1xbet scam - blocked my paypal account

    Hi,
I withdraw 150$ from 1xbet to my PayPal account ( i was working with paypal in my professional life for a several years and receive a big amount without any incident)
1xbet send the 150$ in 3 parts with «*Fake accounts" few hours Paypal block my account , reason : dealing with fake accounts

I tried to contact 1xbet support many time ( twitter & more than 30 e-mails) always the same answer : we will try to solve that ... and now they don’t answer anymore !

Now I’m just asking for a refund 150$ ( i lose my PayPal account and more than 400$ -PayPal solde)

Thanks in advance for helping me ,I really don’t know how to solve that

Sounds like a reasonable request to be paid again.

But I can already hear the response from 1xbet, we already paid him so that is the end of it.

I'll contact them for you and see if we can get them to at least pay your $150 again.

Never ever use PayPal for gambling... Like most ewallets they change rules and can, and will use it against you. I have Neteller, Skrill and PayPal and now only use them for free tournaments.
PayPal disputes rarely end your favor and money will be refunded to 1xbet.

In my country when you receive payment from skrill/neteller they fake up to 30% fees :/

As i told you now im looking only for a refund from 1xbet 😔 Even my PayPal account is blocked i can make a refund for the latest transaction from 1xbet
I’m asking them to make a refund manually and get payed by an other method payment but the same answer "we are working on that ... bla bla bla "

Bro, its the 3rd week now and I’m in doubt how to solve that , please help me !!

Happened before at 22bet which is a brand of 1xbet: https://www.sportsbookreview.com/for...l#post28260488

The player received 90 EUR in 8 tranches. After that Paypal blocked his account.

@Ismail: Don't you have a contact person at Paypal from your former job?

    OP sorry about your problem.

Ionnie55, is there a legitimate reason for 1xbet to make any payments, let alone tiny payments like these, in multiple smaller payments and from different paypal accounts?

I know nothing about paypal beyond the basics, but the only reasons I can think of for doing this are malicious ones. This would be a huge step. Scam books are one thing and there is a certain amount of caveat emptor in dealing with them. But for books to actively seek to block a paypal account would be a new low.

Email Paypal in your own language if they have suppport in your own language. Try and explain your problem as simply as you can. If you have to use English support, I'd try to get a friend with good English to transalte for you. It's not your fault, but support can sometimes think you are being very angry or rude because your English isn't exactly what you mean to say, and some support are just ignorant and think anyone who can't speak English is stupid.

For 1xbet, asking SBR or Optional is the best thing to do. They are extremely good at helping players get paid and I think Optional said already in this thread he is going to contact them for you.

If you get your money stop playing at 1xbet and make a new account with a trustworthy sportsbook.

The only reason I can think of is that these accounts are not verified and have low transactions limits. What is the point of splitting up a 90 EUR withdrawal in 8 tranches? You only do that when you want to stay under the radar.

This would mean tho that 1xbet didn't have a proper business Paypal account or didn't want to use it. This is insane from a sportsbook that seems to spend so much on advertising and must have a large number of customers. I always knew they were slow pay/no pay book but this seems criminal.

You should try to explain to Paypal that a company which advertises Paypal as a deposit and withdrawal method does not make their withdrawal payments through a single verified Paypal account as I believe it probably should.

You should take screenshots of the 1xbet cashier page that shows Paypal as a deposit and withdrawal option. Then show them your withdrawal confirmation email that I assume you got from 1xbet telling you your 150 dollar deposit would be paid by Paypal. You could even go and read the Paypal terms and conditions for personal and business customers. 1xbet by sending you money from multiple Paypal accounts probably used personal Paypal accounts to avoid fees. This must be against Paypal's terms and conditions and hopefully Paypal take action against 1xbet.

You do not understand that link correctly.

It says if betting on sports is legal in your country and if you are sending money to a merchant Paypal has approved then gambling transactions are allowed. You should ask Paypal if 1xbet is an approved merchant. It should be but 1xbet is so scummy it might not even have done this. Where are you from? Is sportsbetting legal where you are from?

If sportsbetting is illegal in your country then 1xbet has broken Paypal's terms. Here is the term they broke, it's in your link:
PayPal allows approved gambling merchants to use our service in certain jurisdictions where gambling activities are legal. To be approved by PayPal, merchants must demonstrate to PayPal's satisfaction that they have the ability to block gambling activities for account holders in the U.S. and any jurisdiction where gambling activities may be illegal.

