    June 22nd
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold)
Detroit Tigers -106 vs Pittsburgh Pirates -104 to win 4 units
New York Yankees -137 vs York Mets +127 to win 3 units
St. Louis Cardinals +101 vs Kansas City Royals -111 to win 3 units

Tigers are hot and I'm taking them over the Pirates pitcher for 4 units. ESPN likes the pick and we both think the win will come by rolling with the better team, the Tigers. Another great game with a great price, Mets are getting back to bottom dweller status and Yankees are showing the Mets can't hang with the elite teams. ESPN loves this pick also. It may be a dog but it is definitely the favorite to me, Cardinals are on another class to these Royals. Going bigger on all 3 time to turn the tide =p.

Busy morning / afternoon. I was going to update my record but yet again do not have enough time to do more than cap and post the picks I made today. Flat bet fading was up over +31u and I belive once I go and track it it'll be down to +25 so I'm on a nice streak the past 2 weeks picking a very high percentage of winners. 2-1 yesterday with the lone loser being the Rays.
If I can break away from todays tasks and have some time I'll do some dogs or a total later today.

    MLB Fade.... Last Second Plays:
LA Angels -165 vs LA Dodgers +155 to win 2 units
Oakland Athletics -113 vs SF Giants +103 to win 2 units

Just throwing these out there for the games about to start in 5-10 minutes.

    June 23rd
    MLB Fade....... Last Second Plays:
    St Louis Cardinals -123
vs Kansas City Royals +113 to win 4.5 units

    My thoughts contributions from espn:
I dunno about this Mendoza guy he kinda sucks. Cardinals as I said yesterday are much better. I try not to hit up teams twice in a row, not that it wouldn't work. It seems like if you get the first win you're more likely to get the next 2. This has nothing to do with that, this pick has everything to do with me and ESPN thinking the Cardinals have very little shot of losing. More like -150 here it should be to us so -123 is a treat.

Man I have another busy day somehow today, I'll get in a minute to update my record after I get some leans and picks on todays games. Was 50% yesterday 3-3 overall combined. I know my totals are 11-1-2 and my fade last second plays are in the green I've won alot of funky bets in this category(mlb last second plays).

    June 23rd
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
Cleveland Indians -107 vs Houston Astros -103 to win 4.5 units
Boston Red Sox -136 vs Atlanta Braves +126 to win 3 units
SF Giants -125 vs Oakland Athletics +115 to win 4.5 units

My thoughts on this game contributions from espn:
I don't understand the odds for a team that is such shit the Astros. Maybe this time they actually win a game, every time I bet against the Astros I win because they are so pitiful. All you have to do against them is go up by 1 homer and they won't do jack against you it seems. I think the hot streak continues I feel bad for anyone betting on the Astros. This idea the Astros suck first came about when ESPN told me they suck, so I bet against them and it turns out they really do suck. Giants are better than the Athletics though the Athletics may be hotter right now I still like the Giants here. Red Sox vs Braves this is a bit of a toss up but ESPN want me to back the Sox and at -136 I can oblige.

    Dogs of the Day:
Washington Nationals +108 vs Baltimore Orioles -118
New York Mets +136 vs New York Yankees -146
Pittsburgh Pirates +129 vs Detroit Tigers -139

Gonna run an errand then come back try an update MLB Fade Plays record and see if I got time to pick a total or not.

Another winning day yesterday. When will this heater end how did I go to pickin 32% - 50% in streaks to hitting such a high percentage of my plays. My guess is this month I'll continue to blaze it up possibly even enough to be in the green, which would naturally convince me I'm a pro at baseball capping when in reality I suck- and in the long run I'll be a loser betting baseball. Just not this month cause I'm El Fuego

    June 24th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
LA Angels -165 vs LA Dodgers +155 to win 3 units
St Louis Cardinals -141 vs Kansas City Royals to win 3.5 units

Love the cardinals pitcher. Angels are gonna whup on the Dodgers, naturally espn likes these picks. I'm sure one of these teams will win it just leaves another massive favorite to get the job done. I like these picks better than any other 2 today and those are the 2 I'm rolling with to continue this heater I am on.

Will come back and update the record today not busy today so I'll be back in the afternoon to update the damage. I've slashed into the deficit by about 7 units flat bet fading I think but I'll see the exact number later today when I update MLB fade plays record.

