Received a 'free entry' to the most recent slots tournament on Bookmaker.

These exact steps were taken.

Normally these little offers go off without a hitch, yet for whatever reason I got charged for the initial entry ($40.) No big deal, right? Just pull up a live chat with the account services, they'll credit me off and that'll be it....nope. What ensued was a long exchange where they said "oh, you had to contact us DURING the tournament for us to credit you for the entry fee." Apparently "FREE" <> $0 in some cases.

So apparently, this website is incapable of issuing a $40 credit outside the realm of the tournament in question if their promo system does not work properly.

This is not the first time the customer service has sucked on this account. Small overcharges on credit card inquiries (along with many others) are ignored and never answered.

While they do a nice job with prompt payouts, it's unfortunate that their lackluster customer service detracts from that positive attribute. Make me wonder how they got an "A+" rating....
