what makes lebron great is that he is near the top of scoring/assists/rebounds and wins every year.
thats very very difficult to do. u see kevin love with his ridiculous double doubles but the t-wolves cant win jack shit. if lebron was on the t-wolves he would average a triple double and be in playoff contention. u put kobe there and he will average 35-40 points a game and prolly be in playoff contention.

thats the main reason kobe is winning those rings. he can score at the end of the games. but his supporting cast is doing the rest of the work. when his supporting cast sucked, all he did was score, but the team would never have any real success.

Put Kobe in LeBron's place, and LeBron in Kobe's. The Lakers would still have those championships and the Cavs wouldn't have made the finals.

Failed to make the All-NBA teams even once in his entire Memphis career. Failed to average double digit rebounds for a season during his Grizz days. Since being traded to LA: all star every year, double digit rebounds last year and this year (despite playing with Bynum and Odom who are one of the premier rebounders in the league), even made the All-NBA third team last 2 seasons. Do you know how many Laker players credit Kobe for their improvements? His work ethic, toughness, intensity is contagious and some of these Lakers who said they improved because of Bryant include: Vujacic, Bynum, Gasol, Ariza (who has become one of the worst shooters in the past 3 decades), Brown (who was this kid before he went to LA? Kid played with Bron too...). Kobe's assists numbers could easily be much higher if he had consistent 3 point shooters around him (like MJ had, and Bron had/has). It would probably open up the lanes a bit too, making it easier for him to score.

As a Laker fan, who actually watches the game, I can tell you that Kobe doesn't always have the greatest shot selection. However, many fail to realize that some of those shots he does take is because he notices that bigs like Bynum, Gasol, or Odom have position for the offensive rebound.
