I just got back on the site. I don't know if the match has started yet. Should be a close one or 3 sets. Depends on how Muller is serving. He has that huge lefty serve. If he has it, Schwank is in trouble. I do know that BOTH players should get a good ammount of break chances today, so the match could swing up & down. I just can't ever bet on Schwank after I saw him get booed off the court for lack of effort. I stayed away from this one bec I could see an upset if Schwank was favored.

Update for Play #2: Tsonga was just plain terrible. For being a top ranked pro in the world, he sure does play some crappy matches from time to time. Just my luck to catch him when he played pathetic. I never saw Haas beating a top 10 player in the world. Tsonga only won 38 points & was off the court in less than one hour. Play #2 is a loss

Thank you for your input but as soon as that Tsonga match turned to shit I stopped. Shows what you can do on the court if you have an actual plan of attack . Its onto baseball for me at this point. gl

****Was put in on girls phone, so I couldn't post it or do write up. I do want to include it in my thread bec I am tracking ALL my tennis plays here for the year. It was a small payout, so its not going to make a difference hardly at all. I just want to keep my personal record/stats in order. That was the whole reason I started this thread. And I figured if I could help some people along the way with picks or give them information they can use on their own.......then even better.

Update for Play #1: Well, I am a little surprised to say the least. Cipolla was the first true test for de la Nava this week & I guess he didn't play all that well. I really thought Cipolla had a good draw to some damage this week.......guess I thought wrong. There was an AMAZING 35 break points in this match!!! Cipolla fought off 16 break points, but got broken 6 times!! De la Nava saved 9 out of 13 break points! I didn't see the match, but the stats look like a WTA event!!!!! I'm not sure what to say here...........
First leg came in, Cipolla did not, he lost 4-6 4-6. Play #1 is a loss

    Play #3 - CASH IT

Gasquet blew out Lorenzi 6-1, 6-1. I was wondering if Lorenzi would push Gasquet bec he has won so many matches this year & done very well on the Challanger level. But that success on that level did not make a difference. Gasquet beat Lorenzi down easy. Ouch is all I can say for Lorenzi, Gasquet was playing really really good the first set I saw.
Haase was down 2-5 in the first set. He got it all the way back to 5-5 and then lost the next two games to drop the opening set. I thought at this point, he might be finished & my day was looking rough! But he caught a gear and didn't hold back the next two sets, winning those rather comfortably. So Haase wins in 3 sets, 5-7 6-4 6-2.

****All in all, a wacky day for me!! I had the two one unit wagers pending from yesterday & both of those came in for us. Then I proceeded to lose BOTH my one unit plays today early on! Only had one loss on both! One ticket, the huge fav losses to crash it. On the next, the better odd exp player losses to crash it. Then I throw one more play in while I'm at my sons field day real fast & although the payout was terrible, it came in. So I will update my daily record & overall record below.

I am kind of pissed about today, we could of had a decent winning day if only ONE of those two parlay losses would of come in. As always, BOL in your other sports today & tonight!!!

I thought I could of done way better than losing almost half a unit! I am hoping to find some good plays later tonight. Will prob post in 3 hours or so. BOL to all of us.

Rufin had a good days rest yesterday by only playing that last set of this continued match. Fatigue should not be a factor here. Rufin made it thru qualites in Monte Carlo & lost to Kohlschriber close. Then next tment, he made it thru qualies again at Nastase, and lost a close 3 setter to Seppi. He usually wins the matches he is supposed to & plays the much better players on tour very well. His opponent, Albot, has done better in doubles lately on the Challanger level than singles. He lost last tment in first round to Schoorel. The tment before that, he lost first round to Brown. This was his first win in singles main draw in over a month. He will have a tough match today facing Rufin. I expect Rufin to win this match & move into the next round.
Tomic has been winning slightly more matches this year than not. The last tment, he lost to Montanes in a tough 3 setter. The tment before that, he lost second round again to Dolgopolov in 3 sets. He looked really good yesterday against Rochus. He had 9 aces & only had to face 3 break points, holding two of those. If he serves well, his groundies looked solid, he will be tough to beat today. His opponent, Starace, beat a qualifier yesterday in a close two setter. The last tment, he made it to the 3rd round. He had a walkover on Bags & he beat Chardy who was playing horrible that tment, which is why he is playing challangers this week. He lost to Balazas fairly routinely in straights. The tment before that, he had a walkover in Berlocq and played Almagro tough in one set. He got blown out in the other. I don't think Starace has a dream draw here. He will need to bring his A game for sure to make this a good match. If he does not, and Tomic is playing well again today, he could lose in straights here easy. This will either be a Tomic victory from start to finish or it will be a close match. Either way, I will take Tomic for the price we are getting & I feel confident he can move into the next round and maybe make a run here this week.