    Dogs of the Day:
    Cleveland Indians +108 vs
    Houston Astros -118

Didn't notice this game was starrting at 11 jotting it down as a Last Second Play, posted it like 15 minutes before the game starts. 1053am pacific posted in the original post; so it goes under last Second Plays. I really like the Cards and Angels today both seem like easy winners. Especially the Angels, Dodger game not alot of ways for the Angels to lose this one.

Milwaukee Brewers to win 3 units
St Louis Cardinals -112 vs Miami Marlins to win +102 to win 2 units
Chicago White Sox -110 vs Minnesota Twins +100 to win 3.5 units

Better pitcher, better team, espn likes it, good odds all check marks everything is a go for this one. White Sox line prolly has something to do with the trade or something players being moved. Not a big deal cause it's the Twins. I also like the Mets to beat the Cubs but not sure about the line movement in that game.

Still haven't updated the record will get to it when I feel like doing some really basic math.

    June 26th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):

LA Angels -141 vs Baltimore Orioles +131 to win 1 unit
Philadelphia Phillies -140 vs Pittsburgh Pirates +130 to win 1 unit
St Louis Cardinals -121 vs Miami Marlins +111 to win 2 units
Chicago WhiteSox -121 vs Minnesota Twins +111 to win 3.5units

Favorite pick is the Sox, also really like the Mets no way they lose twice to the Cubs especially with this pitcher 0-4. Not sure if I will play it though debating just like yesterday.

    Dogs of the day:
    Arizona Diamondbacks +124
    vs Atanta BRaves -134
Milwaukee Brewers +143 vs Cincinatti Reds -153

Yo maybe a stupid question - but on June 25th you picked Cincy and St Louis as well as the white sox. Cincy and St Louis both won, so i'm guessing you didn't stick around to watch the end of the St Louis game, or just made an honest mistake, because it says you won the cincy game, but lost the st louis game.

I missed the end of the game, nice catch. Thank you. Not stupid at all thanks =). I didn't realize until now the Cardinals won that game since I didn't go back to do the math so I didn't have to re-check.

Yet another come back for me to book another winning day. The swings from April to May and around June 11th the swings from then till now have been pretty swingy.

I'm not procrastinating updating my record just cause I've been winning I really have been busy lately. With the end of the NBA I'm not so focused on sports betting but I don't think that has any correlation on this hot streak I am on.

My only pick for the early games were the Giants and I see they are winning right now.

    June 27th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold)
LA Angels -121 vs Baltimore Orioles +111 to win 1 unit
San Diego Padres -101 vs Houston Astros -109 to win 1 unit

No games I really like today both of these feel like crap shoots thus the small unit denomination.

    Dogs of the Day:
St Louis Cardinals +122 vs Miami Marlins

Better team winning 3 in a row will be tough though but I like Cardinals.

I haven't come with a total in a while, I will probably lose my next one especially after taking a break. I can only attribute the my 12-1-2 or was it 11-1-2 start to the A) luck or B) I've been doing alot of boxscore watching since April I just kept picking teams who can't score and through luck they didn't score and that resulted in such a fine record. None of that point buying was relevant only 1 time did I push the rest of the times the games went under regardless of the extra point I bought.

From April until my last MLB total pick( I believe it was right around the end of the nba season), I was watching the NBA games while checking up on the MLB boxscore. Right after NBA season ended I pretty much shut it down and have been busy lately that's why I didn't come with anymore totals. So I expect this next pick to even more likely be a loser, that's my thinking at least.

    June 26th:
    MLB totals:
    Colorado Rockies UNDER 4.5 -105 / o4.5 is -115 to win 1 unit

Angels look to be hot and I might be on them at the right time to continue my winning streak. Astros I don't wanna play but they will likely win may as well make a unit from it. Again both games feel kind of like crap shoots but I like the Angels a bit more thus the small unit denominations.

    Dogs of the Day:
    Chicago White Sox +170 vs
    NY Yankees -180
New York Mets +116 vs LA Dodgers -126

    MLB Totals:
Texas Rangers vs Oakland Athletics Over 11 -120 / u11 +100 to win 1.5 units
Cleveland Indians vs Baltimore Orioles UNDER 10 -158 / o10 is +148 to win 1.5u
    (not buying pts: under 9 -110 / o9 -110)

I am 10 games above .500 picking totals this month and my prediction is that by the end of July I'll be back to .500 or below .500 and no longer 10 games above .500. I'm taking off the cuffs and allowing myself to pick OVERS so let's see how this goes.

