Hey guys,
I'll start by saying I'm in the US and I have a question about BetOnline and sportsbooks in general.
I joined BetOnline before football season because I was tired of going through friends of friends and some people I knew were doing online books. I didn't do enough research because all the books I tried to join weren't accepting people from the US. Finally I landed at BetOnline and the experience was good enough.
Now, I am by no means an expert gambler. I just wanted to take some shots to make football more exciting. Well, long story short, I ended up winning (nothing crazy, like $1,500) on the Giants in the super bowl. I wanted to get a payout and I started the process the day after the super bowl to ensure I had some winnings and didn't blow it all on something stupid. I still don't have any money. I feel like I've been jumping through hoops all the time. First, I needed to meet some rollover balance that was never explained to me. Fine, I did that. Then I had to wait until the system updated which took forever. All the while, I'm not getting any info on what's going on or why I'm not getting my money. Most of my phone calls were dead ends as I was told to go through their website or emails. But no one has been responding to my emails. I have sent several over the past few weeks and the ones that were answered were answered at least 5 days later.
I finally got my payout processed a week ago today but still have no date or anything happening so I call up and find out that it was cancelled because I only sent in a CC document for 1 of the 2 CCs I used for deposit (I used the card twice, won no money with the deposits from it and they don't even accept it anymore). The thing is, I had to call to find this out. No cancellation notice was sent, nothing.
Sorry for the long post, but my question is
Is this normal? I figure that a lot of these books will drag out payment a little but does this seem standard?
I wouldn't mind jumping through some hoops if the customer service was helpful but they don't respond to emails and the phone operators don't seem to be very knowledgeable and honestly, I was HUNG UP ON on 2 different occasions.
