My best college football player props for Week 7 target Darian Mensah, Deuce Lawrence, and Cam Coleman in excellent matchups. Mensah should have no trouble leading No. 3 Miami against Florida State's struggling defense, while Coleman should see plenty of scoring opportunities as the offense of No. 7 Texas battles Florida's secondary.

Below, I also explain why Lawrence running all over California's defense is one of my best college football Week 7 predictions.

Darian Mensah Over 269.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

Florida State has allowed 244.7 yards per game, ranking 114th nationally, and 7.9 yards per pass, ranking 108th. This pass defense has allowed at least 270 passing yards three times, allowing both SMU's third-ranked passing attack and Alabama's 31st-ranked passing attack to beat their season averages by 49.7 yards or more.

Because Miami has dominated so much this season, Mensah has only topped 270 yards twice. However, he's averaging 10.8 yards per attempt, and though Miami is favored by 21.5, I don't expect the Hurricanes to back off if they go up by a lot over their rivals.

📡 SBR Edge: Florida State can't stop big pass plays

Florida State ranks last in the ACC in 10-yard and 20-yard pass plays allowed, while also giving up 12 passes of 30+ yards and five of 40+ yards. Miami has 12 30-yard passing plays and six 40-yard passing plays this season.

Deuce Lawrence Over 47.5 rushing yards (-114 via FanDuel)

Lawrence has rushed for at least 45 yards in five of his six games this season. He only failed to hit that threshold against Miami. He's averaging 5.1 yards per carry and has averaged at least 5.8 yards per carry in three straight games.

Though Wake Forest ranks 63rd in rush attempts per game, I'm expecting more attempts against the nation's 109th-ranked rush defense. California allows 173.2 rushing yards per game and 4.86 yards per carry, the latter ranking 118th nationally. Additionally, California has allowed the third-most rushes of at least 20 yards (13) in college football.

Cam Coleman anytime touchdown scorer (+140 via FanDuel)

Coleman leads Texas in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns heading into an excellent matchup against the SEC's worst pass defense. Florida has allowed 11 passing touchdowns this season, which is the third-most in the conference. And considering Florida is allowing an average of 29 points per game, I expect Texas to find the end zone plenty through the air.

Coleman has scored in three of his five games this season, including last week against Oklahoma. In that game, he caught five passes for 110 yards. Though Ryan Wingo has more receptions than Coleman, Coleman has at least three receptions in four of his five games.
