How did Francis fare against this weak (and I agree that it is) lineup last year? Of course he's capable but I don't know why you'd be confident he turns around two trends tonight..

3 straight terrible starts this year (he got bailed out on opening day with a rainout)
a 5-10 record in 16 starts against the Pads
5.83 ERA for his career against the Pads
in 5 starts the Pads hit .320 against Francis last year

I am one of the best spade players ever , is 2 player game so is alot like having to depend on the bullpen , good defense and fair officiating instead of one element , myself/brain .
I can be sharp , but I am a master on the spades table , that's all I really know as far as this Rock game tonight .

Facts : padres with peavy starting has killed me many a time just like it has held true .
rockies with francis same thing .

Not a problem. Just thought I'd present some actual numbers as I hadn't seen any yet except a claim that Francis would give up one at most (which Francis has done once in 16 starts against SD).

He could go the whole way...fairly low pitch count so far. Francis isn't slouching but likely only has 1 more inning left. The hope for this one is getting to the Pads pen.

Padres need to get a baserunner first. Francis has retired 16 in a row. They are just the worst baseball team playing under the lights. And even worst at PetcoPark in night games. The padres will have to hit for Peavy and we will see the padre bullpen get rocked again. Peavy has thrown 91 pitches and he is almost done. LEts go rockies.
