This line was 76ers -2.5 on Wednesday night, but money has since come in on Philadelphia as the market overreacts to one upset win. Don't overreact to the Knicks' championship hangover - the 76ers' offense is a giant red flag.

The Cavaliers are similar to the 76ers' first opponent, the Knicks, in that both feature ball-dominant point guards, James Harden and Jalen Brunson.
While the 76ers focused on pressuring Brunson and getting the ball out of his hands, that led to OG Anunoby attempting nine 3-pointers. Sam Merrill attempted the second-most catch-and-shoot 3-pointers per game (5.8) for the Cavaliers last season, behind only Max Strus. However, with Strus now with the Clippers, Merrill will be the go-to catch-and-shoot option if and when the 76ers help on Harden.

While the 76ers' offense wasn't as productive as expected, I was impressed with how aggressive James was.
He didn't go Over his 15.5-point total on Opening Night - I actually bet the Under in my 76ers vs. Knicks prediction - but that was more fluke than anything. He attempted 13 field goals, a slight drop-off from his 15.3 attempts per game last season, and his shot chart is telling.
James wasn't settling for outside jump shots, as he has in previous seasons. Instead, he was driving to the basket, which is a much higher-percentage shot. While he didn't go Over 15.5 points on Opening Night, he likely will today if he puts up a similar shot chart.
