    1.25.2011 Tuesday CBB, "49-22 ats Gators @ Dwags"

    Hi all, it's VR again ! Hope all's good. It's "Super Tuesday", and there's some great games tonight. Let's get right in it.

    Florida @ Georgia -140, -2

    Were playing this contest both ways, I feel real strong taking the most Dangerous team in the SEC East. Second year HC Mark Fox has the Georgia Bulldogs aimed toward their first trip to the NCAA Tourament since 2008. An well-balanced lineup features 5 starters who each have scored at least 20 points in one game this season. Georgia has a very good inside-outside game, Guard Travis Leslie is dynamic, scoring 15 ppg, and lightening fast. Gerald Robinson 14 ppg, who is deadly from the 3 point land. Trey Thompkins who will be First team All-SEC, scoring 17 a game. Trey is a man down in the low block and he can step out and hit the 12 footer all night long. Georgia's offense gives teams fits because of there ability to stretch opposing defenses because of there 3 point shooting, hitting better than 50% in there last 3 games and there game in the paint. Also coming off the bench is freshman forward Marcus Thornton. His last game VS Miss. St Marcus grabbed 9 boards.
    Georgia's lone home loss come in November VS Colorado. In Saturdays home win VS Miss State Georgia hit 11 of 19 3's, thats pretty good.
    I believe all of the mention will give the Gators fits, Florida in 2010-11 has been up and down. Each night there uncertainty is really hurting this team. There last road game in which they scored 45 points VS the worst BCS team in the nation Auburn.
    Georgia is by far the most athletic team in the SEC, 14-4 SU, 9-1 at home.

    Im on the Gators, i think they come through with a big road win tonight..
    also, not to question your pick, but if you are very confident that they win and win big by the score you have stated why even lay the juice on the moneyline?

    Goodluck tonight buddy....But I'm on Florida +2.5 tonight (think they may win outright tonight at GA) just like Morehead +2 did last night for me at Ball st....... Hope for a good game either way. Keep up the solid work

    Your right they lost to Tenn at home, but they actually beat Colorado 83-74 back on Nov 16th at home, so still 1 home loss on the year...

    Colorado just lost to Oklahoma and we are terrible.

    Boulder is a tough place to play but there are a lot better games on the board imo.

    Winner - this is the one game that I hoped was only a "lean" tonight. That said, I'm at least glad you are on the right side. I'm a UGA alum and huge Dawg fan. I was very high after the UK win, then I lost confidence after losing to the Vols. They seem to play down more than play up and lose a lot of close games. This a different team with Coach MF and good leadership with Thompkins and Leslie, but it's hard to erase the many, many years of bad basketball in Athens. Especially bad against our most hated rivals. I trust Coach MF and love what he's been able to do in Athens less than 2 years, but I'm not sure I completely trust them yet in meaningful games against a quality basketball team.

    I'll probably ride with you b/c you are on the right side, but I'm nervous about this one. Good luck everybody.

    I have Georgia at -2 and the line has already moved to -3.

    Unranked home team favored against ranked team with line moving up in their favor.....

    It's not a guarantee that Georgia covers but they are the right side. I like this play and will be tailing even though Georgia burned me against Tennessee.

    Pitt lost to the Vols at home. The Vols are like herpes this year... dormant most of the time but every once in a while they come out and cover your spread.

    Hi Silver, let me tell you something. This Is Huge For Georgia. HUGE GAME.
    The can taste beating the Gators, as you know being an alum and Georgia having a nice season, they want this really bad. So we shall see !

    Winner - I have tasted victory so many times against the Gayturds only to have the taste knocked out of my mouth! LOL! I appreciate what you do here and I love my Dawgs so I'm with you on this one. I'm gonna sit back with a few cold drinks and enjoy a UGA beat down.
