    I need from 8 to 9, I could only sleep 6 hours today and my head hurts like shit. Also it doesnt help that I drank 13 beers yesterday

    i need 8hr of sleep to feel normal....recently i've been waking up after 3-4 hours of sleep then going back to sleep.....i can definitely feel it affecting my day

    Sleep is very important. It lowers you stress level and it give your body a chance to rejuvinate itself after being up all day...An average person is supposed to get at least 8 hours of sleep...

    i do the 3-4 hours twice a day thing... works out great but once every week or so i zonk out for like 10 hours.

    I have worked in a sleep lab for over 20yrs the amount of sleep at nite you need goes down as you age. Babys sleep 20hrs with naps. And 80 yos sleep 6hrs At nite, with naps during the day. The body needs, whatever the age, 6 hrs of uninterrupted sleep. If you wake every 2 hrs. Go see your MD

    i get about 6. i work from 8 to 10 and i feel great. On the weekends i get alot more sleep and i feel worse but i love to sleep in.

    gettingscrilla once i get to a laptop will explain more. But generally teens need 10 -11hrs and once you hit 21ish to 24 you should have a regular sleep cycle and need 7-8 hrs. Poeple i see wake Q2HRS. usually after a dream period. And feel tired all day. There is a simple cure . And sleep meds arent it. They get you to sleep, dont keep you asleep.     i got a lot better from my illness just by getting a good night's sleep

    mostly though its not necessary for me to sleep more than 6. 7 is fine. 8 is getting to be too much.
