Tyrant gets butthurt when a woman refuses his unlawful demands for her ID. The blue line liar copsplains in an attempt to violate her rights, but she openly objects to his demands and actions.

TYRANT: "Are you a sovereign citizen?"
    WOMAN: "No, I'm not...I don't work for the government...no."

High Level Police Lieutenant Arrested, Held Without Bond For Running Meth Trafficking Ring

Escambia County, FL — There is a saying among police officers that has even been the subject of billboards across the country. It goes like this, “If you don’t like police, next time call a crackhead.” This puerile catchphrase is thrown about online by police and apologists like it actually has merit and that the only other option for not calling the cops is calling a crackhead. But what happens when the police are the crackheads and meth dealers?

As TFTP readers know, police officers are caught trafficking and using drugs all the time. As the following case out of Florida shows us, even top level officials aren’t immune from breaking their oaths to participate in the other side of the war on drugs.

Authorities with the Escambia County (FL) Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit, SWAT team and Patrol Division conducted a drug trafficking sting earlier this month and ended up nabbing a fellow cop. The cop was a superior officer in the Flomaton Police Department, Lieutenant Isaac R. Lopez.

According to the agency, which was also accompanied by the DEA, Lopez was attempting to buy large quantities meth in Florida, to bring back to Flomaton, Alabama to distribute it.

Lopez had no idea that he was arranging to buy two ounces of methamphetamine from an Escambia County (FL) Sheriff’s Office investigator by phone and text messages, according to an arrest report. So, that day, Lopez showed up at the predetermined location and purchased two ounces of methamphetamine from the undercover cop.

“The takedown was in the 5800 block of North Highway 29,” Escambia County (FL) Sheriff’s Office Commander Robert Quinata told NorthEscambia.com. “There is still a lot of this under investigation.”

Though Lopez was not on duty at the time, he was using official police equipment to facilitate the meeting and to purchase the meth. After Lopez made the purchase, he was arrested and was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and using a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony. He was booked into the Escambia County (FL) Jail and held without bond.

NorthEscambia.com reports that Escambia County (AL) Sheriff Heath Jackson said Lopez is expected to face a felony charge in Alabama for user of official position or office for personal gain because Lopez used his Flomaton Police Department issued cellphone.

“He used his city cell phone to orchestrate it,” Jackson said. “We believe he was going to come back to Alabama and distribute the meth on this end.”

“Our investigation is ongoing and we will continue to follow any leads that might come out of it,” Jackson said. “We hold law enforcement to a higher standard… We will police our own people as we do the community.”

Jackson told reporters that he doesn’t believe any other officers in the Flomaton department were involved. After his arrest, Flomaton Police Chief Charles Thompson announced that he will be firing Lopez.

“Peace officers are to be held to the highest standards and will continue to be held as such,” Thompson said. “Actions like these will not be tolerated.”

While TFTP feels that people should be able to use and freely exchange these substances deemed illegal by the state, when police officers betray the trust instilled in them by the communities they serve, this is an especially egregious act. Moreover, the hypocrisy of kidnapping and caging people for selling meth while selling meth is even more repugnant.

Sadly, when cops get busted betraying their communities and breaking the laws they enforce, they almost never get jail time. Just last month, TFTP reported on Scott County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Baker and Reserve Officer Phillip E. Thomas who both pleaded guilty to both using steroids and running a steroid ring in which they sold drugs to their fellow officers. Instead of jail, however, they both received less than one year of probation.

In October, we reported on five sheriff’s officers in New Jersey who were arrested and pleaded guilty, admitting to purchasing drugs and conspiring to distribute cocaine to fellow officers. However, because they are cops, not a single one of them will see the inside of a jail cell.

Despite betraying the community’s trust, breaking their oaths to the constitution, and using their positions in law enforcement to commit crimes which they are tasked with stopping, the officers were sentenced to probation only.

Due to “his years of honorable service” Lopez will likely experience a similar fate.

