It seems like the only people actually getting money are small withdrawals, <$2,000. Doesn't seem like the people requesting 3, 4, or more K are getting theirs.

my 1st wire that went out on the 22nd took 13 or 14 business days so maybe they are getting better

I would hardly say they are getting better. There doens't appear to be any rhyme or reason for how they decide whose withdrawals to process. I still have withdrawals dating back to 3/29 and all they will tell me is "we'll send it out soon."

Here's the interesting thing. I requested a $1995 withdrawal on 4/18 from my sports.com account. That account was initally closed while they waited for me to send in my id. But that withdrawal still got processed on 4/26. So that request wasn't sent to the back of the line. It's only my large requests that keep getting bumped.

Probably not my business to step in here but I'm going to any way. I never, ever had a problem with sportsbook.com. Seems to me, most of you guys have placed a great deal of the blame of slow payouts on the sportsbooks. The reality of it is you should really be calling your congressmen and raising hell. They are the ones who are responsible for the delays in getting your money into your hands and in some cases losing your money altogether! We have no one to blame but ourselves as we did'nt speak loud enough to kill the bill that screws you and me!. This bill was passed with little or no resistance. (I really hate kicking myself in the balls)
Instead of daily calling the sportsbook that owes you cash, call your congressman and start asking them the tough questions such as, "why is your head so far up your ass"!!?
Why is there a tavern, two blocks away from our house, that gambling machines operate on a cash basis with no opposition from the local, state or federal government? Why is there two casino's within 60 miles of my house that operate without any hassel from the local, state or federal government? Why does the state I live in partcipate in one of biggest gambling operations in the world called the lottery, scratch offs and so on?
Here is another question we should be asking. With all the succesful sportsbook operations out there, why don't they form a coalition to benefit us all? Why don't the sportsbooks donate cash, time and effort to form one of the most powerfull lobbyist group on the planet? I'd be willing to sacrifice 1% of my deposits/or winnings to help the cause. Then maybe some of these horseshit laws would not be passed or repealed.
We are victim's of our very own U.S Congress, and so are the sportsbooks that are having problems with payouts. Believe or not, these guys are on our team. They do not like this any more then you and me. For instance, Sportsbook.com is a publically traded stock, they are a financially sound company (do some research) and it makes no sense for sportsbook,com to screw over their only source of income, you and me! Twice named the "Best US Sports Book" by the industry's top magazine (2005, 2006) the eGaming Review. Sportsbook.com has been leading the online gaming industry since 1996. As of 2005 Sportsbook.com had revenues over 3 billion dollars.
For all of you waiting for money, it will come, it will take time, but it will come.
Its a little difficult moving say, a hundred million dollars in the form of $1000.00 checks or less, wire transfers and other options. Thats about one million transactions. The average moron knows that there are not many processor's that can handle that volume and get around U.S Laws. Especially when the sportsbook has processors that suddenly pullout and a new one takes over. Do you/me understand how much time it takes tracking 1,000,000 transactions? The volume is horrific, there is no one to blame but the U.S Congress, and me and you for not doing enough to get this legislation killed before it became law.
We need to take the time and energy thats put into chats with the sportsbooks c/s, telephone calls to c/s, and to the processor's, and let our congressmen know who we are and that we are piss't off at the legislation they signed into law!
Of the gamblers that I have met, most have an above average intelligence level and can figure out what I'm trying to say with some thought.
Guy's lets start placing the blame where it belongs, the US Congress. Instead of wasting 45 minutes in a on-line chat with some jamook who's making $2.50 an hour in Costa Rica. They can in no way, shape or form, solve the problem. Instead write your congressmen a letter, or call him, and keep calling him. After all, he or she signed the bill that is causing the problems of keeping us and the sportsbooks seperated from the cash transactions that are neccesary in wagering, even though the local, state and federal governments can participate in the same gambling activity as we speak off with little or no opposition from anyone!

Now lets put our heads together. There is someone out there reading this post that has a higher I.Q then I and ( god I hope so) who has the knowledge and wisdom to get us, the sportsbooks, the investor's, organized into a political force and get these laws repealed! I'm sure there is more then one person out there who can help us get this ball rolling. Because once it's gets rolling, there is no stopping it!! We have the numbers and the cash to get this done. WHO WANTS TO LEAD THE CHARGE??!!

The anti internet gambling bill had nothing to do with a lack of opposition. It was going through no matter what, and the reason is taxes. These companies are all based off shore, so their earnings go completely untaxed by the US Government, costing it 100's of millions of dollars in tax revenue. The goal is to make internet gambling so difficult and frustrating that those that wish to gamble must go to a US brick and mortar casino, where all winnings and losses can be taxed.

Barney Frank has plans to soon introduce a bill into Congress to repeal anti-online gambling legislation that Congress passed last year.

Below you will find a link to write your local representative to urge them to support BARNEY FRANK's bill "Internet Gambling Regulation and Enforcement Act of 2007" with the following exception: A particular sport does NOT have the option of opting out of the general public's desire to wager on that sport. Lets keep this as black and white as possible. A particular sport may have regulations regarding people who are directly employed by that sport, but they do not have the right to make decisions for individuals outside of that sport.

It's in the interest's of all sports to allow the general public to wager on their games. It will bring in an increased interest in their sport that was not there before. You have to admit that allowing the general public to place wagers on a particular sport certainly will make the television ratings for that sport to increase. For instance, several years ago I had absolutely no interest in watching the Cleveland Indians on televison. However if I have a wager on that game, you can rest assured if that game is on television I'll be watching it!

Joey12345 I appreciate your support. However I think your being rather foolish about the issue. Why would sportsbooks who have been rather dependable in the past decade suddenly develope problems right after new laws have been put into effect? Don't tell me that you are that stupid. The new law's have every thing to do with whats going on.
Why certain sportsbooks have not been effected and others have, I really have no idea. Bodog has a had very good rating with SBR for sometime and they are having some problems.

Why have not certain sportsbooks made the problems more clear is because I think this has become a day to day drama. One day they have a proccesor and the next day they don't. Nobody can look into the future, with that day to day uncertainty, how can any sportsbook possibly give customers an accurate idea of a time frame of when you may or may not get your funds. Then throw into the mix that everyone is hitting that panic button and wants to withdraw their funds because of the posts on this very forum that are not very well thought out.
I did not post my comments to piss on your shoes Joey12345. However I believe the new laws have put sportsbooks and players in a serious dilemma. I don't buy into the theory that they want to screw you. From a money stand point it makes no sense. If your bringing in three billion a year why the hell would you jeopordize that? Going by my wagering history they are keeping most of three billion to boot.
All I'm trying to say is that you, me and the sportsbooks are all in the same boat. Instead of going to war with each other, lets blame the source of problem and that is US Congress!
The only answer to this problem is that we all need to walk out of this together.
