Hometown rapper Lil Wayne is the opening favorite to perform by the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show odds from our best Super Bowl betting sites.
Though he's well known for his Green Bay Packers fandom, New Orleans-based rapper Lil Wayne is the betting favorite to perform by the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show odds when his hometown hosts the NFL's championship game next February.
The 2025 Super Bowl will be played on Sunday, Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, LA. Though the matchup is far from set (couldn't be further, really) and there likely won't be an announced act for the halftime show until early in the fall, FanDuel Ontario is early to post NFL odds for who will be the halftime entertainment.

Favorite to perform 2025 Super Bowl halftime show
Lil Wayne (+320)
While Lil Wayne, or Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., is from New Orleans, he's known as a Packers fan. Could that prompt the NFL to look elsewhere with this game played at the home of the Saints?
Lil Wayne's latest mixtape - Tha Fix Before the VI - was released in September. Fans now await the scheduled release of two albums - Tha Carter VI and I Am Not a Human Being III - in 2024. Those upcoming releases could put Lil Wayne in consideration, and it'll be important to watch those release dates. If one is moved back to early 2025, that could be a sign that he'll perform.
For now, I'd pass on these short odds for the favorite, which imply a 23.81% probability of Lil Wayne doing the show, as his music and prior legal troubles don't necessarily cater to the broad audience of the Super Bowl.

Will Taylor Swift perform the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show?
Swift opened at +450 odds to perform the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show but soon after moved up to +500. Those new odds infer a 16.67% probability. While the pop megastar certainly reaches the universal audience of typical Super Bowl halftime shows, she reportedly declined an invitation to perform in 2024 amid her global "Eras Tour."
It's quite possible that Swift is too big for the Super Bowl, and the Pennsylvania native has little to tie her to New Orleans after rising to celebrity status as a country music artist in Nashville.
2025 Super Bowl halftime show prediction
Miley Cyrus (+900)
Cyrus opened and was long listed as the favorite to perform the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show in Las Vegas before Usher was eventually chosen as a long-shot pick. Her "Flowers" album later won the Grammy for Record of the Year.
The 31-year-old Tennessee native opened at +2500 to perform the 2025 halftime show but had fallen to +900 in the days after 2024's Big Game. Cyrus would represent a break from the active streak of R&B and Hip-Hop artists performing the halftime show with her pop and country music stylings. There'd also be no shortage of collaboration potential, with past collabs including Dolly Parton, Ludacris, Britney Spears, Future, and Nelly.
