I still think the Cup winner will be the winner of this Vegas/Colorado series. Hard to go against the Golden Knights the way they've played the last 3 games but I still like Colorado. Game 5 will be epic I think but I lean Colorado and then the series going 7.

call me sentimental, but I'd like to see Price vs Fleury matchup

Price has 49 shutouts in his career > just one away from the 50 milestone

Fleury has 67 career shutouts > next one moves him into 14th place by himself (currently tied)

Brodeur with 125 career shutouts is the All-Time Leader

Habs rest while West could go 7. Carolina needs to find some scoring tonight to keep alive.

I'm going to pull for the Habs too they're a likeable team. The Knights will be a tough opponent if that's who they're facing but I think the Habs can do it if Carey Price continues to play well.

Toronto's CN tower will be lit up with Habs colours.

In Canada, if your team gets knocked out, a lot of fans start rooting for the surviving Canadian team, even if that team knocked your team out. Doesn't matter who does it as much as wanting the Cup to be in Canada.

As a habs fan, the Marty McSorleys illegal curve on his stick was hilarious. He broke the stick in practice, got pissed off and threw it over the boards, one of the Montreal trainers found the broken stick, saw the illegal curve then measured the stick and then told the coaching staff. The coaching staff new about it, and waited for the perfect time to call for the measure of McSorleys stick. Ahhhh the memories.

The Canadiens have never played the Avalanche or Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Montreal won three of five playoff series against the Quebec Nordiques before they relocated to Colorado prior to the 1995-96 season, including in six games in the 1993 Division Semifinals, when they most recenlty won the Stanley Cup.

The Canadiens lost their only game against the Avalanche last season, 3-2 at Montreal on Dec. 5, 2019.

The Canadiens defeated the Golden Knights twice last season, including a 5-4 shootout win at Vegas on Jan. 18, 2020 in which Carey Price made 30 saves.

New York — Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid, Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews and Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon have been named the finalists for the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP.

Vegas deserved to win that series against Colorado. I thought the Avs would play better but they were outplayed and outcoached in this series. I expect Montreal/Vegas to be a tremendous series so I can't wait.

Yeah probably although I think the Islanders have a chance against Tampa Bay. The only way I see Montreal beating Vegas is if Carey Price stands on his head the whole series and I don't think that will happen.
