Anyway, there's a pollster out there who says Romney is going to walk in the White House. He says it's a statistically impossible for Obama to be consistently up by 5-6 pts in all the "swing" states while consistently even or even behind in national polls and cites total shenanigans by these media administered polls, oversampling Democrats.

So I would bet Romney now because once the Republican Convention gets underway it's gonna be a whole different ballgame.

Obama is toast, guys. Anyone who isn't a knee-jerk Democrat will not vote for him.

For added laughs tune into the VP debate. Biden couldn't handle Palin - now after 4 years of failure he has to face Ryan. Holy smokes.

Done. I'll take 100 points on Romney, straight up.

[I should add I have an identical bet with someone else, but I forget who it is. Not really worried, as I doubt he will get the chance to collect or show his face when he loses.]

Oh, and you might want to read this:
    http://www.businessinsider.com/democ...arolina-2012-8

In case you haven't noticed, Romney has been outraising Obama every month. (For comparison Obama outraised McCain by more than 3 to 1)

The disparity in their treasure chests to begin with makes that laughable. Romney could out raise Obama tenfold and still not be on a level playing field...

    Done indeed. GL

From benefits? $0. Oh and in case you're wondering, these supposed $500-700 billion in Medicare "cuts" that Obama made, they're the exact same "cuts" that appear in the Ryan budget(the Ryan budget also has other Medicare changes, but the same "cuts" exist in both plans.) Because the cuts aren't really "cuts" to the program at all, they're changes in reimbursement procedures for hospitals to stop overpayments and fraud.

You can argue whether or not that's a good thing or not to do, but it seems that the Republicans are being awfully hypocritical for attacking Obama for something that's in the plan that they've repeatedly passed in the House.

Oddsmakers way off on this one. No incumbent has ever been reelected with unemployment over 7% let alone 15 like we have now. The 16 trillion in debt will bury this puppet. Bye bye Barry! Go back to Kenya- It is way safer than Chicago

In March 2009 he had a 70% approval rate. Now it's 43% approval, 51% disapproval - because it's the worst economy in 70 years. Outta here.

Going by the Supreme courts decision, Intrade had 'bama care mandate being shot down as a fav. The dog won.

If Romney is the dog, I would lay money on him, from a betting point of view.

Well guys if Mitt is to win he had better change the numbers quickly, because right now the key numbers are against him. What does it matter if all the facts you guys are mentioning are true, the most important facts are the numbers in the key states. Those numbers at this time are very bad for Mitt, can he win, of course.
But, the way you guys are talking it seems like a done deal. Far from a done deal, in fact Obama at this time is the clear favorite.

    Newsweek/Gallup Poll
    July 26, 1988

Fifty-five percent of the 948 registered voters interviewed in the poll said they preferred to see Mr. Dukakis win the 1988 Presidential election, while 38 percent said they preferred to see Mr. Bush win. The poll had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points.

Dukakis wasn't an incumbent. With 4 years of vitriol, those that don't like Obama are already not going to vote for him. Basically, there are/were two paths for Mitt to choose: 1) appeal to the fickle independent, or 2) try to increase turnout by appealing to base. Mitt chose the latter, presumably because they concludeed that he couldn't do the former. Tough path.

I didn't forgot how piss poor your arguments are. I like how your counterargument to calling them supposed cuts is to simply make an emoticon and not actually respond to any of the substance of what I said which was, "...the cuts aren't really "cuts" to the program at all, they're changes in reimbursement procedures for hospitals to stop overpayments and fraud. That paltry $20 a week tax cut we get, isn't going into Medicare. Apparently it's solvent enough to cut.
