Hmm, something is wrong with you dude. Li Na/Pennetta was one of the best matches this year, especially from the entertaining angle. This is a small tourney in the boondocks that I would not care about, if it was not for the money angle. And the tennis quality is not that great in this one.

Bouchard got to be feeling relieved about taking this (2nd game 3rd set) game. Petkovic gifted away a high percentage shot on BP.

I'm amazed how seasoned tennis bettors jump to conclusions after a one-sided set. You guys ever watch the game?

Let's hope genie can attack more freely, take the lead in the rallies early and stop worrying about the score board and progress of the match.

If UFE-festivals are your cup of tea, then you're absolutely right.

I, personally found it excruciating...and find this match compelling. It's nice to see points actually being won...not merely pissed away with poor execution as in the vast majority of WTA (the LiNa/Pennetta match I referred to being merely a strong example).

Yeah, maybe, but there was also a good share of nice winners there.

This one feels like a choke contest. The momentum is swinging back and forth. Petko is choking away right now.

this looks so much like real tennis here...cuz both broads can "bang"...not paddy-cakers like errani/halep/Arad...all talented "getters" for sure but not "hitters" like these two

I disagree with whoever didnt think this was a good match. Best match of the tournament by far. Both women hit big and enjoyable to watch.

Uh, any match is good if you win the bet ! So this was a good match. But I would not compare it to the big matches involving top-10 players at big tourneys. Thanks again, MDF.

    Boooooooom, cash that mofo!!!!

This is the reason why I love betting Petko on big matches. This woman never gives up. Down 4-2 final set and Bouchard pretty much done and dusted this match, the grittiness of the German prevails.

All you premature ejaculators and Bouchard will learn the hard way it's all about the closing in tennis, not how you start.

I agree (and edited accordingly)...but she has the annoying tendency to play to the exact level of her opposition...hence her getting involved occasionally in ugly crap-fests with paddy-cakers she really should dispense with efficiently.

But you're right...while players like A-rad must rely on placement, an "in the zone" LiNa can definitely blast winners of the sort we saw a lot of today from Bouchard and Petkovic...

hell of a match...Petko heavily out-gunned early kept her composure and applied it when it really mattered most...at the business end of the match

As much as I congratulate and agree with you, you could stand to tone down your cockiness yourself. You win some, you lose some, even if you win more than most.

I'm not being cocky, I'm just tired of seeing all these first set trolls that have no idea about tennis come chime in with their nonsense. It's getting tiresome and really brings down this forum. Everyone knows when I post a pick, I dont post up some bullshit posting that says "take this player" and that's it with nothing else to add. I put full detailed analysis and sharing my insight and knowledge of these all players that I've gained through the years of betting on this sport. I only post a play that I find great value for this forum and to hear all these trolls is just getting tiresome.

I always wish everyone the best of luck and really mean it because that is what this forum is for , if not then we shouldnt even be on here.

I am tired of it as well. I wouldn't know if everyone knows that, but I sure do. I absolutely understand what you say in the quote above, but I do think you're being cocky. I've often felt when you've won a bet that you communicate how everyone else was wrong and there was no alternative outcome. That is to say that is how I personally often interpret your post-win posts – the way it comes across to me.

I very much appreciate your presence on this board.

one thing i like about the tennis sub-forum here is we have lotsa people with the right combination of "hard head" AND "thick skin"...

so everything needn't turn into the name-calling hissy-fits that characterize the rest of this god-forsaken board