I was briefed today on the August incident involving two Keller police officers that has been circulated by various news outlets and resulted in a civil lawsuit.

In the interest of transparency, the city has shared the footage of this incident along with a copy of the internal affairs complaint and findings. Both items can be viewed online at www.cityofkeller.com/police.

The pending civil lawsuit limits my ability to discuss this specific situation. However, I believe our residents deserve and may benefit from some additional information about the process through which incidents like this are handled.

As has been correctly reported, this incident underwent review by command staff within hours. All charges were dropped, the plaintiff was released from custody and fines related to the traffic stop reimbursed.

Keller PD then proactively initiated an internal affairs investigation. In addition to communication between command staff and the plaintiff named in the civil suit, this internal investigation sought a recommendation from the Police Chief’s Citizen Advisory Council.

This advisory council was formed in early 2019 and is composed of eight civilians — diverse religious and civic leaders whose purpose is to advise and assist the Chief of Police on matters pertaining to policy, training, and policing services to all who live, visit and conduct business in Keller.

Ultimately, the internal affairs investigation resulted in a recommendation for the Police Chief to demote the primary officer involved in this incident from the rank of Sergeant to the rank of Officer, which occurred in September 2020.

Keller PD is a state recognized and nationally accredited department, and those designations come with extensive protocols and policies. Police encounters like these, however, remind us that as a city and as a department, we must continually work to strengthen our standards.

With that in mind, City Council will meet in a special executive session at 6 p.m. next Tuesday, Dec. 29, for a full briefing on the incident. I hope to share more information with residents following that discussion.

Cop Indicted After Video Caught Him Breaking Into Dead Man’s Home, Stealing His Guns

Santa Ana, CA — A veteran cop was arrested on multiple felony charges including “suspicion of burglary” after he was captured on home surveillance footage repeatedly returning to the home of a dead 70-year-old man and stealing from him. Amazingly enough, despite the video, the officer was not immediately fired and instead placed on paid administrative leave.

This week, however, a grand jury indicted the disgraced Orange County sheriff’s deputy on burglary and gun theft charges months after he allegedly broke into the deceased man’s home several times, prosecutors said Tuesday, according to KTLA.

“This act in and of itself has done so much damage to the public perception of law enforcement and the timing could not be more detrimental,” DA Todd Spitzer said in a written statement Tuesday.

Deputy Steve Hortz, a 12-year veteran of the Orange County Sheriff’s department reportedly responded to a home in Yorba Linda after family called in a welfare check on a 70-year-old man. When Hortz arrived, he found that the man had died of natural causes.

On Tuesday, Hortz was indicted on three felony counts of second-degree burglary and two felony counts of grand theft of a firearm.

As TFTP reported, on September 9, the family of the deceased called the department to tell them that multiple items were missing from the home.

An attorney for the family provided the department with surveillance footage from the home which showed this thieving deputy returning to the property on multiple occasions and leaving with stolen items. In the video we see the deputy brazenly entering the home with a dolly and hauling off stolen items.

    As CBS Los Angeles reports:

"In the first incident, Hortz returned to the home July 27 and allegedly broke into the unoccupied residence through the rear and left a short time later. It was unclear if Hortz, who was in uniform at the time, left with any property from the home.

Hortz then returned to the home on the mornings of Aug. 10 and 16 in civilian clothes and allegedly removed items including weapon safes, ceiling fans and cases containing unknown items.

OCSD immediately launched an investigation into the burglaries as soon as they were reported. Hortz was arrested the morning of Sept. 10 and was booked into the Santa Ana Jail on suspicion of burglary. He was also placed on administrative leave, and the department said it was investigating prior calls Hortz handled to see if similar instances had occurred."

Despite the video of the deputy’s crimes, he was not immediately fired, even after the sheriff blasted him in a statement.

“The suspected criminal actions of this deputy are a violation of public trust,” OC Sheriff Don Barnes said in a statement. “This deputy will be held accountable through a swift and thorough process including a full criminal and internal administrative investigation.”

