100% of people on max life support in our hospital system, one of the most busy and inundated systems dealing with covid, are non vaxxers
We no longer receive county updates on covid #'s within the community so I have no clue what % of fully vaccinated people have contracted covid, or even how many cases there are.
All I know is 100% of the sickest patients have refused the vaccine

You can watch a video, believe it or not; there will be 10,000 videos pro and con on the one video you watched... There are so many varying opinions due to the internet... It is difficult to discern what is and what isn't truth any longer...

Im not a scientist by any means and a lot of this stuff goes over my head, yet some people have a full grasp on it after a few yt vids and an article, blows my mind.
Im not claiming I know anything more than what I see, and thats all I say.

It just so happens in our quanternary hospital, we currently have 6 or 7 peeps on max life support and none of them got the vaccine. And its been this way for months.
Actually don't have any ill feelings for the guy if he really is an ICU nurse because they bust their ass to help people. IMO he is naive and helping to perpetuate a false narrative for some evil people but that doesn't mean he is a bad person himself. All the females in my family are ICU nurses and think the same way he does.

Personally I think on average just about all humans are similar intelligence and can sort out the shit from the clay quite well without your help.
Proof of that would be how hard the media tried to tell us Trump had no chance in 2016, and then had no chance of losing in 2020. If they could brainwash us all so easily, how do you explain those two "failures" of the media in a row?

Last guy I had which was a few days ago was a young man, less than 40 less old. He was on VAV ECMO, 16 IV drips (literally), feeding tube, dialysis, had a pressure line inserted into his heart that shows us the pressures inside his ventricles, atriums and pulmonary arteries so we could titrate meds more appropriately, he was on a roto-prone bed and will be listed for either lung transplant or heart/lung transplant as soon as the transplant team clears him
Add in multiple trips to MRI, CT, OR or another procedure department, theres not much more that can be done.

And NAC is safe and used quite a bit, if you can takk his medical team into giving it, by all means it wont hurt. But theres a point of no return in these people. The problems we actually end up dealing with isn't the covid itself, its the damage caused by covid. ie heart failure, ARDS, kidney failure, liver failure, etc... this stuff persists long after covid has cleared the body. Once covid has done its damage and cleared the body, nac wont help
