    FUKK Bet Jamaica !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    So I call on the way home from work today to get WestU info. They give it to me. I stand in line for 20 minutes to get it done. I call back with my info and they say I asked for M gRam info. I'm like there is no way I did. I never even use that method so there is no way I asked for it! They supervisor insists that she is correct and I ask her to check the tapes. She says she will reimburse me the fees, but I have to cancel my transaction and then send a new one. She also warns me not to be verbally abusive to them! I'm like WHAT? I only raised my voice because they basically told me I'm full of crap and they would not check the tapes. I never once swore or called anyone names. I had a right to be a little upset!

    So at this point I told them I will not be sending any money and I will cancel the transaction. How dare they tell me off when I have been a loyal customer since they opened!

    I proceed to insist they check the tapes and if I'm wrong (which I'm 100% positive I'm not) then I will eat the fees. If I'm right, then they should reimburse the fees. They tell me they will only give me the fees if I send a deposit.

    So I had to call and cancel my transaction. Then had to go back and wait in line for another 15 minutes to get my money, minus the fees back!

    I call back and ask to speak with Scotty. Of course he is not there! (he never is)

    "I ask why they won't check the tapes? You must know you are wrong!" They finally agree to check them and tell me to call back in an hour. I call back. They act like they don't even know what I'm talking about now! So after 10 more minutes of arguing, they said they are still working on it. They offer me a $25 free play. I tell them to keep it! I said just let me listen to the tape and I will eat the fees no matter what!

    So now they are giving me the run around. I'm giving up on the fees but they have lost my business forever!

    What a bunch of classless people working there! Is there ever a supervisor there?

    I can't believe they are willing to lose me as a customer after all this time over a few measly bucks and treat me like a nobody!

    Sounds to me like you are the one thats classless. People make mistakes, including clerks at sportsbooks.

    Yes, they made a mistake. But they insist they didn't and tell me I'm wrong. All I asked is that they check. They won't. So how am I classless?

    op has right to be upset it is not pleasant to wait in line to send money it is real hassle. There arent much method to send fund to books these day they need to pay more attention.

    I usually do this to avoid these situations but I was at work all day. I'm not going to use my work computer to conduct gambling business.

    If Scotty isn't there,ask for Shayla.I can understand the frustration but it sounds like they were trying to make it right with reimbursing the fees and giving a free play.I wouldn't want to lose any of the Olympic group at this time.

    I dont know, but I doubt the girls on the phone can just stop and listen to the tapes at their will, if there are even tapes of all calls. I deposited there last week and almost stopped my deposit, because its the 1st time in all my years of playing there it wasnt a Jamaican lady on the phone, it was definatley a non accented white english speaking woman. In all my years of playing there its the 1st time Ive had that happen. Bottom line they have always been good to me, and have always done the right thing,JMO.

    No. Only after they started treating me like sHit. They didn't even offer to reimburse the fees at first because they insisted that I was wrong!

    Do you understand how frustrating it is to wait 20 minutes in line. Then on the phone 15 minutes to cancel. Then have to return to the store again to wait another 20 minutes in line to get the money back. Then send a new one?

    Read the story before you comment for fuks sakes. Withdrawal????

    Even if it is the "never do anything wrong" betjm, they should admit wrong when they are and stop trying to avoid blame. It doesn't matter what they want to give you, when they start off by blaming you they need to make it right by admiting they made a mistake and then move on. Not be all dodgy and shit.

    Doesn't matter who the book is. The book needs to admit wrong and train the service staff better

    BetJam is a pretty good book but they do make mistakes just like everyone else. If Scotty isnt there ask for Shayla over Herman if you have a choice. Herman is 2nd in charge but you never know which Herman you will get.

    OP has a right to be mad after waiting in line. That was compounded by the way it was handled (them saying he was at fault). This most likely would have been a thread if they handled it better. It could have even been a positive thread on how they handled it. It is sad the pride of the customer service rep will cost Betjam a longtime loyal customer.

    Also, like people say, books make mistakes too, but if there is any doubt, you don't say it is the customers fault.

    As it's been said.. mistakes happen. They offered a $25 free-play and to reimburse the fees.

    I think you're expecting too much from CS clerks. If you want someone to speak candidly with you and explain the error—though I'm not sure what else could be done since they've already acknowledged the error by their offering of a FP + fee reimbursement—best to ask for Scotty.

    Scottie, the GM, is/was a pretty stand up guy but every since they got jammed up over the ** thing a year ago they've been sliding pretty badly. I had a glitch getting a large pay out so I closed my account. They are owned by a ********* and they are going thru some issues but, I'm sure they'll work it out. Sorry to hear your issue with them-they were always good to me.

Just standard issues the Online industry is going thru as it relates to doing business with US customers. Nothing alarming per se, they have been really aggressive in pursuing methods by which to offer easier ways to play, pay and be paid and are having to adapt to the current climate.

    As I said before, they have always been great to me and the snag I hit was not of their making but in response to restrictions placed on them by their processors and such.     They never acknowledged the error. They put the blame on me!

    A $25 free play with a 6x time rollover is not covering the fees!

    I did ask for Scotty, as I explained this in my initial thread!

    I never got mad at the money. It was about them treating me bad.

    I was clearly frustrated last night spending over an hour of my Friday night dealing with this.

    I should have not raised my voice, but I never swore or called anyone names. If they would not have attacked me, I would never had been mad in the first place.

    I talked to Scotty this afternoon. He apologized but the conversation didn't go smooth. I was calm but he started with insults calling me a child for starting this thread. I guess making this thread is the only way I was able to get in touch with him. I assume SBR is the one who sent him an email?

    I told him to keep the fees and we will go our separate ways. He put the fees in my account anyways.

    I'm done with this book. I will parlay the fees he put in and take a shot, but I think I will never deposit in there again.

    Undersand being upset about the turn around when it was their error but to alienat yourself from the best standing family of books to US customers in greek/betjam I think you are making a mistake.

    I agree.

    Mistakes happen, the recording would be the ultimate decider though. If you asked for ** and they gave you ** then it is clearly there fault, but then again they did offer to pay your fees so I don't know.

    Since you live in the US i wouldn't burn one of your best bridges for something so small.

    While I agree with you somewhat have you ever waited 20 minutes in line to send money? Then when you call they tell you, you are wrong? It could make a normal man kill.

    Mon..Gr..* is my preferred deposit method with BetJamaica.

    Several times I have asked for a name for Mon..Gr**, and after a few minutes they come back and say "WestU, right?" Had to correct them several times.

    Never got stuck like you though, can imagine it was not a good situation.

    Customer service in the industry is generally lousy.

    When offered a freeplay, grab it. Usually books won't make that offer, even if they did screw up.
