Top 2 actually – barely edging out Griggs' to take his rightfully earned place behind Jerzy.

Burned by the Frog again. Del Potro was very average. Thought his effort level would be better due to his need to get matches under his belt. Barf.

And yes ... major props to Senor Simmuray aka Gulbis on his play today vs. Nadal. True believer perhaps.

The biggest problem that limits Gulbis' potential is that he already 24...Much of the rest of his career will still be with Djokovic, Nadal, and Murray still around.

Jerzy is only 22 and Dimitrov just turned 22 today.

Djokovic & Murray are both 26 and likely have 4 more years at the top of there game.. Nadal is a big question mark as his body has to be running down eventually... probably a little earlier then the other 3 of the big 4.

Jerzy and Dimitrov will likely be competing for the top 5 spots by the time Djokovic and Murray are 29-30.

Raonic is another one that is 22...all the potential in the world... but not sure he will ever be able to be a top 2-3 player cause I think there is serious limitations on how good his return game will ever be at his size.

Nishikori is one that everyone forgets about... He could very well see the success that Murray has had. Right now, he is kind of lazy at times... but as he matures, he could be something special. He definitely has the mental capability of it.

I believe your are my new double mint curse. Federer in terminator mode so far this week. Simon usually gives him more trouble. Been a blah week for me in Rome outside of the Wastoid Hit yesterday, been slightly below .500.

I take solace in that I haven't gone into a complete shit spin, but been mostly .500 days with losses on the juice.

Thing for me is that I avoid "add ons" - I stick with my bets for the day and let the shit slide where it may. No/very little chasing and it has served me well.

With two possible outcomes, that's inevitable though, isn't it?

I think Dimitrov can be Top 5 for sure ... I think it's kind of an Andy Murray case where he needs the right motivator in his corner like Lendl did for Murray. Without that - I think Dimitrov will have a career kind of like Murray did pre-2012 ... with less consistency.

Raonic to me is John Isner. Top 10, but as you said very limited in one big facet of the game.

Nishikori's problems seem to be injuries. He's very Michal Chang-esque in his game. Great athlete and surprising power. To me, he seems like he could be a guy who has a break-though year when he stays healthy, but totally fall apart again in a matter of months.

Jerzy to me could big the next generation's Berdych. Good on all-surfaces, but needs a break to get into a Slam semifinal or final.

Damn I was too chicken shit to do what I wanted with Berdych this morning. Ack. At least the walkover for Errani sets the parlay up for some hedging if the Under for Nadal-Ferrer can hit. May be looking at that with the way this week has gone.

why aza overs? she's gonna carve up imo, stosur is a hack. i like fedex to clean up jerzy, especially if berdy holds on as federer will see this as a real chance to make the final. he's always been good against big servers also

Well Rafa is gonna bone me again on an under. Should have broken Ferrer to start the 2nd and now broken himself. Fukk nut. Pretty much how Rome has gone for me.

Under on a Ferrer play when he is a dog is asking for trouble....but you know that EP.

Until these two recent meetings, Nadal has waxed him in short order almost every time. Realistically the last match-up in Spain, Ferrer had every right to finish the under & WIN. Today, Nadal just started the 2nd set so flat today and still damn near turned it around. Seems to be a little more common right now for Nadal to be a little uneven, so live and learn on that. What irritates me is that Nadal usually wins going away in the 3rd ... but flubbed enough in one set to stretch it to three.

Yeah nice call EP. Everyone and the mom saw how many clay matches Seppi had played and saw Lu's record of toiling on Challenger Hard courts the past 2 months and thought they had an easy win.but surfaces aside this match on paper should have been a hell of a lot closer.

Seppi had played like absolute garbage in recent weeks. As long as Lu was healthy, I felt comfortable with the spread. Thought the outright win was possible, but playing it conservative to start the week.
