This is not about the pats future success beyond this one game.

Titans/oilers haven't won in foxboro in eons. That's not changing Saturday
Why everyone thinks they have to win? Spread is 5

I don’t see them letting it be close enough titans have a chance.

I already explained the reason in first post. No sharp action is on the Titans. That's why the line is trending to-5 not-4. It's a teaser line on the 10/11

Wow nice. Vrabel won't be beating his old coach. It's a perfect jump big game because of the Dolphins loss. Everyone is down on the Patriots too since they closed lousy. The sucker bet is to be on the Titans. I remember the Chargers last year. They were riding high until they got on that field and it was a mismatch after that. Playoff football is a different beast. You will see a totally different Pats team.

Brady’s arm doesn’t appear to be 100%, and the line seems short. If the patriots win, will be by no more than a TD.

    Using Tennessee in a teaser

boys saw a troubling stat yesterday night: after week 6, tanneskillz took the offense from 29th to 6th overall DVOA

Mariota and Winston might be the most overrated 1-2 punch in a draft...could see both as 3rd stringers in another 2 years.

Getting the Titans to 10 might be the best play here?

Agreed. Best approach is to tease them up. Considering doing that and the under in that game, or possibly using the Eagles to finish the deal. I see that game being very close, like their first meeting this year. Do not think Carroll taking his team across country a day earlier will change that.

    FYI FWIW,

According to CBS Sports Research, Belichick is 14-13 as a head coach when facing one of his former assistants/former players. He's 12-13 in the regular season and 2-0 in the postseason. Those two playoff victories came against Eric Mangini (2006) and Bill O'Brien (2016). While 14-13 is still a winning record, it's hardly the type of winning percentage that New Englanders have been accustomed to when speaking about Belichick. In fact, his recent totals are a bit more alarming. Dating back to just the start of the 2018 season, Belichick has faced O'Brien (Texans), Matt Patricia (Lions), Vrabel (Titans) and Brian Flores (Dolphins), all either former assistants or (in the case of Vrabel) former players. In that time, Belichick's Patriots are 2-4 and have outscored their opponents 136-135, which is largely thanks to a 43-0 victory in Week 2 against Miami earlier this season. If you take out that game, former Patriots assistants/players are outproducing Belichick-led teams 135-93 over this recent stretch.

I hope Vrabel knowing his old coach helps and I really feel Brady is not the same. Losing to the Dolphins was bad. If the Pats were the Pats they would have won by 30 easily in a must win for the 2nd seed.

Tannenhill has to control the ball and make throws when it counts. They need to ride Henry. I can see a 4 or 3 point Pat win but not a blowout unless Tannenhill shits the bed. Titans D is no joke.

You realize fish have beaten pats as much as all the rest the nfl combined in December/Jan reg season games correct? Nothing new for them to lose to fish. I wouldn’t make too much out of it.

Not sure about the line backers but agree with Banker, they better slow Henry or they will have issues.

Seaweed has been known to fukk with people and go on insane win streaks when the board starts fading him. He's been picking winners lately as far as I can tell but you never know with that guy. He mushes -2000 favorites.

    Bill Bellichick has one job
Take the teams best player out of the game...
    Bill will do his job
But with what consequences is the question?
Tennessee weather in nov dec jan cold as penetrate and they get cold rain as well
The question I'm asking myself is Tannehill going to out play Brady in Bradys house?