Just keeping the odds here with the wins and losses that way I can easily go back with a calculator and update the record sometime this week.

No time for totals today and all the Fade Plays I like so rather than going big on 1 or 2 I separated the units a bit and went with more picks today.

I think it'll be tough to take 2(err make that 3- no wait- DOH!) in a row Angels aren't exactly the most consistent though they have been hot recently. Gonna come with the later games, well... later =p(shortly after this post).

Wasn't going to even pt up the Nationals Strasburg and that team feel like a lock. Then I liked the Phillies also feels like two winners in a row and what ever I'll just post all my picks for today. First 2 look like locks so 3 units each, Diamondbacks and their pitcher vs this guy with no face on ESPN kind of like my avatar. Red Sox to get it done again for a small amount to close out the day.

    MLB Fade...... Last Second Plays:
Colorado Rockies -123 vs San Diego Padres to win 1 unit

Feels like a crap shoot but I haven't picked one in the last half hour before the start of a game in a wihle so I'll throw this out there. Also wanted to play the Cubs and Cardinals today and those two would have split but both were huge chalk and I didn't feel like laying - minus what ever it was on the Cubs.

Giants and Cain, Phillies and Hamels, Nationals and Strasburg- you'd think I could pick up a win betting one of these pitchers but all three let me down this week.

    MLB Fade Plays
    July 1st:
Atlanta Braves -106 vs Washington Nationals -104 to win 1 unit
San Francisco Giants -140 vs Cincinatti Reds +130 to win 2 units
Cleveland Indians -111 vs Baltimore Orioles +101 to win 1 unit

The two 1 unit bets feel like they'll be too close. I think the Braves edge the Nationals today. Giants I think get the win maybe not confident enough to yell lock I give the Reds a chance just looks like all the teams I've picked will rebound today. I think I only lose one of these at most in three close contested games.

    Dogs of the Day:
Kansas City Royals +122 vs Minnesota Twins -132
    Detroit Tigers +108 vs

I was gonna put this up as 45 before the game started as -110 but waited and now it's -120 oh well. No one gets to see these till after the games have started but I like to throw em out there.

If you've read my picks you could probably guess I'd be playing the Angels today. Battle of the losing pitchers with this Detoit game. Who is going to **** it up for my fade tracker today? I bet it's going to be the Tigers because I see no way they don't outhit the Twins onto a victory today. Angels was going to be a medium sized play- but backing this pitcher who is 8-1 it has to be a bigger play than that and at amazing odds no less. I don't understand the good odds for the Orioles an Angels but that's not enough to dissuade me from playing either of these 2 teams. Matter of fact it's encouragement. I really like the Blue Jays over the Royals but I'm not sure about that one Blue Jays can go on scoring droughts in my eyes- and at -152 the Royals could edge out a win. This Romero 7-2 really makes me want to play the Blue Jays also though. Debating making this Angels pick my first 5 unit play. Angels are on another level, we got a great pitcher, everything says Angels will roll.

    Dogs of the Day:
    Cincinatti Reds -105 vs
    LA Dodgers -105

(ml is +150 / -160, though I'd play the Blue Jays ml here)
Toronto Blue Jays +2.5 Runline -315 vs Royals -2.5 +259 to win 1 unit

Yankees shouldve been a dog earlier I somehow didn't see that game, saw all the rest cept for that one till after I posted. These are a lot but it's really only a burden to me cause I'm gonna have to be the one to go back and sort this out later when I record it.

Was gonna put up the Red Sox as a double dog and MLB Fade play(listed as both categories), but I decided not to. Doesn't matter to me I just think it's funny. Funny why? Just funny....... Oh and last, that donk bet Blue Jays and Royals- thought I'd win 2 easy units looks like it backfired and I dropped 2u in the process.

    July 3rd:
    MLB Fade Plays
Washington Nationals -126 vs San Fransisco Giants +116 to win 1.5 units
LA Angels -112 vs Cleveland Indians +102 to win 3.5 units
Detroit Tigers -156 vs Minnesota Twins +146 to win 2 units

Originally was going to be to win 2 on the Nationals but at the last second I changed my mind both teams are too good for 2 units on either. Angels was originally a 3 unit play but I decided to add a half a unit(the half I deducted from the Nationals). So originally was 2-3-2 now it's 1.5-3.5-2. Had a last second change of heart, usually if given a bit of extra time I find my decision making is a bit better we'll see if it matters at all. Just pointing it out.

