With the way Murray played today, there's no way he's ousting either of Rafa or Novak in a semifinal, let alone even making it that far. Doesn't seem matchfit at all to me, perhaps he'll build into the Australian. For my best money he won't be ready for the Australian. Rafa and Novak for another prolonded final

what u think about Wawrinka against Murray? Murrary rarely shows up to exhibitions and if you say he is rusty...

I too was close to taking this but decided not to. Panova has been playing pretty well lately so wasn't worth it considering the odds (my book was only @1.65ish)

I like Wawrinka considering Murray's comeback from injury but to be honest, Wawrinka isnt one to show up in exhibition games either so might just give it a miss altogether but would go with him if any bet at all.

    Wow.

Just woke up to the Piter result.

That's an absolute massive shock, an absolute massive shock, I cannot believe my eyes. 3 and 4.

    What form was Panova showing?

A brief challenge for Vinci in the Fed Cup?

Yeah, Murray and Wawrinka is all guess work tbh, Andy's not fully fit and match sharp and Wawrinka isn't one to play well early season.

Big names in meaningless games. Stay away. lol We saw what he did against Tsonga yesterday.

I tell you though, that result is astonishing, watching Piter at the end of last season, in Luxemberg and then this result. Really believed she was the real deal and thought she'd grind Panova down. Straight sets though?

Woeful tennis association. Really is a different sport. Will think twice before I throw so much on a WTA match. Gutted.

Down to 9 units something for the thread, will do the sums later, licking my bloody wounds currently.

Piter was one of my top picks too. They both were horrible..Panova was less horrible i guess .. typical WTA match.

No stakes over 5 units on the ladies, until the slam or premier events, or unless extremely confident. Saw this as incredible value so jumped on. The fact she lost in straight sets proves how quickly a player's form can turn at the lower level in WTA.

    WTA Hopman

Penneta vs Radwanska Over 19 games @1.71 with Pinnacle
    (Using 5 units)

Just simply can't see how Radwanska wins this comfortably. She typically struggles against solid baseliners with decent weight on their shot. Penneta's controlled aggressive style will trouble Radwanska for holding serve. Radwanska has a toddler's serve as it is, essentially a ball just to start the rally off. Penneta will be ready to pounce on these weak serves and prepared at the net for Aga's lobs when tracking those sweetly struck returns down.

I don't see Radwanska holding serve easily, at all. She rarely holds serve 3 times in a set, even against player's weaker than Penneta, so for us not to see a tiebreak or 7-5's, we are going to need her to break Penneta every single time and hold serve one time and that is a lot to be asking for from a player that relies on touch, feel, flair and counterpunching. Too reliant on absorbing the pace of shots.

Penneta showed good tennis in the tail end to last season and if she plays half decent here should push Aga.

The Penneta ML is actually value, as is set handicap but @1.71... 19 games is pretty inviting.

Could work, I feel safer on the 19 line though, Radwanska is unlikely to get thrashed either.

I am wise enough not to tail you for the full nine units, but you're going to get people into a lot of serious trouble by suggesting a play like this unless you know something dodgy is going to take place.

I genuinely feel for you losing that much coin in one match. I hope no one else risked that amount of coin on the outcome of this match.
How do you know he spent a lot of "coin" on the match? All I could tell was he spent a lot of units.

Up 2 sets to 0 and 5-1 3rd set to lose the game in 5 sets. Seen something like this a few times in the past few years haha.

I remember a match between Venus Williams and Justine Henin 7-8 years ago. Venus was up 5-0 30-0 ... 30 min later the score was 7-5 3-0 Henin. Sh*t happens it's sport.

Match meant nothing to Flavia and she was rushing between first and second serves and moaning whenver she missed break-points and 0-30 leads. 20 degree heat and didn't care. Radwanska, professional and fully focused for the match.

Classic Ferrer vs Wawrinka from this week here, the more professional player stroles it. Not that Penneta would have beaten her in a none exho event, but that was disgraceful.

    0/6 break-points first set.

    Adding

    ATP Hopman

Milos Raonic to beat Bernard Tomic @1.5 (Using 5 units)

Tomic is a problem child and if it were not for the soul home advantage, would be even more underdog here. He's shown absolutely no signs of improvement and is still very much vastly overrated in my eyes. The hot conditions will favour the bigger server.
