Friday Dec.8
UNDER 6 -105 VGS@NSH // 1.05 units to win 1
VEGAS +1.5 PUCKLINE -205 // 2.05 units to win 1
*Vegas has won two games in a row (overtime and a shootout), while the home team Nashville has won 3 in a row. Vegas goalie Malcolm Subban has been really playing well on an uptrend the past couple weeks. Now as a team, Vegas if you look back for a month since Nov.10, they have 10 games with a game total of 6 or higher, with only 2 games of 5 total goals or less. So 10-2 totals 6 or higher (not talking about the line, just the outcome).
Nashville has a similar history for the past month going back to Nov.11 they have played one more game, with 9 games having 6 or more goals scored total, and 4 games with only 5 goals or less. So 9-4 totals 6 or higher.
Malcolm Subban on the season = 6 wins -2 loss - 0 overtime loss; 2.26 GAA; .923 save pct
Pekka Rinne on the season = 16 wins -4 loss - 2 overtime loss; 2.38 GAA; .926 save pct; 2 shutouts
12/12 results: -2.00 CALGARY ------> score 2-1 road loss at MINN in shootout after overtime

12/13 results: -2.50 UNDER 5.5 -125 NSH@VANC ------> score 7-1 home loss vs NSH
Thread: +7.11 units (W/L = 42-46-1 overall = .477 pct)
----------------------------------------------------------
*NOTE - Nilsson started for Vancouver at home and let in some really soft goals thru the 2nd period, score was 4-1, twice to PK Subban. Then in the 3rd Period, Nilsson played better but the Canucks left him out to dry by terrible defense, making the final score 7-1.....Canucks had a couple of key players out including Horvat, which triggered me to believe Under was the right play vs. Pekka Rinne in net for Nashville....game went completely the opposite as the home team played with no confidence.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Now with a season total of +7.11 units, maybe a lucky sign.

NHL Winter Classic
1pm eastern time outdoor game at Citi Field, New York
OVER 5.5 +110 NY Rangers @ Buffalo Sabres
5 units to win 5.50
I know today is College Football at its finest, but we also have just one NHL Hockey contest.
Temperatures for this outdoor game are expected to be 15 degrees, with brisk 20-25mph winds, bringing the windchill to -7 below zero. For some scheduling reason Buffalo Sabres are considered the home team for this game.
Going with the same logic that cost me a loss on Dec.16 in the NHL Heritage 100 Classic, which Ottawa beat Montreal by a score of 3-0. Montreal did not show-up for that game, other than their goalie Carey Price.
Not gonna see highest quality defense. Goalies will be nuts in hands trying to avoid hypothermia.
Both teams played overtime games on Wed.Dec.27 and Fri.Dec.29, then had the weekend off.
