    July 27th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
Detroit Tigers +107 vs Toronto Blue Jays -117 my risk 1.5 units
Oakland Athletics -102 vs Baltimore Orioles to win 1 unit
Pittsburgh Pirates -156 vs Houston Astros +146 to win 2.5 units
Seattle Mariners -115 vs Kansas City Royals +105 to win 1 unit

I'm not gonna lie I'm ready to pack it in and give up on this thread. Though, somewhere in here I made a commitment to post my picks for the entire season so I'll continue to do that.

1st 5 Innings Drive to Survive:
    SF Giants -.5 Runline -120
vs +.5 RL LA Dodgers +100

Great pitcher Dodgers still slumping and on the road. Smells like lock cheese. And these are my favorite picks for today.

    July 26th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold)
    St. Louis Cardinals -132 vs
La Dodgers +122 to win 1 unit I win
Pittspurgh Pirates -156 vs Houston Astros +146 to win 3 units I win

Dodgers struggle to score and the Cardinals do not. Dodgers are slumping it's really that simple. I would like to put the Athletics but ESPN likes the Blue Jays to edge out a close game. I like the Athletics here the only thing bothering me is having to win 3 in a row in this spot, but other than that I like the Athletics to also win. Not gonna put it up as a pick too many things cloud my mind with the Athletic game. Looks like 2 more winners, Pirates with their ace vs the other guy. Don't even wanna post this it's that easy the Pirates.

    Dogs of the Day:
    Washington Nationals +116 vs
    Milwaukee Brewers -126 I win

1st 5 Innings "Drive to Survive":
Pittsburgh Pirates -.5 Run Line -120 vs Houston Astros +.5 RL +100 to win 2 unitsI win
Detroit Tigers -165 vs Cleveland Indians +155 to win 1 unit I lose
Arizona Diamondbacks -.5 Run Line -125 vs New York Mets +105 to win 1 unit I lose

MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
Washington Nationals -138 Milwaukee Brewers +128 to win 2 units
LA Angels -160 vs Tampa Bay Rays +150 to win 1 unit
Cleveland Indians -125 vs Minnesota Twins +115 to win 1.5 units

Angels are the better team and come into this game with more momentum and confidence especially with their acquisition of Greinke. Nationals are a better team and Zimmerman is I think a better pitcher than Wolf, also Nationals are a reliable team. Indians just got thumped 11-0, I like these spots because I look for the better team to bounce back and show that the 11-0 game was a fluke. Just like when the Orioles lost 10-1 to the Rays then came back to win 6-2 the next game, I didn't go with the orioles there- but I wanted to. Similar spot here and I don't want to miss it this time. Interesting angle I think it works for me for the Indians game.

    Dogs of the Day:
San Diego Padres +121 vs Miami Marlins -131
Philadelphia Phillies +118 vs Atlanta Braves

1st 5 Innings "Drive to Survive"

St. Louis Cardinals -147 vs Chicago Cubs +137 to win 2 units
LA Dodgers -108 vs SF Giants -102 to win 1 unit

Cardinals are my team, just like fading the Astros is my thing. Dodgers have shown they have a definitive advantage in my two losses picking against them and I think with the momentum they have built against this team they sweep the series. Alot of series sweep possibilities today so I'm staying away from most of the games but the odds are good enough to play the Dodgers here.

ESPN likes the Twins here, and just look at the odds Indians should be the favorite thus bolstering my confidence in this pick.

MLB 1st 5 Innings "Drive to Survive":
Washington Nationals -150 vs Milwaukee Brewers +135 to in 3 units
Cincinatti Reds -120 -.5 Runline vs Colorado Rockies +.5 Runline +100 to win 1 unit

Going back to the Nationals. Gonzalez one of the best pitchers so far this year is gonna get it done. Easy pick, some of them are too unquestionable and this is one of those. Reds pick is too easy Rockies are playing terrible right now.

