    BetOnline poker games

We spoke with mgt regarding the inquiries players had on poker. There are provider issues causing players to not be able to make new transfers into the room. Players with funds still in the poker client can transfer on back to the sportsbook.

There's no current ETA on when poker is restored, but your funds are in your immediate control and the book/casino access continues on as normal. Note, there is no "licensing" issue as some have speculated.

What exactly are 'provider' issues, Lou?
Isn't thier poker provider the network they are on? Please help me understand this.

Speaking to thier CS I was told funds have been manually (by them) moved from poker to sports, thus a DeFacto ceasing of poker for every single BOL customer.
If we log on and play a freeroll or points to enter torney, what happens to real cash that is then generated in a player's account?

Why has not a single email been sent to customers to explain whats going on, yet no problem me getting their emails 'thanking me for not hammering them on the NBA playoffs'?!

Am I out of line to have expected a site that has made hundreds/thousands of dollars from me in rake to let me know about a 'problem' that has NO ESTIMATED FIX DATE?!

Only me hammering away with my one post(which SBR has now locked closed) is the reason
we now have a 'statement' from them?

Lou, answer one last question honestly, please and with all respect:
If your oldest son asks you tommorrow should he put a few thousand into BetOnline.ag, would you say, "Great idea son!", or would you dissuade him from this particular choice of books?
(Obviously let's assume he won't have the suction of his dad to back him up should things go awry.)

I'm with you dude. It's all very sketchy. People put money in their program, and they don't have the decency to let people know it doesn't even work.

The fifty dollars I put in I considered it lost, I played their stupid poker heads up bs and it's all gone. I feel sick to my stomach.

I wish I had deposited the money into RPM poker, they have far more players, around 11k, many of them americans, and a friend of mine works for the company. I always deposited into bet online because of their advertised "Fast payouts" through **********, whereas with RPM poker you would have to wait 2-4 weeks for a check. But honestly it would be worth that wait since they never had any of these crazy type problems.

It's a shame I had to lose a year of my life and a shitton of money to understand that online pokier is very dangerous and shady. But you know what they say, better late than never.

I strongly advise against playing on betonline to anyone that considers it

Sounds to me like all the customers were transferring funds and blowing $500 in the poker room and BetOnline was making $1.13 in rake and they decided to put an end to that.

    Dear
No thanks to Saturday night’s controversial decision, we suffered our largest loss on a single fight in the history of the company. Thanks for not pounding Timothy Bradley (+350) like everyone else.*

And it wasn’t much better in MLB, NBA and soccer. Definitely score last week to the BetOnline players. Too bad you missed out on the easy pickins’.

    Don’t miss out this week…

The NBA Finals gets underway tonight with the underdog Miami Heat (+5) visiting the Oklahoma City Thunder. If you are looking to make the most of your bets, our NBA limits go all the way up to $10,000.

Considering Tiger Woods’ resurgence, I’m confident you’ll be playing the US Open. You’ll win and save more with us since we are offering 16-cent matchups; well below the industry-standard 20-30 cents. We’ll also have Live betting Saturday and Sunday.

Speaking of reduced juice, it’s hard to beat our 16-cent spreads and totals on the Euro 2012.

Don’t let another profitable week pass you by. Head over to BetOnline.ag () and make a quick deposit and we’ll sort you out with up to $900.00 worth of sports free plays – that’s our Lifetime Bonus Guarantee.**

Once you’ve locked-down your free bets, you’ll be placing your winners with ‘house money’, because you can.

    Looking forward to your return!

P.S. Once you claim your free plays and put them in action, you can check the rollover status of them on the top navigation bar. No more calling in!

They actually have some if the highest rake % 's in the industry.
Take a look for yourself, where 6 player super turbo SNG's are charged 10%. (I mention these particular games since the turnover rate of Super Turbos creates the most rake per hour, hence players should get a break on these very fast games, but not at BOL Poker.

im curious to know if all the players got their funds transferred back into sports, because you can still see people playing in ring games and tournies. i normally keep everything in poker and just transfer to sports when i want to place a bet but for some idiotic reason i put everything into sports 2 saturdays ago, then i havnt been able to transfer back. as for the free rolls i played one for fun today( i actually funded my whole bank roll orignally off a free roll built it to well over 3k) and the balance is still there in poker. i want to know how some players had BOL transfer their funds into sports while some still have some in poker it doesnt make sense. i dont know lou i think you have been lied to. everything about the poker network licensing agreement makes sense. i was away on holiday but i guess back in april they shut down poker for a few days, this makes one wonder as it has been less than 2 months later and this is more than just a glitch. like the post above said they are waiting till they get another agreement, and thats why they just keep saying no timeframe lol.

