Signed jersey's maybe 10 grand each down the road, helmet $10,000 also. Season tickets (2 seasons probably bleeds) $20,000. Mike Evans signed Jersey 0 value.

Bitcoin $62,000 and $1000 gifts certificate to a damn store.. That totals - $113,000

Ball is worth $500,000 or more - fan could have bought a new house with that kind of pay dirt. Changed his life.

Fan could have asked for security to walk him to a negotiating room to work out a legit deal for the ball immediately. He would still be a hero for giving up the ball in the end once the word got out.

You conveniently omitted the 2nd part of my post. What the ball might be worth and what he'd realize are two different things. Not our money anyway, so none of our concern.

Jibby: if the guy held on to that ball for a couple years, would have been able to sell it for over a million easily.
And quite possibly could have sold it now for over a mill, to some rich brady fan, who would only want to meet brady, hand him the ball and get a photo with him

So, all the players know now...?
If he throws you a TD pass, don't give it to a fan?

    601, 604, etc etc
No fan will see another ball till it's auctioned at a sports show?

Would you pay more for the ball or the jerseys and helmet? Something tells me he will fetch much more now that people know what he did. But would you really sell Tom Brady jerseys or helmet? Get off that broke mentality.

You talk about holding the ball for 2 years. He could get shanked walking home. Dude would be public enemy #1 if he kept that ball like an asshole. Talk about bad karma.

^^^Getting the ball officially verified before leaving the stadium to take it home for 2 years could be a problem I'd think.

Probably would be worth a million if you took the time and effort to wait and auction it off professionally. That would be life changing for a guy like that. Lotto ticket win.

Instead he gets stuff worth $100,000 only.

Only memorabilia I have is from the 70's and some 80s. I do not give a shit about brady's jersey or helmet or a Btc from him vs that history making Td pass ball
point is the guy sold for pennies on the dollar. way under-valued his position
Mcgwire's 70th home run ball sold for $3mill, a babe ruth jersey sold for $4mill, a pair of Ali's gloves sold for over $1mill
So yeah that 600th Td pass ball would have easily sold for $1mill+. there are more than a few wealthy brady fans out there, i would have it -$200 that one of them would have been willing to pay that guy $1mill bucks minimum
that record is huge. no one will ever throw a 600th td pass again in the Nfl even with the 17 games

The guy went to a football game, saw his team win and left with a bitcoin, season tickets for this and next year, helmets, jerseys. Pretty good fuckking day if you ask me.

65,000+ left with nothing close to that.

If I were broke or struggling financially that ball would have never left my hands. Would have held on to that ball like it was my first new born child and never give it up.

May of hopped the first row fence and waited for security on the field to escort me to a secure location. Still would not give up that ball. Verify it and get me out of here security!!

Tom and company kiss my ass or give me a million dollars for it now.

Jibbby - Everything I've read said the most that ball would fetch was $500k. That's before you pay 30% auction fees and 40% gift taxes. Do the math. You barely take home $150k cash.

What are you going to say 2 years from now when BTC is worth $500k? I'm telling you right now, those jerseys and helmet will ultimately sell for more than the ball.

Brady was trying to be funny. He wasn't trying to be smug. He called the guy by his first name out of respect. He gave the guy a BTC. If he would have said he wasn't giving him nothing that would be a dick move.

Which reminds me. Years ago I was playing Caribbean Stud Poker at the Crystal Palace in the Bahamas. The jackpot was $360k. Everyone at the table said that if they won, they would give each player $1k and the dealer $10k. I got up to go to the bathroom and when I got back a guy hit it. It must have taken them an hour to verify everything but they paid him the money (Tax free mind you). Do you know he didn't give any of us a damn dime. I ragged on him to know end. Me getting up took out 1 hand that gave him the win. I saw him the next day and cornered him. I told him I didn't give a shit about the money but how could he stiff the dealer. He said his wife wouldn't let him pay her. That's bullshit. I pressed him more and he said, how do I know he didn't give her a tip on the side. I asked her. He never gave her shit.

Long story short, he stayed there for a month and of course gave back like $250k. You can ask just about any dealer in Atlantis that came over and they can verify that story. Now that guy was a dick. Tom Brady did that guy a solid.

Not if Tom wanted the ball himself to add to his personal trophy collection. Seems to me he REALLY wanted it. Tommy may have paid $500,000 or more for it on spot. We'll never know now will we?

I think Tom would have paid that much as he would have known it would be worth millions once it's signed by him and verified. It would have been the right business move if anything else to get that ball if anything else!!

Because BITCOIN is gonna double in a year or two from now that's why! Unless it gets regulated in the US and or in the UK much like what happened in China. I don't see that happening though anytime soon.

BITCOIN is a solid and secure investment period, it's here to stay. More and more people are investing in it and that's only driving up the price. I really bought into at it at 33,000 less then a year ago and now it's at 60,000.

I'd say that's a good return on your investment.

maybe. The fact is you don't know. It could be worth 100K or 10K someday. Nothing wrong with selling it and taking the sure thing. It would be more cash in hand than 50% of SBRers combined.

The highest I paid was $2200, I sold 3 bitcoin this year pocketing over 140K and still have a couple left. .

haha maybe maybe not. I haven't sold any BTC for a few months now. I ain't complaining. I made a huge profit already but lets be honest, there is no reason BTC price should be more a couple hundred bucks. It is what it is and insane is what it is. Again, not complaining.
