I think so too but they probably have a lot of customers online too. Enough to make huge profits. Average bet is probably 10 to 20 pounds but on a lot of parlays. Big cash machine this type of business.

Results out today, not that great but steady HY revenue ~$800m. Some interesting reading for those interested in the company. They have some quite interesting plans for betdaq it seems.

are you referring to "We are on track to introduce a Ladbrokes exchange product to run alongside our existing fixed odds sportsbook early in 2014" ?

I don't think it's special. Betdaq needs a lot more if they want to step up their game

In local shops there are at least few people there. Everyone bets few times mostly on horseracing or dogs, at night or weekends people bet on soccer, other sports are very rarely. People stay mostly 30 mins in the shop some stay longer. And every shop has 2-4 slot machines so you can lose some more money but to be happy 1 in a week when you hit something. Basically thats it dogs or horses from 1-2 oclock where the house cant loose. And thats not only Ladbrokes but WH, Betvictor, Paddypower, Betfred and so on.