I think somone in a differnt thread hit the nail on the head alot of players transferring large amounts into poker and blowing it fast and they make $2 in rake, they want it all in sportsbetting losses.

Lol its bacon wings. I'll never forget you because I won an all in with AA against your 99 maybe 5 months ago. You got your money off a freeroll? And built it to 3k? Wow man, cool, I deposited almost 10000 dollars into their thing over the course of a year, didn't finish college after 5 years and 176 credits, and haven't won a penny. That feels raw

was it in a tourney or cash game? yea the only time i deposited was so i could withdraw, but i won 18 bux off a free roll, and with the help of nfl season and poker i built it, but now that i havnt been able to play going on over a week ive been burning a lot of it in the sports book which im sure BOL loves cause all these poker players and degenerate gamblers need to have constant action. fuckng panamanians.

Yes I agree completely. Sketchy ass fools maniuplating stupid kids like me. It was in a cash game btw I hate tournaments

Any idea how you won the 18 dollars? I did once too but quickly lost it as usual because I have "bad bankroll management."

I am trying to win the 18 dollars freeroll on RPM poker so I can play there whatd you do just play strong holdings from early position and weaker onces from later position and that worked?

I strongly dissagree with the assumption they don't want poker.
The sportsbook/poker alliance can be extreamly valuable to the book, provided its run by competent gaming executives.

Hey Bacon, great question, really at the heart of the matter.
When you log into the poker client, you'll see lots of people playing. Most likely These are people who you see because they are playing on that poker network (Action, Hero, and/or Chico), and they are not a customer of the BOL skin.

This is an absolute cluster-fuk fir heavy BOL poker players, compounded by a disgusting lack of forthrightness.

Getting refocused, please chime in if you have any new info from any source you trust regarding the BetOnline Poker Fiasco.

After wading hip deep in these BOL complaints, I feel like if they started a website on how to boil water they would screw that up royally as well.

    PrinceCharles.

What has truly occured is this. Betonline.ag was being hacked by players in southAfrica. They were the ones transferring money from players betonline sportbook to poker, then dumping it all. What outback al has decided to do is, change service provider. Only because one of her personal accounts was hacked, and over 20k was lost in casino alone. (Turns out someone knew that was her personal account). Betonline is banking on server changing as being away to protect their poker asset. Yet on the other hand. If you have played on betonline.ag poker. You mean to tell me all the guys who locked down 8 tables to get action. Aren't there anymore. Those aren't people who even withdraw. Those are the same people who worked for either betonline or south africa who would play against you guys. Those guys like to just take tables down. Those same people took money out of poker before the issue begun. Seems kind of fishy to me Honestly just leave this sportsbook alone, and play poker with your buddies.

Well be about another 2 -3 weeks. They are in the process of getting a brand new provider. I assume that will not occur over night.

The way BOL handled this situation is totally unprofessional. I had so much trouble depositing, I stressed how badly I wanted to play poker, but not one rep thought to tell me that poker is down. Their reason for not telling me, was that this was supposed to be a quick fix. Keep in mind, I deposited during week two of this site being down. I did not think this would be an issue seeing hundreds of people playing.

The prepaid cards that used to work, stopped working. So I decided to buy a larger amount due to the ** fees. I never knew ** declined prepaid cards too. It says nothing on their website and they promote their own prepaid cards. I finally did a money transfer and now I feel like fate was telling me don't deposit.

I tried to play in their casino but it is a ghost town. I wish there was a way to transfer funds to another skin in their network. BOL took funds knowing most people are going to wait it out due to the long withdrawl times and the fees that accompany them.

A little off topic but has anyone noticed that BOL takes an odd amount of rake. I never saw pots where change was awarded.

Havent noticed odd rake amounts, just way high buy in /entry fees for SNG's that should be almost half what they charge.

people with slow pay complaints about checks and wires haven't had thier money stolen, no reports of that with valid shady behavior on the players part. I do believe It's a headache dealing them for withdrawls larger than the max p2p. If some is satified with without large checks and wires they are ok for smaller players. Hell maybe the bulk checks and wires go smooth, I have only had p2p.
