My best college football player props for Week 6 focus on three players in favorable matchups against Power 4 opponents. Below. No. 3 Notre Dame takes on Stanford's terrible pass defense, and I'm expecting Jordan Faison to dominate against the struggling secondary. I'm also highlighting TJ Thomas and Sedrick Alexander, two running backs taking on weak run defenses.

Here are my best college football Week 6 predictions.

Jordan Faison Over 78.5 receiving yards (-114 via FanDuel)

Stanford is allowing 299.8 passing yards per game, which is the second-most in the nation. The defense is also allowing 8.3 yards per attempt, which ranks 123rd, and a 68.5% completion percentage, which ranks 130th.

Notre Dame ranks 38th in passing yards per game, with CJ Carr throwing for between 234 and 253 yards per game. Carr's favorite target all season has been Faison. Faison leads Notre Dame with 25 receptions, seven more than any other player, and 371 receiving yards. He has caught at least four passes in every game, reaching at least 81 yards twice.

📡 SBR Edge: Faison makes the most of his receptions

Even if Notre Dame gets out to a huge lead, as I expect, Faison is averaging 14.8 yards per reception, so it won't take many catches for him to hit this Over.

TJ Thomas anytime touchdown scorer (-110 via DraftKings)

Darius Taylor leads Minnesota with four rushing touchdowns, but three of them came against Eastern Illinois. Thomas may only have one rushing touchdown this season, but he's been Minnesota's most productive back. He's rushed for 307 yards, 168 more than any teammate, and he's averaging 6.7 yards per carry.

Purdue has allowed 10 rushing touchdowns, tied for the most in the Big Ten. But Purdue's defense isn't just bad around the goal line. Purdue is allowing 184.6 rushing yards per game and 5.34 yards per carry. I expect Thomas to break off multiple huge runs in this game, and I'm anticipating at least one of those finding the end zone.

Sedrick Alexander Over 49.5 rushing yards (+130 via FanDuel)

Alexander leads the fourth-worst rushing offense in the SEC, but I like him to reach at least 50 yards against the SEC's worst rushing defense. Ole Miss is allowing 194.8 rushing yards per game, but what really catches my eye is that the Rebels are allowing 4.64 yards per carry. That ranks 108th in the country.

While Alexander hasn't carried the ball more than 11 times in a game, he's still averaging 4.4 yards per carry. He's topped 50 yards in two of his five games, and he just averaged 4.4 yards per carry against Georgia's defense.