“I will do everything we can to make sure he does not return to a uniform in this organization or anywhere else for that matter,” Barnes said during a news conference at the time.

However, that bad cop was allowed to stay on for weeks after being arrested, and was never fired. Instead, Hortz resigned to avoid departmental discipline.

Barnes did say that he is now investigating other incidents in which Hortz was involved in order to see if there are other potential thefts.

This cop stole 15 firearms from a dead man. He also stole the man’s ceiling fans and multiple weapons safes — which he can be seen brazenly leaving the home with on a dolly.

“He’s embarrassed this profession, he’s embarrassed this organization, and he’s embarrassed the almost 4,000 members who do good work everyday,” Barnes said.

But not all 4,000 of those cops are angels. In fact, the day before Hortz was arrested, another Orange County deputy, Angelina Cortez was charged with a felony for stealing a credit card from a suspect and using it.

Cops Get a Year in Prison for Forcing Man to Run from Them, Taser Him from the Car Window

Houston, TX — We cringe when we see videos of cops shooting people through their windshields and windows. But we especially shiver when cops taser people from a moving vehicle because we have reported in the past how such actions lead can lead to the death of children and jail sentences for unscrupulous cops. Former officers Kenneth Elmore and John McCaffery are two cops who received a year in jail each for their sadistic and dishonest acts.

Authorities said officers Kenneth Elmore and John McCaffery wrongfully used a stun gun to shock Kedrick Kizzie, charged Kizzie with a crime he didn’t commit and then lied to cover up their illegal conduct. The entire incident was recorded on video, but Elmore and McCaffery lied to the district attorney’s office, and also on the arrest, incident and use of force reports.

“They attacked [the man], charged him with a crime he didn’t commit, and lied to cover it up,” Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon said in a statement after the officers were sentenced. “These defendants disregarded their oaths to protect, to serve and to tell the truth.”

According to KHOU, the prosecutor said the one-year sentence was symbolic because that’s what Kizzie would have received if convicted for the crime he didn’t commit.

The truth, as seen in the body camera footage, was much sicker than the officers’ whitewashed police reports. Elmore and McCaffery responded to a domestic disturbance call on July 29, 2017 where Kizzie was visiting his family.

After entering the home and forcing Kizzie to leave, the officers then gave the 20-year-old black man the chance to walk away from the home, down the street, a free man. But the sicko cops had other plans. The two men turned to each other and one asked the other, “Drive-by taser?”

“Yeah, I’m not gonna chase him on foot, I don’t need to chase him. My car will chase him though,” another officer replied. “He’s pissing me off now.”

The question was so nonchalant it gave many observers the impression the pair of cops had done drive-by tasering many times before. Kizzie, thinking he was a free man and would not be arrested, did what the officers told him to do and that was to leave. But when he saw the officers in their cruisers following him, he believed with reason the cops were up to no good and were actually going to kill him. He ran.

Running was just what Elmore and McCaffery wanted him to do. They pursued him in their squad cars. We at TFTP do not like to race bait, and we truly are not anti-cop, but pro-accountability. However, while we were writing this story we could not help but get a visual image of slave owners chasing down fleeing slaves. Two white men with guns were riding in their gas powered horses, chasing down a fleeing, shirtless, black man through the streets of Texas. The optics were that disturbing to us.

Fortunately, Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon said he saw right through the optics and could tell he had a couple of bad cops he had to prosecute. “I’m the son of a police officer. I know a good police officer when I see them. But I also know a bad police officer when I see them,” he told reporters last year. Equally disturbing to some who viewed the video was the way McCaffery spoke to Kizzie after running him down like a gazelle and tasering him from a moving squad car.

“Run your mouth now bitch! Now what are you going to say? Who caught you? Whose prongs are in your f**king back? Who caught you bitch running your f**king mouth!” the public servant said.