Dodgers are getting great odds vs a team they've lost to 5 times in a row in a with divisional race implications. Dodgers are the better team, Upton is injured, ESPN thinks this is a coinflip- Dodgers are at home. Almost all of my picks are ESPN approved but this one really stands out so despite not being an overwhelming favorite I think the Dodgers will win today. Overwhelming favorites for a reason vs a team they are much better than and they lost yesterday so they'll come with extra motivation. Nothings changed I feel pretty bad but I felt like adding a bit of my opinion in there with the picks.

St. Louis Cardinals -152 vs Colorado Rockies to win 1 unit
Texas Rangers -117 vs LA Angels +107 to win 2 units

My favorite pick is the Cardinals but keeping it small cause they won yesterday. A team like this vs the Rockies... clearly mising their chance to win yesterday. I think the Cardinals got this. All the picks look solid, no time to review- Cardinals saved a terrible day yesterday. These 3 look real solid though.

1st 5 Innings "Drive to survive":
    Washington Nationals -109 v
s Philadelphia Phillies 106 to win 2 units

Don't have anything I like really strong for 1st 5 innings, as gonna take the day off with this category. Assuming I didn't this would be the pick for sure.

Good luck to you Hector. I don't know if it's a good thing when your picks align with mine but with me making them every day it is bound to happen. Hopefully yesterday went well for you Hector.

    MLB Fade Plays:

Had a write up accidently pressed back and deleted it =\. 5 pm and evening games interest me most today.Original amount as Cardinals 2, Giants 2 Dodgers 1- but after some thought I had a change of heart and like this much better.

I'm not surprised the Rockies lost. Fading the Rockies and the Astros has been money. As far as the Cubs go, they were hot for a little while sure. Well, a shit team like the Cubs doesn't stay hot forever. Looks like they are entering a losing streak and that is no surprise with a team that is as shitty as the Cubs. Dodgers were in a great spot after dropping 3 in a row at home, they got the Cubs coming into town yesterday. For this reason I grudgingly post my picks when I'm opposite the Rockies and the Astros. Both teams go out and do what they do best, lose.

One thing I would like to make clear MLB Fade Plays is still down more $ in this thread than Brandon Lang this year. When I started this thread I wanted to compare and contrast, my standard bet is the 1 unit- Langs standard bet is the 10 dimer. LTA's standard bet was the 1 unit. So it looks like Lang had to pack it in for a while, hopefully he comes back even with that 14 game losing streak he's still not down more units / 10 dimers than me in MLB =). Math folks. Lately my Fade Plays have been on a bit of a heater though, and with Lang not around to pick up a couple wins after dropping 14 in a row hopefully I don't keep winning =p.

MLB Last Fade...... Last Second Plays:
Seattle Mariners +137 vs New York Yankees -147 my risk 1 unit

Will come with the rest of the card in a bit.

MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
Texas Rangers -150 vs Kansas City Royals +140 to win 2 units

It's unusual for me to come with just 1 pick I stopped being selective over a month ago. Just put up all of my favorites. I thought about the White Sox game, Angels coming in with their bad looking pitcher. Wanted to go with the Sox but I know the Angels are gonna in one of these games couldn't pick the Sox. None of the other games interested me either. Not much to say other than the Rangers are clearly the better team.

    Dogs of the Day:
Cleveland Indians +180 vs Detroit Tigers -190
Pittsburgh Pirates +116 vs Cincinatti Reds -126

1st 5 Innings "Drive to Survive":
Toronto Blue Jays +.5 Runline +100 vs Oakland Athletics -.5 Runline -120 to win 1 unit
Atlanta Braves -.5 Runline -140 vs Houston Astros +.5 Runline +120 to win 1 unit

Was tough narrowing it down. It came don to the Blue Jays being a solid enough team to hold it with the Athletics. Romero hopefully won't be as bad as last time. Braves are the vastly superior team making this an easy pick. The rest of the 1st 5 innings picks all seemed like coin flips. If I absolutely had to come with a third pick it would be Cubs +1/2 Runline +140 my least favorite and also seems like a bit of a flip.

