    John, GL on the Baylor -7 tonight. Since I am an A&M Alum and know how much of a fight they can put up at home, I can't bet against my team; however I do still think Baylor -7 is the only play here if you are to bet it. Thanks for you research and great picks!

    you were right.. they were getting killed in the first half and then showed that 12th man 'fight' in the secon half. Aggies played well and Baylor thought the game was over at half-time

    Discipline is the most important factor and to not expect another 5-0 ATS day, although they can happen certainly. You must look forward to today's card only and not allow an 0-5 ATS or a 5-0 ATS to effect your objectivity. That is one major thing the simulator does for me. It removes the subjectivity and does not care if I had a good night or a bad night. It is simply looking for inequalities. Thanks for the question and it was a very good one.

    We we managed to get a good night on a rather large card. honestly, I do get more nervous playing more games. In my opinion, the more games you play, the greater the opportunity for LOSS. But, we did go 3-2 ATS and 1-0-1 ATS with the 10* plays. Cpmbined with a 5* loss and another 10* winner in the NBA it was a solid night.

    55-59 ATS for 5* plays , 8-1-1 ATS for 10* plays , and 2-0 ATS for 20* plays. entering Thursday action.

    NBA 10* are 4-1 ATS as well. so, even though the 5* plays are treading water the higher end plays are doing extraordinarily well. DO NOT expect an 8-1-1 ATS clip to become a 16-2-2 ATS result down the road. I suspect the 5* will start to out-perform a bit over the next several weeks.

    I don't understand what makes this a 20* play. Your reasoning is that your simulator says they will shoot a certain percentage from the field and they have a good ATS record when they shoot that percentage. Same thing with offensive rebounds.

    So you're handing out a 20* play based solely on your simulator? What am I missing?

    Not scared... Just seeing if I can get anymore insight on the pick... On his higher graded plays, John usually has more evidence to support the pick.

    Seeing as though he started his write up with this...

    "As we run up to Super Bowl I am going to release a big play each day up to and including Saturday as part of our ‘Build Your Bankroll’ series and hopefully give you all a little extra to wager on the big game on Sunday."

    ...and then not back it up like I have come to expect from John's higher grade plays, I am wondering if this is truly a 20* pick because it is Super Bowl week, or because it is really a play that should be graded as such. Just doing my due diligence, although I suspect John won't see these messages until tomorrow.

    I appreciate all the picks he provides and I certainly hope this one cashes. GL.

    John, don't force the big play for SuperBowl's sake.... As you say, "Use discipline first and foremost" ...

    I also don't understand why you are encouraging people to bet more on the SuperBowl, its props, etc. It's just another day! Don't get caught up in all the hype. If you normally bet $100 on a game, don't go betting $1000 just because it's the SuperBowl. Makes no sense to me. The bet last night should have been a 5* play because that's the amount of research you had to support it.

    That is exactly what I have stated. props are just 3* plays and I have been very successful at them abd I have gone 7-1 ATS since the 2001 super bowl based on the model gradings. I hope this clarifies everything. This is REAl, VERY real 20* Titan play 'UNDER'

    one good day for a couple of bad ones, that´s how gambling is...
    i am almost sure that NCAAB is rigged somehow, is the only sport where spreads are always so tight, extremly i would say.
    there are always +/- 2 points in most of the games.

    So you're bored, I figured that. The second part, you do not make losing picks? Guys like you will never post picks prior to a game, just harass others who have the balls to post picks with their own reasoning.     No I make losing picks plenty of them but I am not a handicapper that sells my picks or spends all day studying games and running simulators to create losing picks. I dont use these points to bet I bet with real money I have never placed a sports bet with my points. Thanks for your concern.

    I think if you actually bought these picks then you would have a right to complain. But, as long as you're freeloading, please, do the honorable thing and reserve the diatribes for people that deserve to have them.
