I want to point out what a terrific sit out today was for DD's reliever plays. As of right now, it looks like only one game will go over today. That's pretty remarkable.

DD, mind my curiosity, but how many units are you up from baseball totals betting lifetime? It seems like you have invaluable experience and your results this year and last year speak for themselves

Good call, Pit ties it in the 9th and goes on to win in extra innings.

Lifetime? I'm 66 years old (I would like to think a young 66) and sometimes can't remember what I did last night.

Seriously, I don't really know. I just started posting plays the last couple of years and before that I really did not keep track of wins/losses just $.

DD I'm going to piggyback off what Heeluvaguy said. What a day to take off the overs. Highly doubt that was a coincidence. You are doing something right, that is for sure. Great work

Lines moved higher at most(all) places, esp Mets game to 9. I decided to buy 1/2 run ,8.5 -133. That is always an option if the line moves against you. NOte the original selection was 8.5 -120 so I only paid an extra 13 cents. I've found that when a poster, DD here, gives out a number, it's better to buy that number and pay the extra VIG than accept the higher number

I would do that if Bookmaker offered it. I am not exactly sure why they are so highly rated.

My local doesn't offer point buying on totals either. So far it hasn't hurt me in terms of a loss. The key is to try to get on the plays as immediate to DD releasing them as possible.

    Good morning,

First of all, it's important to be able to shop for the best line. That said, if you can buy the 1/2 run, and not pay more than 15 cents you may want to consider it. Yesterday was a good example when buying the 1/2 paid off, unfortunately it does not always work that well. In general, I feel that buying a 1/2 run for 15 cents or less in baseball is a prudent idea, much more so than a 1/2 point in a college basketball total for example. I'm sure people will disagree with me on this point, but it has served me well over the years.

    DD

    FYI:

Cleveland was a Reliever Side, but at -240 it was just too big of a fav for me to post and I do not have any history of run lines on the Reliever Sides. We'll start watching possible run line Reliever Sides.

    Just for info
the Az Pitt game was bet up to 9.5. I bought the 1/2 run, but because the odds were less I lowered my bet size from .8 unit to about 1/3 unit rather than bet the 9.5. It was that or pass and I wanted the action, I guess.
Cost me a little more than .15 cents....-134 vs the opener -110

I noticed that about 1/2 hour after it was posted, the line went to 9.5. IMHO you can never go wrong lowering your bet size when something like that happens. Well done, now let's hope it covers.

DD i was surprised not to see Minnesota come up somewhere this morning. Their bullpen was taxed with the long game yesterday. Just wondering as i expected to see houston as a reliever play, or...something.

It was not a Reliever Side since Houston's pen pitched 58 pitches yesterday, but it was not a Reliever Play since Houston's bull pen's ERA and WHIP were lower than my model calls for.
