I'm starting to possibly buy into this idea that teams have certain personalities and this time of year is a great time to use those traits.
Michigan State was 7-4 straight up on the road and 7-4 ats on the road. So while being very solid on the road they probably should not have been favored in this game.
Now looking at Michigan State's next game we have Ohio State.
Michigan State is 12-3 ats at home and undefeated straight up at home.
Ohio St is 4-5 ats on the road this year and 5-4 straight up on the road this year.
Ohio St does have revenge on their mind, but you can't say they are the better overall team.
There is really no way I can bet on Ohio State in this spot unless they are more than an 8 point dog. If Michigan State is in the -3 to -4 range I think you have to take them.
