Ok, having worked for Sportsbook(and every other of the 30 something sites we do CS for), the situation is as follows in regards withdrawals:
The Withdrawals department have absolutley no idea when your withdrawals will be sent. If you are told it will be there in the next few days, that is the CS rep making something up, as told to by Management. Fact is that withdrawals are being sent out at random, they are not being sent in date order. Some customers are waiting over 2 months, while others only waited about 2 weeks.
Bank wires that are missing? Do not hold your breath on getting these anytime soon.
The standard reply that "your funds are safe" is bull, there is not one CS rep that believes this in the Dublin office.
The Dublin office will be closing its night shift support tonight as a cost cutting measure. A total of 15 staff will be let go. The company has lost many staff from the other 2 shifts, but is not replacing them. This is another failed cost cutting measure. From a normal workforce of 45 reps last year, they are now down to less than half this on a daily basis. In fact I have been reliably informed that the Dublin office has not gotten paid this month and no explanation has been given yet. This should be a good indication to all players on all sites serviced by Jazzette that this company is in serious trouble.
Management are already looking at moving the whole CS to Costa Rica in the near future.
Now we in the Dublin office agree with you, they are a complete bunch of retards(bar one or two). They couldnt tell their ass from their elbow. We are frustrated by them more than you, as we have always had to correct their mistakes and they make decent hard working, stressed out reps in Dublin look incompetent to you, the customer. The Costa Rican reps are paid the same per month what a new employee in Dublin gets in a week, and have to work 6 days a week. Another cost cutting measure.
Customer service in this company since it was bought by ***** ******(ask for him by name!!) in October '06 has become non existent. The main focus is on profits, as much as quickly as possible. Best of luck getting any issues resolved over the coming months/years.
Also, you may remember that all withdrawals were cancelled on 03/15/07. You were told this was to clear the backlog and given 5% bonus. Bull. A similar offer was made back during Football season last year, cancel your withdrawal and you will get a bonus. The reason that was done was due to the fact nearly every favorite won that weekend and the company took a massive loss of in excess of 13 million dollars. So to balance books and not declare bankruptcy, the bonus was offered. Of course, you bought the rouse.
So read between the lines! This company has known exactly how to screw you and its employees for some time, and proabably will continue to do so. Gamblers and loyal dedicated staff are easy targets!
Please go easy on the clerks you speak to on chat. They are not only doing what they are told, they have not a clue about whats going on and they have zero possibility of being able to get anything positive done. While having to answer up to 16 chats at any one time(it is now limited to 6 chats as reps walked out due to the stress), we have to lie through our teeth and take some serious flack from the customers. Some of this is deserved but remember there is absolutlely nothing that we can do to help. There are no processes in place, everythng is done on the spur of the moment. Customers tell us what is going on with the company. It is a DISGRACE!
So you all know now, I was a member of staff in the Dublin office. Believe me, this is not sour grapes, it is for your benefit only. I have simply had enough of the lies upon lies. It's about time that someone started to publicise how terrible a company this is. Bottom line... GET YOUR MONEY OUT!!!!!! DO NOT DEPOSIT EVER AGAIN!!!!!
