This is an easy way for any book to abscond with funds if they wanted to. Bookmaker is still around and emailed people in 5 mins after their name went down. Beted knew what was going on, evidently, and they elected to flee with funds. Thats the belief of guys on my site and the fact that they want to claim that two of their 25 bank accounts held all the funds is rubbish. I love how everybody expects that a business will continue with no problems after having their owners indicted and most of their funds seized.
Most amazing is that still a bunch of "smart" posters assumed that every "A" book has 100 banks aligned, it has money buried on their backyard and that they must have a plan B, C, D and E ready for all these situations. Please guys, some common sense, any book, be an "A" or "B" or whatever letter, if suddenly you lose a 80% of your revenue, how do you expect to operate?

Also this dream that a book is an "A" or "B", whatever, SBR charges for it, Covers does it too. Dont blame them they are all business and on this industry anyone can fall.

There is no chance ¨most¨of their funds were seized. It could not possibly amount to more than a tiny percent unless they were completely insolvent and didn´t have any of the players funds.

THey always promoted scammy books, and if you ever say anything about a sponor they insta delete the post/thread and ban you. Is lou at covers even real, back in the day they had this pic of a fat dude that looked like a 70's ron jeremy style porn star sitting in a hot tub. Did they invent lou to promote that shit hole or is he a real dude? Just curious, either way that place is a thorn in the side of the legit gambling industry since many degenerates get their first introduction to the industry through that place. All the newbies getting ripped off won't return again, that's bad for all legit businesses and legit players. Really wish legit sportsbooks would pull their advertisements from covers, especially after this shit.
BetJam, Bookmaker, BetDSI, BetOnline, Intertops, Legendz, should all pull their money from covers. You guys with money at BetEd should email them and tell them they shouldn't promote covers. And hell covers got all those ad dollars, even if there was a hint of truth to what they said they could use those ad dollars to help make their customers whole. They have promoted BetEd for years, they have made tons of money off BetEd and the customers they sent there.
Anyone reading the thread over at covers? A poster named King_Coebra is ripping the entire site of covers a new asshole. Pretty humorous. Covers Lou got so pissed he called the King_Coebra guy a "fu[]king clown".

Not sure about the ownership of Bodog these days but they have never ripped anyone off. Shadiest thing I ever read about them is payout delays back when all the payment processors got shut down. They limit quick compared to the other 3 horsemen mentioned but I would feel just as safe getting paid from Bodog as from the other 3..not saying I'd put bodog in their league but as far as legit and getting paid I probably would.You include Bodog in this group?

That is so very untrue. So very, very untrue.
So fill me in, never claimed to know all but as far as I know bodog never did anything worse than payment delays. I know they limit sharps quick, look at their lines even if I didn't read that in a forum it's obvious. I've read the new ownership as ruined the poker room for all but the squarest of the squares. But what am I missing, who got ripped off?
For what it's worth I bet Johnny Sack to get whacked first in the final season of sopranos and lost at Bodog. I knew he would die first from lung cancer from leaks, bodog wouldn't pay out even though BetUs did. I was mad and raised hell. But at end of the day they were right..and it was just a $50 bet anway but even if more I would have pushed just until I got my money back. THey were right, he wasn't whacked he died of lung cancer.
What else has Bodog done? Seriously I'd like to know. I had an account with them that was so old I forgot and openeed a new one and they informed me I had little over $200 in the old account. I didn't know I had ever played with them. If you want I can probably dig up the emails from 2005 or so.
So I know of no dishnest theft from bodog, and I have no money there but if I did I'd feel pretty safe about it. Teh rake they charge is another story, rape to say teh least. But to compare them to BetEd isn't fair, and as far as payouts go they are in the top tier unless their is something I don't know in which case enlighten me.

Just curious, what funds were seized by the US Government? The funds charged to ************ by foreign processors? Or was it the money sent by wire to foreign destinations?
BetED was a shot taker to players for years, anyone that played there got what they deserved. A note to all players offshore, Keep your balances low so you can't get screwed out of more than a couple thousand.