I respect anyone who can communicate in more than one language. I understand a bit of French but could not communicate well on a forum in French. I would not understand a word of Arabic.

Gambling is legal in Morocco, right? This means it's OK to tell Paypal you use it for gambling and describe your problem to them. I think Paypal has Arabic support, you tried that?

That could be a reason. Or maybe they failed the security process of PayPal you mentioned.

Exactly. For OP the best chance of getting his money is for Paypal to unfreeze his account - the money he is owed is still in his frozen account I believe. Either way 1xbet is either not an approved gambling merchant or using non-business accounts for business purposes and should be dealt with by Paypal accordingly. Since OP's account was frozen due to 1xbet's shadiness, hopefully it should be reopened if he can get Paypal to see he is blameless.

I’m good only in french&arabic , but seems you can understand my English 😅,

Gambling is legal in Morocco, but can’t find if paypal allow to Moroccan users to use PayPal for betting cause there is no bookmaker who allowed me to make a deposit via PayPal,

Yes i contacted PayPal support, but they said i can’t open the disputes in the next 6months!

But to be honest I didn’t ask them for more informations cause i tought it’s was my fault for using PayPal in gambling.

Btw, thanks a lot for your help mate ,
Do you think i have any chance to solve that ?

You have a chance. 1xbet has not paid many people in the past tho so that's why your best chance is to unfreeze your Paypal account. The 150 dollars should still be in your Paypal account? Yes?

I would try Paypal support again. What language support did you try the first time? Sometimes you just get a bad support employee who doesn't know his job well. It's always best to try a few times and always be calm and respectful.

You should try to explain to them that your account was frozen because you received money from an approved Paypal merchant. Paypal is to blame if a merchant they approve acts wrongly and uses fake accounts. Don't try and explain too much about your 150 dollar withdrawal. If you focus on 1xbet being a Paypal merchant (probably) breaking Paypal terms they should see quickly that you did not do anything wrong.

Yes, the 150$ still in my account

I contact them via e-mail & twitter(English support) then via phone ( arabic support)

Thanks for the advice, in the moment i receive an answer from paypal :

«I’m sorry you no longer have access to our services and for the delay in our response as we work through our messages. This is great news. This means they will pay you 150 dollars in 180 days even if they do not unfreeze your account. I might be a bit worried 1xbet would do ***** a r g e ba ck as they seem to have no morals.

Hopefully they unfreeze your account soon tho.

No, No!!!!! What do you mean here? You should NOT be refunding any money to 1xbet if it's in your Paypal account. Do you mean you want to refund the 150 dollars to 1xbet so they can pay you another method? This is wrong. They do not pay lots of people. You were lucky just to have been paid.

Do you have a balance remaining at 1xbet even aftyer you withdraw the 150 dollars? Is this what you are talking about?

Do you have a balance remaining at 1xbet even aftyer you withdraw the 150 dollars? Is this what you are talking about?
I ask them for a refund like this way and they told me we will see if we can do it i was waiting for their reply,

But I can already hear the response from 1xbet, we already paid him so that is the end of it.

I'll contact them for you and see if we can get them to at least pay your $150 again.

Can you describe what you mean by refund?

You should not be sending money to 1xbet. Even if you said to 1xbet in chat I will send you back money so you can send it to me again from a different, not fake, account. You can ignore you said this as they are not honourable so you don't have to keep your word to them.

I mean to make a refund manually from my side to their PayPal account, and ask them to get paid by an other method (skrill) ,

To be clear with you, i can’t wait 6months for PayPal ( i don’t even know if it will be solved after 6months or not ) i wanna solve that nowdays ( it’s more than 2week)

OK, that's what I thought you were meaning which is bad. I know you need the money soon but just search this forum for 1xbet. You will see they do not pay people or make them wait a long time. It is almost certain if you refund them your Paypal account money they will NOT pay you by Skrill in the next two weeks. And they might never pay you again.

You are thinking you are choosing between getting the money soon or in 6 months but you're not. You are choosing between almost certainly getting the money in 6 months( and maybe a lot sooner as Paypal support is usually good) and maybe getting the money in a month at best or most likely not at all.

It's not a nice choice if you need the money, but waiting for Paypal is by far the best option.