Ligon said it wasn’t the profanity which got the two officers arrested and convicted of felonies. It was lying on their police report, specifically, about stating the officers had given Kizzie multiple opportunities to comply with officer commands. In fact, no such accommodation was afforded to the young man. Instead, he was cajoled to run, then tasered, then taunted for running.

Before the chase McCaffery told Kizzie, “Nobody’s going to chase you! We want you to leave.”

That, too, was a lie. In fact, the plan was the opposite. They wanted him to run, and they were going to chase him and taser him when he did.

A Montgomery County jury agreed, convicting the two officers for felonious lying on their police reports and sentencing them to prison.

They can no longer be peace officers ever again. We salute DA Ligon for doing his job and defending the public against tyrant sociopath and, yes, racist police officers. We only wish more DA’s were less concerned about getting reelected and fearful of the police officers’ union than they are about keeping the public safe.

This happened earlier in the year, but exemplifies the blue line privilege doled out to oath breakers when they are caught breaking the law. This pig was caught with 4 baggies that tested positive for meth and 2 meth pipes in his patrol vehicle and was only given a possession charge. No paraphernalia, DWI or possessing firearms while intoxicated charges like any normal person who isn't a pig would be charged with. Corrupt pigs protecting other criminal pigs.

WATCH: Teens Tell Cop Harassing Them He’s Racist, Cops Says, ‘“Yep, and I’m Proud of It”

Minneapolis, MN – Minnesota police officer Rod Webber was caught on camera in March 2015 threatening 17-year-old Hamza Jeylani. The threats entailed severe bodily harm — breaking the teens leg. The video subsequently went viral after we reported on it five years ago. However, the police had more video of the incident which was apparently even worse but they chose to keep it secret this entire time. Thanks to a FOIA request by a local news outlet, we now see the true scope of the problem.

Earlier this month, the Sahan Journal obtained the entire video, which is full of racist tirades and threats the 24-year veteran of the Minneapolis Police Department, officer Roderic Weber dished out in front of his fellow officers — who did absolutely nothing.

Though Weber would later be fired, in what turned out to be a brutal battle between the department and the union who defended him, none of the other cops who condoned the officer’s actions have faced so much as a slap on the wrist.

Now, there are renewed calls for an investigation into the systemic corruption and racism inside the department that killed George Floyd.

The officer’s newly discovered actions—described as volatile, prejudiced, and horrific by police accountability advocates—highlight the Minneapolis Police Department’s often tenuous relationship with people of color, and especially the Somali community, the Sahan Journal reports.

“We are saddened to learn the shocking nature of this incident and the failure of the previous investigation to discipline other officers who are involved,” Jaylani Hussein, executive director of CAIR-Minnesota, said in a statement.

“CAIR-Minnesota demands a new investigation into this incident as well as new disciplinary charges for all officers involved who were not disciplined in the previous investigation. Those officers who stood by and allowed the conduct of this officer showed clearly that this type of behavior is welcomed, practiced, and protected.”

As TFTP reported at the time, Jeylani was in the car with his three friends after playing basketball at the YMCA when they were pulled over. The teens were compliant when asked who owned the vehicle, but were nonetheless pulled from the car. Jeylani filmed as Webber threatened him, saying,

"Plain and simple, if you f** with me, I’m going to break your leg before you get the chance to run. I’m being honest; I don’t screw around."

“I never said I was going to run,” Jeylani says in response.

Webber replies “I’m just giving you a heads up. Just trying to be officer friendly right now.”

According to the ACLU, “police said the stolen car they were after was a blue Honda Civic. The teenagers, however, were driving a blue Toyota Camry.” In addition, Jeylani asserts that the driver of the vehicle had documentation proving him to be the owner. Despite this evidence clearing the kids, the cops cuffed them all and made them wait an hour while searching the vehicle and doing background checks on all four teens, Faysal Mohamed told My Fox Twin Cities.

“Can you tell me why I’m being arrested?” asked the Jeylani, to which Webber replied, “Because I feel like arresting you.”

All four of the boys were of Somali descent, and believe they were the victims of racial profiling. They later filed a complaint that led to Weber’s firing.

