so if shared computers are not allowed, then why in the world would I register with that book. Hell, I would just call in every play but maybe a pay phone is not acceptable as they will see the number more than once. I really don't think that is a legitimate reason as whats the downfall to that. If you have a friend with an account as well whats the trouble with the books perspective, they want action, they have to acceppt any means of getting the plays in.

I say scrap the bonuses from now on and thats why I like the greek as I don't want the bonuses as I want to do with my money what I want. I don't want a rollover and don't want to sweat payouts. Just deposit your cash, tell them you don't want the bonus and everything should be on the up and up.

Thats my advice. Most who do choose to chase bonuses are only setting themselves up for someting to happen. The books gives bonuses to entice action knowing that the probablility of most gamblers are going to lose their investment in the first place. Money management, don't force plays. If you have 100 games from basketball and football, you don't have to play 20 plays, if you only see 3 plays that have value then play only 3 games and go out with the family.

    that is a LIE

they are 100% sound and honest
their staff may not be the most competent though

Australian books are the most strongly regulated in the world
If you have a genuine complaint refer it to their regulator

BUT, they are not the book they were before being taken over by that horrible Irish mob
Severe bet limits now being imposed

I'm going to have to agree with DIF. IASBet is pulling all sorts of unexplained funny business to confiscate accounts, without a real explanation.

They are on my "steer clear" list.

I suspect the real problem is their staff aren't properly trained in how to administer the strict rules they are required to comply with.

I have my criticisms of IAS since Paddy Power took them over but cheating players would not be part of their game. No way.

I've played at IAS almost since their inception and never had any problems of that sort and I know heaps of other punters who would agree with me on that. They are just about the biggest and most respected firm in Australia for horse racing.

If you have any real problems I'm sure that the NT government regulator will give you a very good hearing.

I second that, i think the European based players may find things a little more difficult though, perhaps to do with information and documents, perhaps. Either way, IASBet and Betchoice have been great for me.

it's an aussie book. unlike other books this book actually has rules it should abide by. when you have a complaint don't wait weeks for sbr to help you, simply contact their regulator!

    Where's the scam in that?

The matter was resolved. The player got his money back.

You have to comprehend that the licensed bookmaking system in Australia is highly regulated, making it the world's safest

The bookies have to comply with a lot of what might seem over-the-top ID stuff to those used to dealing with real scam bookies elsewhere in the world

If players can't provide the required ID stuff within a stipulated time they are required to close accounts

i've played at iasbet for over 5 years, turned over hundreds of thousands and had ZERO problems. Excellent for betting on all codes of racing. Only real issue is that the th ejuice on sports is on the high side. Overnight payouts excellent. This bookie is safe as a bank...and no I'm not a shill. I live in OZ so maybe that is a distinguishing factor here.

Some people just never get it.

In Australia sports betting is legal.
    Bookmakers are licensed by governments.
In return the are required to comply with various regulations including strict ID checks.
If you don't want to play in the world's safest environment then don't bother with Australian books.

Much poorer book since PaddyPower took over, but scam book? Dont make me laugh Aussie books (Especially IASBet) with their stringent regulation are among the safest and most secure anywhere in the industry. Not sure why this old thread was resurrected but some of the names have the same complaint about other books 'stealing' their money (nenad for instance) but have been caught out by using the same I.P. address or security checks, so it would seem that either they have more than one account receiving a bonus at the same household or have multiple accounts. If you have a legitimate complaint I hope it is resolved fairly, but if you have broken the books t & c's then its too bad.

If you've been unable to resolve the issue with IAS, refer it to the Northern Territory regulator who will give you a very fair hearing and has the power to order the return of funds should that be appropriate.

I suspect you've failed to provide satisfactory ID evidence as required by the law.

Hareeba. Is it possible in some way claim his funds to Paddy Power instead? Its a small sum 314$. and he already gave him that 100 points in ID evidence that was needed at that time he asked for withdrawal And Deposit funds. (almost 2 years)

    I don't work for anyone.
What a waste of time asking Paddy!
Almost certain you haven't complied with some ID requirement.
Find out what the problem is and rectify it. Then you'll get the money.
    Otherwise go to the regulator.

My interest is solely in correcting inaccurate, misleading and unfair statements.

Also to attempt to offer assistance and education to those who are unfamiliar with how things work.

I have been using IAS since they were first formed by Mark Read. Unfortunately Read has sold out to Paddy Power and the place has gone downhill badly in that they now severely limit punters. However there is no way that they would attempt or ever be allowed to get away with some of the things posters on here have accused them of.

from waht I've read in this thread he's just offering advice to you and others - take it or leave it. I dont get paid for posting here and neither do 99.9% of posters so why suggest some one does without strong evidence?
