Long story short I guess the cops didnt search my car very good because I got my car and my weed back.
Daggles, did the weed smell funny after? They probably wiped it in their ass cracks.

right toler, all the cops must watch their ass around you. I am sure they have your license plate written down and the police chief reiterates to all officers, at the morning briefing, to make sure to never get out of line to the one that is known by jtoler.

Guaranteed next time you run into that officer and he catches you doing anything, he will stick his foot up your ass. Only an idiot tries to play tough guy.

That was the perfect time to do what I did because he was flat out lying, which is why he responded the way he did. Any other time in life Ive gotten a ticket for speeding or whatever I dont care they are doing their job and I just pay the fine, it should be nothing more than a ticket, nothing extra.

Sigh, the reason you presumed in the earlier post is why I responed in the first place. You assume because youve never had a problem then all cops are barney fife and they are angles. This type thinking reminds me of when people have problems and post threads about books, then posters come in and automatically denigrate them simply because they havent had the same problems. For the record I have no record.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that it's those that are consistently breaking the law are the ones complaining about cops.

I understand there are bad cops, just like any other profession. This is why there are bosses. Did you call his boss and file a complaint? If you didn't, then you are part of the problem.

Some would suggest lawbreakers and non-pros go hand-in-hand.

I never would, but I've heard it suggested.

I don't think you are connected at all. Apple pie world? WTF? I live in reality. You come with this story about telling off this cop after he lied to you and he goes running. You expect anyone to believe this? Why post that b.s? If that happens to anyone, I'm sure the watch commander is called instantly. Again, did you do that? What world do you live in?

That's besides the point. They search cars because the have a reason or expect something is not right. They don't need to find anything.

I have worked alongside a lot of cops. My impression of them is very favorable: They all seem to have wanted the best for the community that they were serving in. However, I did observe on one occasion when a cop abused his power. The cop dragged a homeless man away from a casino sign. The homeless guy was resting in the grass and wasnt blocking the sign in my opinion. He dragged him a good 10 feet. Cops are usually blunt and forceful in their rhetoric, and you have to realize that they do this to protect themselves, because most people perceive a person of authority with a normal tone as weak.

There are countless studies in scholarly journals regarding disproportionate searches against blacks and latinos. Many, many searches do not find their way into those studies because they go unreported. There are way too many cops and way too many laws. American has not been the land of the free for many, many years.

My property taxes are over $9,000 a year for 1/12 an acre in a suburban leaning rural town in NJ that has 50 police officers. There is a minimal amount of crime in this town that affects the life, liberty of property of its inhabitants and guests. The amount of cars I see getting torn apart late at night when I come home from work is ridiculous. Cops flying around all over the place constantly pulling people over.

Most cops do not exist to serve and protect their people. They are revenue collectors for the town that pays their salaries and retirement. It's so needless. We would all be fine with 8-10 officers max. Many are not bad people, but I think the culture of the job has led them to lose touch with day to day lives of many people.

That is so far off. There are many constitutionalists, libertarians and free thinkers that believe our police state has lost its way. The way LEO and government can seize assets is incredibly scary.

The only way property gets seized is through illegal activity. If you think it's scary, then you need to think about all the crime that's going on around you. They just don't come in and rip your things from you, at least that's not been my experience.

Have no reason to lie. Obviously you dont live in reality since the world you speak of is indeed an apple pie world. Youre letting YOUR experience speak for 330 million others, how ludicrous is that.

I asked a cop why he was putting on the fake bravado once and he said the academy taught them to do it to project authority. Might be useful for naturally weaker personality cops to get by but in general it just pisses innocent people off more than it helps cops do the job I think.

You need to watch the youtube videos about not letting them search your car, or anything else. And never tell them anything. They'll twist your words and outright lie about what you said.

They only get promoted based on how many arrests they make. They're not looking to help you, they're looking for some reason to bust you in order to help their career.

Cops are necessary, but I treat them like downed electrical lines, or a loose pit bull - I stay the hell away from them.

not only did they not arrest me for running the cops didn't search me or do anything
