European football has finished up in NFL stadiums across the United States, so it's time to shift our attention back to the gridiron fields that will pack the seats every week through the fall. We're having a look at the best odds to make the NFL playoffs with the preseason set to get underway in just a couple of weeks.

The Arizona Cardinals have the longest shot across all 32 teams, with +1600 odds to reach the road to the Super Bowl; can they line bettors' pockets? With the Los Angeles Rams (-455) and Baltimore Ravens (-360) so short to reach the playoffs, is there value on the other side?

🔢 NFL to make the playoffs odds 2026

Here are live "to make playoffs" odds for all 32 teams from our best NFL betting sites.

📈 Which teams offer the best value to make the postseason?

Some squads that I like to reach the postseason are simply too long to pose significant value. The Baltimore Ravens (-360) and Super Bowl-favorite Los Angeles Rams (-455) are simply too long to see a fair return on their price.

The Miami Dolphins (+1200), Arizona Cardinals (+1600), and New York Jets (+800) haven't shown us anything in recent seasons - or made significant enough changes - to make us believe that they can pay off those long prices to reach the playoffs.

Here are my three favorite values to reach the postseason:

Denver Broncos (-145)

Shocked to get the Broncos at less than -150 following what we saw last season. Bo Nix has shown that he's a franchise quarterback, and he's stepping into his third season and poised to take another serious step into stardom. He needs to clean up the sacks and interceptions a bit, but that's precisely the type of thing that many quarterbacks figure out during their first few seasons as they continue to learn to read defenses and anticipate what's coming. He's also cool under pressure, leading numerous game-winning drives.

The offensive line has excellent continuity, JK Dobbins looks to be healthy in the backfield, and Jaylen Waddle joins the receiving corps. The defensive side of the ball brings back numerous key pieces, with Pat Surtain II and Alex Singleton leading the way. This is a team that opponents will struggle to produce against week-in-and-out, nevermind at the always difficult to visit Mile Hile Stadium.

This should almost be the price for Denver to capture the division as the Kansas City Chiefs enter a period of vulnerability and the Las Vegas Raiders are breaking in a rookie quarterback.

Jacksonville Jaguars (-105)

The Jags are another team that could well compete to win the division, but unlike the Broncos, the price here is closer to a coin toss that they even reach the postseason. Jacksonville won't have as easy a time this season as it did on an 8-0 run in while winning the AFC South last year, but it was hardly a fluke.

The defensive side of the ball was elite last year, and doesn't have a lot of turnover. On the offensive side, Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr. should take another step forward in their second year under Liam Coen, which is always helpful. This team has grown together, and last year will have given plenty of confidence.

With the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans again looking like teams that should give the Jags a solid 3-1 foundation, they seem well poised to fight for a wild-card berth.

Chicago Bears (+105)

The Bears won the NFC North last year, and while I'm not expecting a repeat in such a competitive division, I'll get behind them battering the softer teams in the conference. I'm clocking the Bears as a nine-win team, and I'm thinking that should be enough to sneak into the playoffs. And it also gives a bit of wiggle room for an upset or two to bring them to 10 wins. Things are indeed difficult against squads like the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions, but there's plenty of positive in the Windy City.

It's year two under Ben Johnson, a difficult offense to pick up, but extra reps should help things along the way. Like Nix in Denver, QB Caleb Williams is set to take another step forward in his development. A young and flashy pass-catching squad (Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, Colston Loveland) provides plenty of upside. Chicago led the league last year in turnovers and takeaways, and while that's unlikely to repeat, at the very least Dennis Allen's defensive schemes should continue to cause fits for the opposition.
