All out. R11 the #8 did finish 2nd at 33/1. Only had to win though.

4 very well bred and expensive first time starters in here
(1 of those a phipps/mcgaughey homebred)..one other has started once and cost 550k..intereating thing in here though is you have dams by a.p indy, storm cat and mr prospector...the former two of course were the big sires of the 90's into early 10's while mr p was mid 70's into the early 90's (going off top of my head but sure i'm in the ballpark )ap and sc were sires of sires and sometimes add another sires..but as good as they were they don't match up to mr p's production measured by spi (sire production index) in addition his firsters won their debuts at a 22% clip which is way more than the other two..although in fairness ap was a distance sire..I believe danzig, seattle slew who are about the same foal year (slew 74) have better spi's than api and sc also and danzig also hit in the low 20's first out along with being also a ridiculously good turf sire (by northern dancer)..the point is i'm amazed that as good as api and sc were the generation before rank much higher..ok i'm sure most of you don't care anyway lol but I myself do find it interesting

dam sire in GP R8 is galilleo who I believe is the most expensive sire in the world..his spi significantly higher than mr prospector.. interestingly enough he has mr p in his female family... his deceased sire sadlers wells and grandsire northern dancer probably would be close or even surpass him.. this is the very top of the mountain for stallions..he is mostly or almost exclusively a european distance influence

Race 6 #2 went off at 3-1 from ML 30-1; still out of money. I don’t have the form, but just curious why she was bet down so much.

gabby gaudet said it was a misprint and should have been 3-1..however when you tally the odds of the others 30-1 is about right..I think ml guy meant it to be 30-1 and messed up ..he looks 3-1 ish on paper imo
