UK-based online gambling giant bet365 launched its online casino and sportsbook in Michigan last week, marking its entry into its 17th US state and extending its North American rollout. The launch paired the operator's Michigan debut with new partnerships across Detroit sports, including the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings, and 313 Presents.

Michigan customers gained access to bet365's sportsbook and casino platform, which includes competitive odds, early lines, in-play betting, and the company's Early Payout feature. That offer allows customers to collect winnings before a game ends when their team takes a decisive lead. The casino product also launched with a daily Prize Matcher feature, which offers prizes worth up to $5,000 each week.

The operator backed the rollout into the Michigan sports betting and Michigan online casino markets with introductory promotions for both sportsbook and casino users. New sportsbook customers were offered a "Bet $10, Get $365" deal. Casino players were offered 1,000 free spins and a deposit match of up to $1,000. Those offers gave bet365 a high-profile entry point in a market that already includes several established operators.

The Michigan launch also tied directly into local sports marketing. bet365 was named an Official Sports Betting Partner of the Detroit Tigers, with planned visibility throughout Comerica Park. The agreement included broadcast exposure through virtual signage, placements across Tigers radio and digital channels, and fan-focused activations linked to ticketing and merchandise during the season.

The launch reflects bet365's wider US strategy of entering legal markets with a product built from previous state rollouts. Since April 17, customers aged 21 and over in Michigan have been able to download the app or access the site to take advantage of Michigan sportsbook promos and Michigan online casino no deposit bonuses.

Detroit SportsNet adds bet365 as presenting partner

That team and venue push also extends into local sports media. Detroit SportsNet (DSN) announced bet365 as its presenting partner, giving the sportsbook a direct role in the network's on-air identity and game coverage.

Under the agreement, the network's official name became Detroit SportsNet, presented by bet365. The partnership also added branded elements throughout telecasts and introduced live odds integrations during broadcasts. Those additions were positioned as part of the viewer experience for audiences who follow the sports betting market while watching local coverage.

The announcement came as Detroit SportsNet established distribution across major television providers. The network became available through Comcast/Xfinity, DirecTV, Charter/Spectrum, Fubo, and other providers that previously carried locally available Tigers games. Those carriage agreements were finalized at the beginning of the month.

The same deals formally installed Detroit SportsNet as the new broadcast home of the Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings. That gave the network a central place in Detroit's sports media market while also giving bet365 a prominent platform tied to two major franchises.

In combination with the Michigan sportsbook launch, the broadcast partnership gave bet365 immediate exposure across both wagering and live sports coverage in the state.
