18Bet 6600 Euros of losing bets added to my account and 3207 withdrawal cancelled

Hi guys I need some serious help or advice.

I haven’t contacted 18Bet yet because I thought I would ask you guys how to deal with this first.

I have an account with 18Bet and have completed the verification process.

I have had a pending withdrawal of 3209 Euros for 3 days.

Last night I had 3 pending bets 2 on Nigeria Cameroon (which both won) and a bet on Mali vs Ivory Coast which is yet to have started.

So I should have a balance of around 4000 Euros a pending 502 Euro bet and 3209 Euros pending withdrawal.

I logged into my account today however to find that my account balance is 151.82 Euros, my pending withdrawal has been cancelled and 6 losing bets each of 1100 Euros has been added to my account.

If you look at the screenshot that I uploaded the bets are completely out of place.

I never have those round stakes and especially that high.

Also it seems like they have been added manually maybe by accident because in the bet list they are settled above the running bet.

Normally (like the bets that I did actually place last night (Nigeria vs Cameroon) ), they have been settled and are place underneath the running bet.

Could someone give me some guidance as to what to do about this?

Obviously I need to contact them, but I didn’t want to contact them first and then come on here to write this and then someone tell me that I approached the situation all wrong.

It doesn't make sense... after that 6 losing 1100€ bets your account balance would be negative and there is no chance to bet the next 4 bets.

    Not necessary.

At this moment my Bet List:
    Running
    Win
    Loss
    Loss
    Running
    Win
    Win
    Win
    Win
    Loss

May be your login/pass was stolen.
Somebody Cancelled your last withdraw request and placed this bets.

Balance after Nigeria Cameroon Game: 3542.82 Euros
    Pending Withdrawal: 3209
    Pending Bet: 502 Euros

So if you cancel the pending withdrawal then I would have a balance of: 3542.82+3209 = 6751.82

And a pending bet of 502 Euros. What I am saying is that at some point in the night, my withdrawal was cancelled and 6x1100 Euros of losing bets was then added to my account.

    6751.82 – 6600 = 151.82 (which is the balance now)
It doesn’t make any sense you are right.

I wouldn’t cancel the withdrawal and if you look at the betting pattern it doesn’t match at all.

Also the placement of the settled bets in the screenshot should be underneath the pending bet.

Also how likely is it that 6 bets with exactly the same stake lose in one night, when I never place any bets like this before.

    Oh really.

Thanks for the info, that actually helps a lot.

Do you think that the order might be the order that the bets are placed then?

This is also a possibility, but I don't know what someone would gain from this.

This is actually what I initially thought too, but I just can't see how the person could benefit from this, if the bets would have won.

Yes, exactly... bets not 'move' up or down after settled.

This is also a possibility, but I don't know what someone would gain from this.

    Just for laughing...

Contact via Live chat with support, explain situation, ask compare IP address your and from which location was placed bets - in case if you're login/pass was stolen.

You are the 2nd person to complain about this exact thing in the last 3 weeks.

A pending withdraw cancelled and several large losing bets in history.

Please send in a complaint form and we will try to help https://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook-complaint/

We have also seen two eerily similar complaints about 1bet in recent weeks. Same chain of events.

    Hello

18bet will reply as soon as they can Don't worry about missing our reply – if you're not here, we'll send it to you at k********91@gmail.com.

Hello! Could you provide me with your username so I could better assist you?

    y***91

I have a very big problem with my account.

    How may I help?

Last night I had 3 pending bets.

2 of them settled and 1 is still pending

I also had a pending withdrawal of 3209 Euros

Overnight my withdrawal was cancelled and 6 losing bets of 1100 Euros each were placed on my accountI did not cancel my withdrawal and I also did not place those bets.

Allow me a moment to check please.

    Perfect, thank you

According to the records in our system, the bets are from your account and I see nothing wrong with them.

However, if you think that someone might have entered your account or stolen your password, keep in mind that according to our terms: " ...you should ensure that your username and password do not become easily accessible by third parties, as any transactions carried out via your account will remain your responsibility, whether you have given authorization for such actions or not.

If you suspect that your username or password have been obtained by others without you having given prior approval, you should immediately change your password in order to avoid further unauthorized actions. " - https://www.18bet.com/en/pages/terms-and-conditions.

Anyway, feel free to send us an official email at csd@18bet.com in case you wish our Anti-Fraud team to further investigate the case and provide you with additional information.

I am the only one that knows the password for this account.I also can guarantee you that I did not login after I placed those three bets yesterday and I certainly did not cancel my withdrawal and place 6 bets each of 1100 Euros.Could you send me the ip address used when those bets were placed please?

As I already advised, please send an official email with your request at csd@18bet.com and my colleagues will provide you with the relevant information. Make sure to explain the situation in details.

    Okay thanks

    Have a good day

Could you not just provide me right now with the ip address used to place those bets? Since you said "According to the records in our system, the bets are from your account and I see nothing wrong with them"So you must have them to hand, right?

I do not have an access to such information. It can be provided to you only by member of our Anti-Fraud Department by email as a reply to your request.

    Okay, thanks for the help

    You are welcome!

Guys, it feels like I was just brushed off to the side about this, I will send an email to csd@18bet.com update you guys again, but it doesn't feel good to be honest. I guess that I will get the same sort of response from them too.

