    "Arbing" Your opinion please?

    Hi,

What do you think about arbing??

Is it efficient? 1$ per day? 100$ per day?

Which software?? (cause they are very expensive!!)
Which Book ?? (a lot of book seems to limit account so is arbing only efficient in a short time?)

    Thanks to you

If you're from the US, your ability to arb diminished greatly the day Matchbook left. I could get a bonus from one book and arb the required rollover against MB for a sure profit. To answer your question, MB and Pinny are great arb accounts if you live outside the USA.

You can't make enough arbing for it to be worthwhile. However, you can collect deposit bonuses and then scalp ( bet arbs or games where you lose little to nothing ) to accomplish the roll-over, while leaving the bonus intact. One book, of course, is not enough. You would want a reduced juice book, and as many other safe books as you can find that offer decent bonuses.

Like everything else in offshore betting, arbing has gotten a lot harder.

Arbing, scalping, bonus bagging, all becoming more difficult. may provide a useful extra part time income - but don't give up the day job for it.

Hey arbing is pretty good and sometimes with basketball if u get a point in between it will land in there and u win both, say u wager 1k on each to arb or unlock bonus then u win 2k in the process happened to me quite a few times. Baseball is great for this also.

It's just one more style of playing with specific pluses and minuses.
One of strong unexpected minuses is that those many bookmakers you see before you start to arb will quickly kill or hardly limit your accounts after they realize what are you doing. And this limitation is forever!

I make a decent income through arbing 8-12 hours daily.........

Best part of 10 years too late to the gold rush. Still doable, but nowhere near as easy or profitable.

Arbing was good 5-6 years ago but not any more. The reasons are many. More and more cancellations of games exist, and also highly rated bookmakers are dirty to their customers today. Addition of charges that did not previously exists. CRIS is the latest in the line of bookmakers are now taking fees for payments. Few exceptions exists. Rule interpretations. In many cases, sportsbooks gaming rules to their advantage and against arbers. Bookmakers use only the odds based on how their game rules how the game is. And arbers are usually those who lose in this. I can list plenty of other reasons and traps that make it nearly impossible to live as Arber today.

Agree, it is not nearly good as 5-10 years ago for the vast majority.

Because of certain sitations, for me personally, it has been as good as anytime these last 2-3 years................

What your saying may make sense to the normal person as its well put but to me u are obviously missing something and why say things if u dont have all the angles figured out. Didn't Fishhead just tell u he makes a nice cut daily from arbing. Just from my arbing i can pay all my bills and some, but i do have multiple game plans in my mix.
Umm if your talking about trying to arb at CRIS then your not even close to finding good arbs.

It would be quite difficult to only now become familiar with arbing, for all the reasons stated above and more. However, if you've been doing it for a while, several years perhaps, then you've had to adapt to the changing times and have probably figured out a routine for continued success. In my opinion the Glory Days are gone, but for people to be suggesting that it's worthless and unprofitable is ridiculous. Either that, or they don't know the first thing about it.....

from what I've read on this forum it seems that most players are either arbers, traders or steam and bonus chasers

not too many genuine sports or horse/dog punters ?

further it appears to me that some who say they are arbing are in reality trading, i.e. they anticipate odds/line movements rather than place 'sure' opposing bets simultaneously ?

So, i'm wrong but you can't tell me or anyone else where I'm wrong

I suspect you are related to that other obnoxious weed, Thremp who calls me a liar then fails to provide any evidence when called on to prove his claims.

I never asked for my hand to be held. I simply made some observations.

I'm not sure how many threads I'll have to explain it on for you. Hopefully this will be the last time but I doubt it.

I never bet at market price on widely traded markets at Pinnacle, Matchbook, etc. I do chase steam and collect bonii (because I'm not an idiot who doesn't pick up free money off the ground). However I also play props, teasers and derivatives among other things. Does this make me a "non-genuine punter"?

Nothing you've said there makes anything in my post wrong.

But, yes, by genuine punter I mean one who primarily makes bets at value odds based on opinion . You don't make it clear how you derive your bets so I can't really answer whether you fit that definition or not and frankly I couldn't care less. You are just one of hundreds who post in this forum, albeit one of the most obnoxious of them all.
