Good Jobs First estimates that Wal-Mart will save about $46 million over the life of this one agreement.
Thanks to their poverty-level wages, Wal-Mart workers are often eligible for other kinds of government assistance as well. The same study found that California Wal-Mart employees and their families utilize an additional $54 million in non-health related federal assistance, including food stamps, the Earned Income Tax Credit, subsidized school lunches, and subsidized housing.
The Democratic staff of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce estimated the breakdown of costs for one 200-employee Wal-Mart store:
* $36,000 a year for free or reduced school lunches, assuming that 50 families of employees qualify.
* $42,000 a year for Section 8 rental assistance, assuming that 3% of the store employees qualify.
* $125,000 a year for federal tax credits and deductions for low-income families, assuming that 50 employees are heads of households with a child, and 50 employees are married with two children.
* $108,000 a year for the additional federal contribution to state children's health insurance programs, assuming
that 30 employees with an average of two children qualify.
* $100,000 a year for additional Title I expenses, assuming 50 families with two children qualify.
* $9,750 a year for the additional costs of low-income energy assistance.
Overall, the committee estimates that one 200-person Wal-Mart store may result in an excess cost of $420,750 a year for federal taxpayers.

Welfare and food stamps should be limited and closely monitored.
Unemployment is bad also. Yea help someone out when they lose there job but have a system to find them jobs. If they dont use it then pull the benifits.
Current definition of racist/non-racist in today's world, since everyone knows minorities have had the same exact rights as whites and more (see garbage like Affirmative Action) for the last 50 years so explaining their complete failure and the reason whites have such success relies on the difficulties their grandfather experienced getting a job in 1960

Non-racist = Devotes a lifetime to sucking the taxpayer (racist) dry, refuses to work at a job that's "beneath him" (less than the 20/hour he feels he should be paid to bag groceries in the middle of a depression which is probably necessary to make cancelling his welfare economical) to support himself or family, received a completely equal and completely free education which he put no effort into whilst growing up supported completely on the taxpayers dime (was taught growing up this was bc of racism that his parents werent more successful), the only education he was interested in is how to commit crimes and maximize welfare benefits, as an adult never considered having children whilst having no income to be completely illogical, pays no taxes whilst enjoying all the benefits and more that the tax dollars provide, thinks taxpayers should work their ass off to pay HIS rent then calls them racist for thinking he should get a job since they are struggling to make ends meet and cant afford to pay any more taxes but since they stupidly went out and got jobs they arent eligible for welfare (punishment for getting a job and voting Republican), depends on the govt completely to support him and his family (somehow this is not beneath him) for fear that hed miss an episode of Desperate Housewives
