It's actually cheaper having skipped the (A) bets. Had you played both (A) bets, you would have won 100 on OKC and lost 116 on N.O. (M/L). So today's (B) bet would be 216 on N.O. Since we skipped the (A) bets, today's bet is played as a (B) on N.O. for 200, since their was no juice lost in (A). Either way, it is a two unit profit if both series win, and less of a loss amount if N.O. series loses by playing scenario #2.

So your statement should have read:

This sucks......especially if you played both of the bets on (A).

But who is going bet $3,400 to win $200?? It's basically a no play. So my commentary was not a knock on you or the suggestion but rather the circumstance it puts us in. It sucks either way you approach it but I will give you that it sucks more if you did play both A bets versus doing nothing at all.

I only made +38 units this season mainly because I skipped all the big M/L plays and having to take the loss on the series and also forgetting to bet a few plays here and there. Still a great year and looking forward to do it all over again next year!!! (unless Wallco decides to jump back in )

Will look into the NCAA over the summer to see if it fits into a system like this or similar to this...who knows...

And thanks to everyone for the points even though I have no idea what to do with them yet.

Be careful with the baseball. I believe I somewhat tested this a few years back, and found there are a lot of long, extended losing streaks in MLB. And since the lines are a lot higher than (-110), you really can only play those out to (C) and not (D).

Also, I was looking at Nationals results. They won their first 4 games and lost their last 3. How is there a (C) bet on Washington?

My bad. Been keeping track of favorites that lost by 2 runs or more. Wash has done that. Looked at the wrong paper.

Great finish to the season after the Memphis hiccup which was a costly one. I did not make +54 Units either for many of the same reasons as you. But overall I did make money and when you bet that is the ultimate goal. I really enjoy playing this chase and although it gets tough to stick with a series sometimes it is amazing how it plays out time after time.

Skyscrapers...thanks for your dedication to this system and taking time out of your life to post plays and results. It is truly appreciated! I hope you find something good to do with those points!

Sorry to drag this thread up out of season but I'm planning on following along next season and I was wondering how many units you guys would suggest having in a bankroll if you were only going to be betting on these plays. It seems that there are often many bets on the same day, and coupled with potentially large bets from ML plays I'd want to be sure I have enough in my bankroll to cover them all. Is 50 units enough? Should it be 100? More?

You should determine what your bankroll is and from that determine your individual bet size. Your bet size (unit amount) should always be 1%-2% of your bankroll to start. So no matter what size your bankroll is at the beginning of the season, that is equivalent to 100 units. If you start with $1000 bankroll, then your individual unit size should be $10-$20, hence a $10,000 roll would generate $100-$200 units. This is just my opinion, but is a good formula to make your bankroll last. You can even reevaluate you bankroll amount once a month and raise or lower your unit size based on whether you are up or down at that particular point in time (1%-2% of new balance). Play disciplined and don't over bet to chase losses, and with this system you should be able to generate a decent profit without wiping yourself out. You just have to beware of the M/L plays until we can come up with a better strategy to play them.
