    Sportsbook.com player reports Moneybookers delay

    09.26.2011 (02:37 PM CST)

    Sportsbook.com player reports Moneybookers delay

A Sportsbook.com (SBR rating D-) player reports requesting a $2,500 Moneybookers withdrawal on September 15th. The player tells SBR that his payout has not processed as of yet. Sportsbook.com (ag) allegedly informed the player that there were processor problems leading to the payment delay. | Sportsbook.com live chat transcript

    Sportsbook.com live chat transcript

info: You are currently customer 1 in queue. An agent should be available in 0 Minutes.

info: Hello, my name is Kristen Black. I'll be assisting you today.

    Sportsbook.com player: Hi Kiristen

    Kristen Black: Hello {name redacted**)

Sportsbook.com player: I requested a Moneybookers withdrawal more than 10 days ago and it is still shown as pending. Can you tell me what the problem/delay is ?

Kristen Black: Yes im sorry {name redacted** we are now experiencing a small delay with the process of moneybookers ,management is working on it to get this resolved as soon as possible,we apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding on this.

Sportsbook.com player: Are you not accepting Moneybookers deposits ? If you are can you clarify what the problem is and where on your website it states this. thanks.

Kristen Black: We are accepting moneybookers ,is just that the processor is experiencing a delay,i dont have the details as i said management is taking care of that.

Sportsbook.com player: Can you provide me with a management contact then please. I am disappointed that I am having to contact you to find this out. No e-mail to tell me of a delay, no reply to 3 e-mails I have sent and no message on the website letting your customers know about this. very poor in my opinion.

Kristen Black: Im sorry about this, one moment please

    Sportsbook.com player: thanks

    Kristen Black: You're very welcome.

info: Please wait while I transfer the chat to 'Edwin Morris'.

info: Hello, my name is Edwin Morris. I'll be assisting you today.

Sportsbook.com player: Hi Edwin. Do you have chat so far ?

    Edwin Morris: Hello, {name redacted**).

Edwin Morris: Hello, I see you've already been chatting. Please give me a moment to review the previous chat session and pick up from where you left off.

    Sportsbook.com player: ok thanks

    Edwin Morris: You're very welcome.

Edwin Morris: Unfortunately, {name redacted**), there is a delay in processing your withdrawal.

Edwin Morris: We will be contacting you as soon as we have an update on this.

Edwin Morris: Our apologies for this matter.

Sportsbook.com player: As I stated previously I find it disappointing that I have to contact you to finds this out, with 3 e-mails sent not replied to. Are there delays on all pay out methods ?

Edwin Morris: I fully understand your point on that.

Edwin Morris: This is a delay on our E-wallet withdrawals only.

Sportsbook.com player: Can you confirm how long there has been a problem ? What is problem ? Thanks
Edwin Morris: This has been going around for about three weeks, unfortunately, same time you requested your withdrawal. It is merely a delay in processing and out withdrawals crew is looking into it to determine the direct cause.

Sportsbook.com player: There has been a problem for 3 weeks - is there a message on your website informing your e-wallet customers that at present you can deposit instantly but there will be a delay if you wish to withdraw ?

Edwin Morris: There is not, no. Your feedback on the matter is appreciated though.

Sportsbook.com player: Does that mean there will be one added now ?

Edwin Morris: Not necessarily. It means we do appreciate your feedback on it and we will consider it.

Sportsbook.com player: OK. What is timescale for resolving it ? 3 weekes seems a very long time already.

Edwin Morris: Definitely understood. Unfortunately, I do not have a specific timeframe I can offer as of yet.

Sportsbook.com player: Is there anything else I can do now or can you pass me further up the ladder. To be honest all I have learned is that there is a problem and no idea when it will be resolved ?

Edwin Morris: Unfortunately, this is the answer we currently have to give to you as a customer.

Edwin Morris: At this time we will kindly ask of you to wait on an update.

Edwin Morris: We will definitely have one and let you know as soon as we do.

info: Your chat transcript will be sent to {address redacted** at the end of your chat.
Sportsbook.com player: ok thanks anyway. I may be wrong but this has all the signs of a Sportsbokk in trouble. I hope I am wrong.

Edwin Morris: Positively answering that, that particular belief is.

Edwin Morris: It is a delay, yes. It is just that though.

Edwin Morris: We will contact you as soon as we have an update.

    Edwin Morris: You're very welcome.

Edwin Morris: Thank you for chatting with us today. If you've got a moment, please click here; we'd really appreciate your feedback.

Sportsbook.com player: Good luck - I think you might need it !!

Edwin Morris: That kind of wishes are always welcome, thank you. No particular need for it though.

Edwin Morris: Do have a good one.

Sportsbook.com has recently made the SportsbookReview news feed by offering players bonuses to cancel their pending withdrawals. Most recently, a Sportsbook.com manager addressed one of these complaints confirming that the player in question would be paid in full.

Players in need of sportsbook assistance are asked to fill out a sportsbook complaint form. Alternatively, players may reach SBR by writing to help@sportsbookreview.com or dialing 1-830-255-4677 seven days a week during normal business hours

Same issue I've been having for 3 weeks. I'm curious as to how this type of issue could take more than 3 weeks to figure out.

I don't even understand why they need an external processor to make Moneybookers payments. If they have funds arriving in their Moneybookers account it should be as simple as logging in and sending money to their customer's account? What am I missing here?

2 threads attacking sportsbook.com in the last week or two about their problems they are having with their processors but not one single thread from SBR about the exact same issue that (sponsor book) BetOnline is experiencing or the reports of bounced checks from (sponsor books) 5dimes and Bodog.

I am slowly losing faith in SBR as an honest review site, not that sportsbook.com is the greatest book on the planet but it is disgusting how SBR protects their sponsor books and attacks those books who refuse to pay SBR. Here in the states they call this extortion

It seems that my pending payout as been cancelled and returned to my balance.
This has now been converted from Dollars to Euros.

BTW, it seems that Sportsbook.com is now owned by Winunited,
    a Malta based bookmaker.

Didn't effect me, but slightly dodgy:

Any open bets shall be cancelled prior to the launch of the new Non US Resident Sportsbook.com. The bet amount shall be returned to your cash balance and transferred to your new account. Make sure to take advantage of our opening weekend promotions such as FANtastic Futures and Pig Skin Parlay Power.
Also sure WinUnited had problems in the past..

It is now a worthless out.

Are the limits the same on other skins, how about the management/sercurity (they all seem to have about the same lol SBR grade)