Does anybody find it weird that Adrian J said ""According to the records in our system, the bets are from your account and I see nothing wrong with them", but then he didn't have the IP address records to hand to give to me?

Does anyone have any suggestions of what else I can do?

Clearly these bets aren't mine, they don't match my betting history and having other similar cases from 18bet and 1Bet which optional mentioned shows this even more.

Also it doesn't make sense for me to cancel a withdrawal which I was waiting for for a fair few days (there was one before which was rejected because they called my phone while I was asleep)

This is some alarming news. Recent incidents with Babibet + 1bet + 18bet:

    #1 at 1bet, June 26:
"I see that my payment was canceled, as well as in my bet history there are bets that I did not make for a total of 1,500 euros:

    BET ID: # 5d12e4d121665 (bet 750 eur)
    BET ID: # 5d12e4cd20362 (bet 750 eur)

    Of course, these bets lost."

    #2 at BABIBET, July 6:
    "
What the f they inserted a fake -650€ loss into my bet history, this is actually insane, how is any of this legal??? They still aren't even answering my emails"

And now we have incident #3 at 18bet. All these books share the same software of Delasport. 18bet and 1bet had the same owner before the company (officially) split up.

I guess these books are stronger connected than they pretend to. Something fishy is going on right now. These fake bet methods are only known from 1xbet, BOL and tipico AFAIK, but the issues at BOL and tipico could be clarified at least and seem to have been caused by hackers or employees. However, I'm afraid these cases with 1bet, Babibet and 18bet could have some deeper reasons. I have always defended 18bet in this forum but these incidents don't make them look good at all.

Hopefully the issues will be resolved. If not, another solid book can be removed from the list.

I guess, the move would be to wait to see what happens about the email that I send and also to see what happens with SBR.

And then write a complaint to their licencors.

    Jesus! This is absolutely nuts.

Losing bets which the customer didn't place, same stakes per bet.

I really hope they sort this out man.

I sent this to Optional via private message an hour or so ago:

Post 17 of this thread from 6 years back seems to think that 1Bet and 18Bet are connected.

You can do as you wish so thats fine.

But I recommend you focus on your own issue as the main point and then refer to this link at the end and explain it shows that 4 other people have been affected in the same way recently.

    I agree completely.

Because basically it comes down to me saying they are not my bets and them saying that they are.
It's pretty much my word against their word.

But this thread would be helpful to give more backup for 'my word'

    650, 1300, 1500 & 1900 euros.

Each time right after a withdraw request.

Each time that withdraw is cancelled without notice and a set of even amount bets placed that all lose and clean out the account balance.

In each case the player has mentioned these bets are not consistent with their betting activity and bet size.

So the 650 and 1500 ones are mentioned in lonnie55's post.

Am I right in assuming that the 1300 and 1900 ones were made up of either 1 bet, or several equally sized bets?

Not that it makes a difference, but just interested to see how much more similar these cases can get.

    1300 was a single bet
    1900 was 700 700 500
    1500 was 750 750
    650 was one bet
    6600 was 1100 x 6

    Just another quick update.

I looked more into the bets placed on my account and I saw that the bets were Under/Over bets. One of the sets of 3 bets were placed on one of the games 20 minutes before kickoff and the other set 40 minutes before kickoff of the other game.

This shows even more that these bets don't match my betting history as I normally bet Under/Over bets days in advanced and failing that, if they are on the same day, there would easily be a 10 or more hours before the game.

In my case betting 650€ wouldn't even be possible since the limits are at best ~90€, they had write it directly to database.

Hmm, it all sound a bit odd.

I had the same feeling, my limits are still quite good but have definitely dropped a fair bit too.

My bet max for those type of bets at those odds bets is around 6-800 but its hard to say because of the events and also the odds.

I checked my bet history and I did actually have one bet of above 1000 Euros not too long ago, but i think after that I don't remember my bet max on anything I clicked being above 1000, I could be wrong though.

I didn't want to say anything earlier about that because I don't really know the exact numbers and it fluctuates between events etc.

Another update I have written the email to csd@18bet.com.

The 18Bet website says that they are licenced by malta gaming authority, so I submitted a complaint on this website:

    https://www.mga.org.mt/support/online-gaming-support/

Did I submit it to the correct place?

    The website says

"The below form is the formal channel enabling players to lodge a complaint against MGA-licensed Online Casinos."

It's a sportsbook complaint, so I am wondering if because it says casinos, does it still include the sportsbook.

Also, in the complaint I mentioned that I started a thread on SBR etc, but I completely forgot to link the thread in there.

Has anyone dealt with them before?

Do they open a dialogue with you? Or is it just the result of their decision and that's it?

This is really crazy, I know there is no hard evidence, yet. But for me its obvious they are trying to steal your money. That they do it with the same method with a few different customers is also something between stupid and audacious. I do not know but in this case I would really consider investing some money, in some alternative problem solving methods. I had issues with them in the past and they were confiscating some money with some completely stupid made up IP-fraud story, they even created some proofs. However I wish you the best of luck here and I hope people now realize what kind of company this is.

Anyway for me its also obvious that babibet, 1bet and 18bet is the same thing. As far as I remember the have the same stuff e.g "Adrian" replying to questions.