Admittedly, that was an assumptive comment I made there. Last time I checked on July 19th I was: 103L-86W +32.76 units flat bet fading. Down even more fading to my amount(but that is swingy as hell, huge unit shifts). Since July 19th MLB Fade Plays has been on a heater 33-17 bringing bringing my record to 119W-120L which would bring me right around the -190 dimer mark and when Lang quit he was down 190 dimes(19 units is equal to 190 Lang dimes). A true Lang comparison would be comparing to my amount bet and I don't have that update for you, sorry. Comparing to Lang after 07/29 is a bit mute though he isn't making picks anymore.

Flat bet fading is what I use to gauge how I am doing overall, and compare with other baseball cappers like LTProfits ho only bets the 1 unit period. A more accurate comparison beteen me and Lang would be the unit amount which I am down more units(betting to my set amounts) in but I have not gone back to check to be sure.

    August 5th:
    MLB Last Second Plays:
Cincinatti Reds -114 vs Pittsburgh Pirates +104 to win 1 unit

Changing the name of this category keeping the record, I don't drop enough games unless I'm playing something loopy like a 2.5 runline. What is with all the high priced game today -200s all over the place. Bookies trying to win some money =p.

St. Louis Cardinals -173 to vs
Milaukee Brewers +163 to win 2 units
LA Dodgers -181 vs Chicago Cubs +171 to win 1 unit

So much chalk today I thought about taking the day off. Nothing I liked in the morning game, only game I like today are the Cardinals like yesterday it as just the Rangers. I anticipate winning both of these games, Dodgers are in a groove and ill probably sweep the series. If I happen to lose that one the Cardinals, the 'lock', will at least put me in the green for the day.

1st 5 Innings "Drive to Survive":
St. Louis Cardinals -.5 Runline -120 vs Milaukee Brewers +.5 Runline +100 to in 2 units

This is my absolute favorite pick of the day none of the other games come close. It's gonna happen too easy. No dogs I really liked for today.

    August 6th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
    Atlanta Braves -112 vs
Philadelphia Phillies +102 to win 1 unit
Cleveland Indians -119 vs Minnesota Twins +109 to win 1 unit
LA Angels -150 vs Oakland Athletics +140 to in 2 units

Braves are the better team with something to play for. Phillies couldn't play good hen they were above .500 with these kinds of odds I must be on the right team. Indians are losers of their last 9 out of 10, and now they are coming home vs the Twins. A losing team playing better lately, as we know losing teams don't play good forever. The Indians ill win this game, and if they happen to lose you can go back to them tomorrow cause they won't lose 2 in a row to the Twins. Losing streaks end, and Indians are gonna end this one. Angels are a much better hitting team, with a better pitcher at mound.

    Dogs of the Day:
Cincinatti Reds +125 vs Milwaukee Brewers -135

You would think the Giants would have a spot here at +101. Just not liking that game for the full duration.

1st 5 Innings "Drive to Survive":
SF Giants +.5 Runline -140 vs St. Louis Cardinals -.5 Runline +120 to win 1.5 units
Chicago Cubs +.5 Runline -125 vs San Diego Padres -.5 Runline to win 1 unit
Atlanta Braves -115 vs Philadelphia Phillies to in a .5 unit

    August 7th:
MLB Fade Plays(my picks are in bold):
    Texas Rangers +101 vs
Boston Red Sox -111 my risk 2 units
Cleveland Indians -103 vs Minnesota Twins -107 to win 1 unit
Philadelphia Phillies -137 vs Atlanta Braves +127 to win 1 unit

Rangers are good enough for a unit amount just slightly the dogs but I like this game in favor of the Rangers quite a bit. Phillies are an on and off team for me, and I think they will have what it takes to get the W today.

Reds, great odds, good pitcher, etc. Easy pick. Dodgers are a very easy pick too, Rockies aren't gonna in the 1st 5 vs the Dodgers twice in a row- it's that simple. I do the same thing I do for every category but since I picked this one up it's really been in a funk.
