Yesterday's situation:
Tampa was the moneyline favorite at -115, which means to bet Ottawa +1.5
Ottawa was the puckline favorite at -1.5, which means ... ???
Both your rules (post #1 or post #2447) and your daily posts DO NOT address this...
Would it REALLY be so hard to add some clarifying dialogue to the rules and/or to the daily post:
"The moneyline determines favorite/underdog positioning. If the puckline does not match, look for the alternate puckline to get +1.5 on the team we're betting on. Many alternate pucklines require larger bets to win the same amount as the standard puckline, so remember to adjust your bet if necessary."
Right now, every time you refer someone to the rules, it doesn't clarify this situation. Your rules are incomplete without addressing a moneyline/puckline discrepancy.
Be HELPFUL, not pompous...
