Sure they said that they'd repay you the 7K you lost. Now I haven't been following all the threads on their casino "mishaps", but they could of just not repaid all you guys anything.

You didn't make a thread being pissed that you lost 7K on this game until, you were told that you'd be getting the money back. So it seems you were fine to go about your business and weren't too upset about losing the 7K although you were still "up money" playing there.

But if you really liked it there, I would of tried asking for 5K and still be able to play at the sportsbook there. If you truly aren't as good at betting sports as you are at playing at the online casino's, I'm sure he would of allowed you to stay there. Getting 5K of money that you didn't have a few days ago, and weren't concerned about getting would of made me happy and you'd still have that book as an out.

That's what I would do. But if this guy is playing with a 19K account balance, which is much much more than I've ever held in a balance in a book, then it may not be a wise decision for him.

I Only bet 50-300 a game (average) , and I know for damn sure I'd take the 7K and walk. But if I were betting 300+ a game average and had a balance of 19K, that must mean you're doing something right, and I'd sure like to keep 5Dimes around as a book.

I would just like to thank the staff here at sbr for helping me out, and quickly. I know its easy to accuse them of being on the take, but they really came through. Seriously, what would we do without them being around to keep the books in line.

As for people who say I'm lucky to have gotten what I did, I didn't know anything until I got the message, I should have settled for less and stayed, etc. this is my thinking.

I went into this knowing 5dimes offers the best odds on sports usually and I didn't want to lose them, so I was open to some reasonable negotiation. This doesn't mean I don't feel I was entitled to the full amount, but I was weighing it against future bets I could make there that had better odds than other books. Somewhere in that conversation I just became disgusted and realized I didn't want to be dealing with this book, or maybe even this industry.

I don't know Tony, all I can do is go by what he has said and done.

He said he was confiscating winnings from Zabula(?) for bot play and other players received their winnings. Tackleberry (I think that's his name) got screwed there for being a winner on another incorrectly payout scheduled game, not because of using a bot. Sound familiar? I play these games and win or lose 5,10,20k. You think if I won 15k on this game he would have paid me but not Tackleberry?

From his statements and actions I have no reason to believe I could ever have won at this game, only lost. That's why I get my money back. Maybe he paid some people who won a few hundred dollars each, I don't know, but the shit hits the fan when something happens like a Tackleberry.
