Not meaningless. As with every tournament, he has tons of points to defend. What Serbian friend are you referencing? Tomic is an Aussie and won't get any freebies from anyone.

I think Tipsarevic could go far this week. I was however considering an over in that one, but laid off - I do think Youzhny can push him if he serves well before Tipsarevic gets comfortable. Had though about Nishikori early, but he's a gross majority pick @ TI and the fatigue concerns I had for Querrey did not show in his opener. Nishi is still a tough cookie, but Sam is in excellent form right now. Probably going to play him as he was someone I had picked to win against this particular match-up.

If you want start times, google the Rogers Cup schedule of play. You can get the 1st court times and then estimate the matches after that. 5D lists all times Eastern.

Again I dont think you can classify anyone who played in London as a potential hangover. Each case is different. Del Potro was one I saw with flameout potential because of the long match with Federer and then playing again for the Bronze. Murray to me should not be fatigued. The match against Federer was no more than a practice session.

agreed, that is why i laid off Del Potro and Djoker. I think Murray should be fine. I just hope Tsonga comes out serious.

You also have to consider the opponent as well. Murray can be at 60% and still straight set Cipolla. Cipolla is very weak on this surface. He has absolutely no weapons on this surface .I find it extremely difficult for him to take a set off Murray even if he's in a hangover mood.

It's ok, isn't Tsonga one of those guys that starts off slow and takes a set to find his groove? By the end of this second set he'll have found himself and will be in a good position to break chardy.

he just had a chance to break him at 40-30 and couldn't put it away. good sign is Tsonga is now on his A game on his serve and Chardy looks like he has no chance to break him

Tsonga's pretty efficient in tie breaks, he'll win this set then finish him off in the 3rd.