Thoughts on the games contributions from espn:
I dunno about this long haired skinny kid Lincecum, Cy young shmy young. That is in the past, I don't get alot of chances to play the Nationals. Seems like it's always against a winning team but they pull out the win anyway. Comin' back with the Angels to whup on this team again. Odds get even better but the teams stay the same. Must be my lucky day. Tigers and Twins, well Tigers fumbled it again- I really don't want to post this pick. I think they will easily come back and win this game- zig zag so to speak. ESPN clearly thinks they are the better team, like yesterday- but with the power of the zig zag I don't even wanna post this play. Why is it not the highest unit denomination if its the lock out of the 3? The angels are better than the Indians, much better odds, better team- need I say more?

    Dogs of the Day:
Texas Rangers +123 vs Chicago White Sox -133
Baltimore Orioles +134 vs Seattle Mariners -144

Was going to just be the Rangers but Orioles are too good odds to pass up. Who cares about 1 pitcher, the other team has to score too ya know. If I was putting unit denominations Orioles would definitely be a big play.

    MLB Fade...... Last Second Plays:
Milwaukee Brewers -109 vs Miami marlins -101 to win 1 unit

Was gonna put this up as -105 but it changed within the hour as odds usually do before the start of a baseball game. I just think the Brewers will take it again, at home with their shitty pitcher the brewers will edge out the marlins. Don't think too highly of either teams but ESPN leads me to believe the Brewers own this Marlins team so to speak and that's good enough for me. The surge the Brewers have been on lately also helps.

Just keep stacking these late plays so I can log them yesterday Diamondbacks should have been a last second play making me 1-1 rather than 1-0, I might come with a fullcard in an hour have an errand to run.

Mmm, a bit of a crap shoot but series sweeps seem irrelevant. Rays own the Yankees at home, and Price is pitching really well vs the Yankees. This is a sharp play isn't it? Looks sharp to me. Will come with the remainder of the card shortly.

MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold)
Cincinatti Reds -135 vs LA Dodgers +125 to win 2 units

Injury riddled Dodgers are going to have a tough time winning this game. I like the Reds here and so does ESPN. The other games are all not appealing enough today.

    Dogs of the Day:
    Kansas City royals +139 vs
    Toronto Blue Jays -149
Chicago Cubs +160 vs Atlanta Braves -170

Baltimore Orioles +2.5 Runline -355 vs Seattle Mariners +295 to win 1 unit
Oakland Athletics +2.5 Runline -290 vs Boston Red Sox +245 to win 1 unit

Orioles are the better team, Orioles can keep it close. Red Sox find themselves in close games all too often gotta hit 2 and that's what I aim to do with those 2 picks.

Good odds on the +2.5 allows me to play it for 2 units. The rain delay allows me to get the pick in =p.

Edit: Oh and I checked the three early games didn't like any of them as MLB Fade Plays will come with the rest of the card shortly.

San Fransisco Giants -119 vs Washington Nationals +109 to win 1 unit

The Pittsburgh pick is a result of the Astros sucking so bad. Pirates aren't nearly as terrible and that is why they will get the job done. Reds pick- pitching advantage, great odds, better team, opposing team sucks. Only con is a road trip I presume not sweating it. Might be a close game but I think the Giants and their ace come through vs the Nationals. Lost yesterday to the hot bats of Washington but the Nationals will revert to their low scoring ways and I think the Giants will edge the win here. None of these games scream bet me big so these are the denominations for today.

    Dogs of the Day:
Chicago Cubs +130 vs Atlanta Braves -140
Baltimore Orioles -1.5 Runline -160 vs LA Angels -1.5 +140

Orioles are the dog in the game I don't know if they will win but for sure think they will keep it close, hopefully don't get screwed kind of juicy. Orioles are a +131 dog.

What if, just for kicks, you find a "first five" game every day too?

You mean first five innings of a game? So how many do you want me to pick 1 or more? I have thought about it but I don't want to have another category where I continuously go on 3 game win streaks like Last second Plays. I suppose I could do it, or I could back test my original MLB Fade Plays and see how they do in the first 5 innings.