However, the true despicable nature of the stop was not known publicly until now. During the stop, the officer essentially wished the teens death and genocide based solely on their nationality.

“Do you remember what happened in Black Hawk Down when we killed a bunch of you folk? I’m proud of that,” Officer Weber said.

“We didn’t finish the job over there, ‘cause if we had finished the job, you guys wouldn’t be over here right now,” Weber added.

“You’re racist, bro,” said one of the teens.

“Yep, and I’m proud of it,” Weber replied.

All of this was said within earshot of Weber’s fellow officers, yet none of them said or did anything. This is the problem with ostensible “good cops.”

As you watch the video below, remember that this is the cop that the police union fought so hard to keep on the force.

WATCH: Cop Nearly Kills Partner While Shooting Unarmed Man Holding a Phone

Lake Havasu City, AZ — Earlier this month a trigger happy cop nearly killed his fellow officer while shooting an unarmed man who was wanted on warrants over a traffic stop. The body camera footage was just released this week highlighting the danger of the “feared for my life” mentality and the lack of restraint when using deadly force.

Though Lake Havasu City police wouldn’t say on what charges 29-year-old Steven Douglas was wanted, according to court records, he was wanted on charges of Unlawful Flight From Pursuing Law Enforcement Vehicle. These charges, which were both filed on August 19, were filed alongside misdemeanor charges for Reckless Driving and Failure to Obey A Police Officer.

In other words, he fled from a traffic stop.

Douglas was not considered armed and dangerous at all, yet Sergeant Brian Jacobs, a 13-year veteran of LHCPD, approached Jacobs with his gun drawn when he was spotted at a local Hobby Lobby.

When Jacobs sees a gun pointed in his face, he takes off running and is stopped on the next aisle by another officer. Jacobs never attacked the other officer and was merely trying to run away but he could not.

Jacobs, as he still has his gun trained on Douglas, yells at the unarmed man to “drop it” several times. Though police admitted Douglas was unarmed, they wouldn’t release details on the object in Douglas’ hand, but it appeared to be a cellphone in the video, and he certainly dropped it.

After yelling “drop it” once more, Jacobs opened fire inside the store with his partner directly in his line of sight. Luckily for his partner, the bullet did not go through Douglas, who was struck in the abdom

After Jacobs shot him, Douglas falls to the ground in agony.

“I can’t move,” Douglas is heard saying after the shooting.

“I know you can’t, ’cause I shot you! You f**king reached for a gun,” Sergeant Jacobs said in response, attempting to justify his use of deadly force on an unarmed man.

    “I don’t have a gun,” Douglas said.

Jacobs replies again, “I told you to drop it.”

But there was nothing to drop and this officer almost killed two people because of his irrational fear of an unarmed man.

In the moments after the shot was fired, Jacobs’ partner appears to be in shock. He is not saying a word, was not holding any weapon, and seems to be completely flabbergasted at Jacobs’ actions.

At one point, he appears to attempt to console Douglas as he curls up in the fetal position writhing in pain.

According to police, Douglas was transported in critical condition to Havasu Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment of his injuries. After spending several days in the hospital, Douglas was then transported to the Havasu City jail where he immediately posted $5,000 bail and was released. The entire use of deadly force that could’ve killed two people was immediately rendered pointless.

According to Havasu News, both officers involved were placed on paid administrative leave after the shooting, and investigation into the incident was delegated to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. The use of an outside law enforcement agency to perform such investigations is standard practice by the Lake Havasu City Police Department in preventing potential conflicts of interest, or the possible appearance of a conflict of interest in cases of armed force used by officers.

Police have refused to release any other details other than noting that the investigation is still underway.

Below is a video showing the danger presented by fearful cops and their tendency to escalate to deadly force. Douglas had no history of violence, was unarmed, and merely running, when he was shot. Now, instead of simply going to jail for his alleged crimes, Douglas will likely receive a massive settlement — funded by the taxpayers of Arizona.
