Because they wouldn't clinch #1 seed if they lost them all.

Exactly. That's why Seahawks will lose on Sunday. They are not the best team. Only in your twisted mind they are.

Always an excuse as to why the Seahawks losses are ok, but then we are supposed to believe that every Falcons loss was legit and very meaningful.

You're looking too far ahead. Forget about Seattle, Green Bay has to get by the 49ers first.

Seahawks beat them already. If they play again, the Seahawks are a much improved team than last time they played.

Last time ATL had a meaningful game they beat the Giants 34-0! A game the Giants had to win, I might add. Seahawks will lose.

It would be crazy to see the Falcons lose again in the 1st round. But then again, the Falcons aren't very good against the run and the Seahawks secondary should easily shut down Jones/White. Falcons playoff coaching is horrible too.

I'm not convinced SEA can shut down Jones/White/Gonzo. Coverage is only as good as the pressure on the QB and with Clemons gone, this is going to be a problem. I'm not convinced that Irvin can step in and be as good as Clemons, especially since he's a pass rush specialist, ATL can use the no huddle to keep him on or off the field and exploit him one way or the other.

SEA has a great defense, but ATL has the weapons and scheme to score 23-27 pts, at home.

My big question is whether RW can lead his team to 24-28 points with this roaring dome in his ear hole.

Slacker I feel they can the Seahawks can score with thier wr's te's and running game not to mention wilsons ability to scramble for 15+yrds at any given moment. If Atlanta had a better defence then I would be worried but they dont and as i stated previously cam newton has been giving Atlantas defence real issues...the one thing i am worried about is bruce irvan getting overwelmed hopefully he wont hes preatty good as a rookie just hope he doesnt over pursue. This is going to be a Great game I have a good feeling Seattle rises to the occasion and gets the job done either way just want a clean game called by the refs

They give up less at home than the hawks do on the road... Just saying about this 'bad' defense. I guess people forgot about the bend but don't break defenses of NO and GB during their SB runs. Difference was TO margin and they are tied with Seattle as the top two teams in TO margins remaining in the playoffs

I honestly don't believe how anyone can feel that the Seahawks secondary should "easily" shut down White and Jones. Sure its possible, anything is really, but to say it should be easy just makes no sense to me.

This bet is almost as good as the Alabama cottonpicking plantation over the all white, non-athletic Catholic school skirts of the Irish on Monday...The Falcons have been waiting 3 years for this win and they'll do anything to get that win. The media and fans have been calling Matt Ryan a poor man's Peyton Manning (regular season qb) for years... The Seahawks are gonna make lots of mistakes trying to cover the 3 weapons that Atlanta has. Rookie qb Russell Wilson vs a very good defense? This is BY FAR the easiest bet of the weekend in my opinion. However, that's just my opinion...what the hell do I know?

It's impressive, ATL only giving up 23 or more once. But Cam Newton did hang 28 points at ATL in Sept and another 30 at Carolina. Thing is, ATL has a lot of experience game planning against Cam, now having seen him 4 times, they should be able to use that to be ready for RW. If RW wants to use his legs, ATL has seen that already this year from Cam, RGIII and Vick. ATL will be ready for it.

Being ready for it and containing it are two different stories...Seattle will come into this Game with no expectations pete carrol is a risk taker Atlanta has to win this game to shed the monkey off thier back they will come out tight and the coaching for Atlanta history shows is lacking in the playoffs.Seattle will have to play thier best football yet to get this win I feel they will if they dont i will come back and say I WAS WRONG and tip my hat to Atlanta for finally winning a playoff game..hope not though. I played my seahawks in a parlay and straight up i didnt over bet it and i want to place a larger bet on totals and a few on props for this game i have been almost perfect on russel wilson props...so whatwver happens hope some of you all get that fetti this weekend

    How exactly is Seattle overrated?
Seahawks are fourth ranked in the NFL in total defense. Falcons 24th rank.
All I hear is Jones this, Roddy White that, all I know is Falcons better give Ryan some protection, because you have no ground game, zero.
    Non existent running attack.
So if Ryan is pressured, it's going to be a looooooong day for the Falcons.
Also know this, Lynch is a beast and Falcons aren't very good at stopping the run.

If we can pressure ryan we win good points steve.Lynch excells in big games....huge and Atlanta cannot stop him....if ryan throws picks or is scrambling all day this game is over....millers tight end play is heating up and tate and rice have been clutch..this game is going to be fun to watch

All i hear is Sherman this. Browner that. Kam chancellor this. Early Thomas that. The falcons take the ball away as much as the Seahawks. Falcons keeps score off the board at home better than Seattle keeps them off the board on the road. All i hear is Seattle is going to win from all media outlets and matt Ryan will choke again. People take yards into account way too much. Falcons have a better ypp, ppp, 3rd %, and rz% offensively and defensively than the Seahawks with the exception of only 1 or 2 categories. ATL home vs. Seattle on the road.

I'm a Giant fan, northeast guy, could take or leave Seattle, even though I rooted them hard against Pitt in that debacle.
But what made me really take notice was that SF game 5 weeks or so back.
'Hawks were flying up and down the field, those hits were almost criminal, they were playing on a level I have seen no team play on in a long time.
Any football fan could see this team was playing with a purpose, a mission, and I really don't think they'll be denied.
Even with the new injuries, that defense is an 11 man unit, not a one man gang.

What about when the giants got blanked by the Falcons. So you have experience with what the Falcons are capable of in the dome. Lol.