I tried that when I was trying to figure out a way to fade myself and keep it to 1 fade play at a time, and by playing 5 inning I could do that by spacing out the games. I had a small sample I think of about 15-20 games through 5 days the results were 50% for some reason I decided to drop doing the picks- no good reason other than I couldn't figure out how to properly 'cap' the first 5 innings. It was coming down to just guessing what pitcher I would take in the first 5 over the other.

"I suppose I could do it, or I could back test my original MLB Fade Plays and see how they do in the first 5 innings." I'll back test 10 games right now, tiny sample:
    July 4th:Reds/Dodgers Loss
    July 3rd:Tigers/Twins I win
    Angels/Indians I lose
    Nats/Giants I win
    July 2nd:
    Angels/Indians I win
    Tigers/Twins I lose
    Orioles/Mariners I win
    MLB Fade Plays
    July 1st:
    Braves/Nationals -104 I lose
    Giants/Cincinatti Reds Push
    Indians/ Orioles I lose

It might be that I'm the one making the picks but I find my most predictable picks are the Fade plays, if you look alot of my 'serious'(not the pregame write up ones) predictions have been pretty on point so far except for that streak I had to end out June- that's what I'm trying to avoid. But in general the results over the course(from beginning of April till now) have been steady enough in my opinion.

Edit: If anyone has a certain set of 'guidelines' they think would be difficult for me to pick winners under feel free I'll give a crack at that just for fun =). Any set guidelines I have to follow or avoid(like dogs favs, etc.) while making picks.

By the way what just happened in the 8th innin of this Detroit game . Will the Twins be able to make a come back or at least cut into this lead by 1 run? I think they got at least 1 score in them =p in this last inning to not suffer another 2.5 RL defeat.
Ah, crap make that 7-3 Tigers lead, gonna need 2 runs now.

Maybe just take one of your daily "fade plays" and play it as "first five" also. The one with the most juice?

Now that things have turned around I'm not gonna lie I want to find the time to update my MLB Fade Play record and more than likely will. Interesting that the unhappy people come out during a streak they dislike(hot or cold, hot in my case), but you can do 4x that before and even make it back after and not a peep. The quieter the better though seems to be the best way .

I have an errand to run will come with todays card. Will the streak continue or will I bounce back with a much needed winning day.

Allow me to recap, it takes a special person to go 0-2, 0-1, and 0-1 with Cain, Strasburg, and Hamels at the mound. Look at the win losses of Cain, and notice I've picked up 2-3 of those losses. Anyone else making that claim? Winning betting against Cain, Hamels, and Strasburg(I'm even with Stras I picked up a win earlier in the season). You get these pitchers with over 75% win percentage and I somehow manage to turn that into a below 33% winning percentage betting on those guys. Oh and before I go I can proudly say I'm still the best documented fade on the forum. Crushing Lang and Hondo who are mediocre fades and have been since January of this year.

    July 6th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
    Atlanta Braves -121 vs
Philadelphia Phillies to win 2 units
Texas Rangers -150 vs Minnesota Twins to win 1 unit

My thoughts on the games contributions from espn.
Rangers look like the lock if not for this faceless starting pitcher it'd be 2-3 unit play. Braves I think are gonna pull it out vs the Phillies good odds might be a close game but I don't have much faith in this Kendrick. I can see the Braves winning a low scoring game.
Might come with the 7pm eastern games around 5pm but that statement is doubtful.

    Dogs of the Day:
Texas Rangers -1.5 Runline +125 vs Minnesota Twins +1.5RL -145
Arizona Diamondbacks +101 vs LA Dodgers -111
Baltimore Orioles +1.5 Runline -130 vs LA Angels -1.5 +110

Thought about playing the Orioles moneyline but I'll go with something more 'lockish' =p. Instead of going for the long shot +180 win I'll go for something much more reasonable.

First Five Innings "Drive to Survive":
    Texas Rangers -150 vs
Minnesota Twins to win 2 units

Solid pick I t hink this is a definite sure fire winner. 2nd pick would be: -.5 rl Nationals -140. So you asked for only 1 pick and that's what I'm coming with whtsox- I will be jotting this down uner the previous category I was using for first 5 innings in this thread. This is what you asked for right?
