My Buccaneers vs. Cowboys same-game parlay for Thursday Night Football in Week 5 expects the Cowboys to overwhelm a rookie quarterback for its second straight win in October. At home, I like Dallas to dominate offensively in a breakout matchup for its starting tight end.

With the Cowboys favored by 8.5 points and the total set at 47.5, the action kicks off from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Thursday at 8:15 p.m. ET (Amazon Prime Video).

Buccaneers vs. Cowboys parlay picks

Cowboys -8.5 (-112 via FanDuel)

The Cowboys have won just one game by this margin so far on the season, but they’ve been productive for bettors to this point, posting a 3-1 ATS record.

Though Dallas has struggled defensively at times, I’m not sure Jalon Daniels -- the mistake-prone rookie quarterback filling in for Baker Mayfield -- will have the chops to take advantage.

The Cowboys average 30.5 points per game (t-2nd in NFL) and should pull away in this matchup.

Jake Ferguson Over 26.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel)

Ferguson has cleared this receiving line just once in four games, but he’ll face a favorable matchup to increase his output on Thursday.

The Buccaneers have allowed 68.25 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends, ranking sixth-most in the NFL. DraftKings lists Ferguson’s receiving line at 29+ yards, so FanDuel offers a slightly better value on this prop.

Jalon Daniels Over 44.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

I’m expecting little from Daniels in the passing department, but on the ground, he should be productive in the negative game script that we project.

In his first NFL start last week, Daniels logged eight carries for 55 yards. The Cowboys are a plus matchup for his rushing output. Dallas has permitted more rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks than any other team, surrendering 47.0 yards per game.

The lines at FanDuel and DraftKings are identical on this prop, so with FanDuel’s edge on the Ferguson prop, we’re inclined to play the parlay there with +585. That compares to +575 at DraftKings.
