Yes, it also includes sportsbooks as long as the validation page says that the licensee also holds a license for fixed odds betting which is the case: https://www.authorisation.mga.org.mt...c329&details=1

I wonder if there has ever been a case when a gambling licensor agreed with player's complaint and made a book change their initial decision?

    Still waiting.

There were 2 or 3 cases in UK where UKGC decided for the player but offshore I think the count is 0

Babibet does not appear to be using the same style Delasport software as 18bet and 1bet

are you thinking they are still connected Lonnie?

If you change the view to EURO VIEW (top right corner) you will recognize the similarity

    18bet

    Babibet

Besides, I don't know IF or HOW these three books are connected. It's just a guess. As I said before, 1bet and 18bet had the same owner, Bellona NV, and shared the same license. Then, I think it was in 2017 or 2018 when 18bet acquired an MGA license under the new company name Shark 77 Ltd. But 1bet is still owned by Bellona NV and sublicensed under 8048/JAZ Antillephone:

Bellona NV is also mentioned on agent Premiumtradings' website. Furthermore, Premiumtradings is the only agent that offers babibet and 18bet accounts. So it looks like Premiumtradings, 18bet and babibet are owned by the same company.

We don't know about Babibet. It could be they are completely independent and only share the software. But the link between 1bet and 18bet is quite obvious, isn't it?

Heavy sh*t that PT as a broker is also connected to them, that's a new one to me...

Here is an extract from premiumtradings website where Bellona NV is mentioned: "Being a part of the rapidly growing Bellona N.V company, we work in tandem with all top leading Asian bookies and companies, in order to professionally handle your high stake bets more easily and quickly than ever before."
    And another extract "
Gaming activity is operated and regulated under license no. 8048/JAZ issued by the gaming commission of Curacao and held by Bellona N.V , a company with registered address at E-Commerce Park Vredenberg, Curacao."

By the way premiumtradings offers not only babibet and 18bet accounts but also 1bet accounts. So it is obvious that 1bet, babibet, 18bet and premiumtradings are connected.

The Delasport website says Premiumtradings is a partner site, along with 18bet ad 1bet.

That could the where the connection comes in.

Why would a claiming to be solid agent like Premiumtradings besides reputable books like pinnacle, isn, ibc etc. offer 1bet and babibet accounts? If 1bet and babibet were great books then not only premiumtradings would offer their accounts but also other agents like AC88 and sportmarket. But other agents don't do it. So premiumtradings is the only agent that offers 1bet and babibet accounts. So it is obvious that they do it because they are connected.

Betinasia offers babibet accounts as well. For now I set a tiny limit for sport and casino loses in my personal account and requested a withdrawal

Do you think that your email might have needed more time to answer and that is why they haven't replied yet?

    Thanks.

I'm guessing its a big IF.

I wish I linked this thread in the message that I sent to them.

Its a pretty cut and dry set of cases here, so hopefully something is actually done about it.

    Hi Guys, another quick update.

I have received a surprisingly fast email response from Malta Gaming Authority:

"Thank you for contacting the Malta Gaming Authority.

We have made contact with the representative of Shark77 Limited (18bet.com) on your behalf about the matter you raised, information has been requested with regards to the incident you refer to.

As soon as information becomes available to the Authority you will be notified accordingly.

    Regards,"

Happy you got your money out , probably best to do that considering all of this.

I to do a withdrawal from my 18Bet account, but I'm scared that the remaining balance will go too.

My previous pending bet (mentioned in the initial message, just settled and won) So my account balance (excluding the 6600 losing bets) should now be 1125.70 Euros.
I would also like to say that I will not be placing any more bets on the account until this situation is resolved, so if any bets are placed on the account, you will know that it is not me.

Another update, sorry if I am posting too much, someone tell me if I am.
I found another similar case from November of last yet, exactly the same story.
Pending withdrawal cancelled and balance pretty much wiped out in a losing bet which the customer claims not to have placed.

You're not posting too much but please don't post links to other sites like ours.

That player also came to SBR.

At the time 18bet responded with a long explanation of the player history and claimed to hold proof that he had both cancelled the withdraw and placed the bet himself that they were willing to supply if needed.

This was accepted as bona fide and the player was told nothing could be done at that time. It's been re-opened now.

It was a bit personal to go into but basically they explained his history with them and said the same IP block was used to cancel the withdrawal and place the bet as he was emailing them from to complain about it.

Without any similar reports at the time. It sounded quite convincing.

    Ah okay, 100% understandable.

Like with the rest of this thread it basically comes down to their word against his and it makes sense to believe what a big firm like this puts forward.

Opti, do you happen to know the domain of the email? As some (eg gmail) IPs cannot be traced that easily as all IPs point towards Google servers, so the thing they claim might be incorrect.

    Just giving my 2c here.