Farah has been in very good form lately. Especially on the clay. He has a 10-2 record in the last 21 days, all on clay. He rolled ev1 in qualies this week & pretty much tore apart Davydenko the other day in the first round. He made the third round & lost to Nadal, winning 4 matches last week. He made the quarterfinals the week before, losing to Ramirez-Hidalgo in a very tight third set. He has won 4 matches already this week & I expect him to bring a lot of game today to try to keep advancing in these main draws. His opponent, Matosevic, would definetly prefer to play on hard court. He also got thru qualies this week & beat Kukushkin yesterday in straight sets. The first was very close & the second set was not, maybe Kukus threw in the towel there. Clay is def not his best surface either. The tment before this, Matosevic lost to Strode in his first match at a Challanger event. The tment before that he struggled as well in the first round. He has found some good play this week, but I think that stops here. Farah will be his toughtest challange by far & I look for Farah to win this match in straights I hope to keep his good form going this month.
Ramos is a super tough, clay specialist, lefty from Spain. He has been playing really well this year, holding a 11-5 record over the last six weeks or so. He made it to the 3rd last week & the finals in Hassan (2 of his last 3 tments). His opponent, Phau, I saw play in Houston. He has good solid groundies, he hits it very hard. But he can be suspect to completely getting blown out. If he is off on a day, he can be really off! This is evident by getting blown out by Berlocq in Houston, by Verdasco at the Sony. He lost to Reynolds two weeks ago and Ramos is on a different level than Reynolds by FAR on clay. He did beat a 30 something year old Gil yesterday, but he will be tested to the max today playing a very fiery, in form Ramos. I look for Ramos to get through today in straight sets & move into the next round.

Had planned on playing a Rosol Niemmenen parlay today. If Rosol plays like his last match he will go far and Niemenen is a pretty safe bet all things considered, any advice would be great. BOL today.

I looked at Nieminen today for the last match. The odds concerned me, but when I looked up the stats the last few weeks I might see a good play here. Jarko would prefer to play on hard court for sure. He did make it to the thrid round last week & lost to Lopez F pretty bad. In Monte Carlo, he barely beat Stepanek & then lost to Nadal. A lot of his game revolves around his serve. This will be his first match this week, so hard to judge how he is gonna be serving. Veic on the other hand, has won 9 matches in a row! I didn't know that till I just looked it up. He blew out Kavcic yest, which shows he is confident & playing well. Why? Bec he played Kavcic a few weeks ago and won in a close 3 setter. Yest he flat out torched him. But, Jarko presents a different challange bec he is a full time ATP player (better serves and groundies). If Jarko plays well, he will win. If he slacks a bit or serves crappy, Veic could possibly steal this match. I am still thinking about this one......I will get back again this morning on more thoughts. I also have not looked at Rosol. If I have a chance I will before the morning starts to see if I see something out of line. Home court advantage always help though

I was going to take Matosevic today on principle against Farah, but passed. I know Farah is in some pretty decent form the last two weeks, but the price ... another ridiculous set by the bookies regardless of outcome.

I looked up the stats & saw the same thing too Rory. If his serve is clicking today, Hanescu is gonna have his hands full bigtime. I think Rosol will get several chances to break bec Hanescu is tall but does not have a big serve at all. The match really swings into Rosol's favor if he serves like that today.

Lojda really struck good form in his first match at the 2-5 mark by winning the next 11 games in a row. He is a good, solid Challanger level player & will most likely carry over his momentum from match one right into this one. He returns really well, so I look for him to have plenty of break chances in this match. His opponent, Fabbiano, won a fairly close match to a qualifier ranked around 300. He wins against the weaker players on the Challanger level, but Lojda will be a tough test for him today. I look for Lojda to take this match & move into the next round.
Ramos as stated in the the Write Up for Play #2. Guy plays with alot of heart.
Rosol is serving really well. He won 27 of 28 points on his first serve yesterday. His groundies looked solid & if he serves that well today, Hanescu is going to have his hands full to say the least. For a big man, Hanescu does not really have a big serve. He is going to need to serve well today to really have a chance to win this match I think. If he does not, Rosol will have plenty of chances to break & that could be just too much to overcome. I look for a close match here, with Rosol moving into the next round & serving well.

Update for Play #1: Rufin was simply too much today for Albot. He broke him 5 times & won both sets comfortably 6-4, 6-2. Rufin into the next round & looking in good form. This leaves Tomic left to cash this ticket. His match starts within the hour.

Update for Play #2: It looks at though Farah down and out! He lost the first set 1-6. He was down 2-5 or 3-5 in the second. He managed to get it all the back to 4-5 with Matso serving for the match. He broke that game & ended up winning the first set in a tiebreaker. One set tennis now.

Hajek is the number one seed this week & has been in really good form lately. He is a strong Challanger level player who has had good results this year already going deep in the draws. I am more or less betting against his opponent, Begemann. He has only won a couple of matches on the Challanger level in singles. He plays more doubles it looks like actually. This should be a colloasal mis match & Hajek should win in straights to move into the next round.
Rosol was explained in Write Up for Play #4. Serve is giving him extra confidence this week.
