    That striking can improve though. Her kicks have already gotten better. On TUF they were incredibly basic and now they need to at least be respected.

    Her biggest problem is transitioning from strikes to takedowns. She needs a better entrance. Her finish on takedowns is too much for these girls though. Against Aldrich and agains Pereira now she gets the heaviest sprawl these girls have to offer and drives straight through them anyway. Impressive.

    Periera looks totally unprepared for the level of grappling that Suarez is bringing. Holding onto that guillotine across the body all the time and throwing strikes from bottom. She has no answer. She wasn't ready for this at all.

    Agreed. Suarez has been on my list of prospects to watch for awhile. I hope she can stay healthy and fight often. Lots of talent and a rare technical wrestling game in WMMA.

    And her back ground narrative plays out nicely. Wrestling champ, cancer survivor...it can’t be written any better.
